Took my laptop in to get my screen replaced he was confident in fixing it, called me to tell me he couldn’t fix it and now my screen is completely broken. At least I could use my screen before bringing it in now it is completely broken. Do NOT go here.

I was having trouble with my laptop charging port, and a new replacement charger was not helping either. I brought my laptop in during the height of the pandemic, and close to closing time. Elie was incredibly helpful and patient, taking steps to pinpoint the solution. After identifying a fix, he advised me free of charge given the contex of the issue. Another well known repair store was quoting $90 just for a diagnostic fee, which would have seemed disproportionate to the situation. Elie was kind, professional, and attentive. I am already planning to use his services again for other technology projects. Highly recommending this place of business. Trust is earned, and I feel this is the case with EMC Computer.

Had utilized EMC in the past with a laptop disk drive upgrade but this time I was in serious trouble with a 9 yr old Dell desktop that had crashed due to a blown capacitor on the motherboard. Since it was very old I contracted with EMC to build a new custom computer utilizing the latest technology with removal of a selected 1TB Drive and access to the remaining multiple hard drives on the old. The C on the old could not be accessed due to disk configuration setup so EMC had to find an exact motherboard match and replace it to access the 2 laced 250GB drives. The new custom computer works flawlessly with incredible speed and the old and slow one was recovered and is now accessible for additional data backup. Elie Nicolas (owner) is super to work with and he extends himself to insure that customers are very satisfied.

My laptop stopped working, and after trying everything I could think of, I found EMC Computer through an internet search. It is just a mile from my house, had good reviews, so I decided to give it a try.After talking to me about the problem computer for a few minutes, he told me (and when was the last time anyone said this to you?) If its what i think it is, the cost will be $$. IF I CANT FIX IT THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE.Well, he did fix it in less than 24 hours, the charge was very reasonable, and the computer is working great.My first job was as a computer programmer, Ive been using computers for 50 years, one of my jobs was systems manager for my company. In my opinion, if he doesnt know how to fix it, it probably cant be fixed.

Could not be happier with this place. Eli is friendly and patient and good at what he does. Gave me a great deal on a trade-in. I would buy refurbished laptops in the past but gave up with unscrupulous dealers on the internet but took a chance with Eli. Glad I did. Eight months later, two months after his six months warranty expired, I gave him a call as the internet wasnt working on the pc. Eli explained the recent windows ten update and gave me detailed instructions on resolving the issue. Worked like a charm, did not charge me a thing even though it was the result of an update and not the great laptop he sold me. I will never go elsewhere now and urge you to look at his great refurbished deals.
