Very good apartment! Good location, environment, neighbor, administration...... There is a good primary school across the road. This area is also very safe. There are many Chinese visiting scholars in the community. So it is suitable for Chinese visiting scholars at JHU.

I loved living here. The office staff and maintenance man (Juan, specifically) were always kind and efficient.

I lived at this property up until about July 2019. I truly enjoyed my experience. Even at an older property, the renovations and added details around the property made it feel welcoming and homey. The maintenance team is one-of-a-kind. We got to know them personally, not from numerous requests but from seeing them around the complex. As they got to know my partner and I, whenever we had any issues in the apartment I trusted them wholeheartedly and knew they would take care of my apartment while I was absent. I also want to give a shoutout to the property manager, Kelly. Just as the maintenance team, she is one of those gems you will not find everywhere. Kelly made everything seem to easy. She understood how busy my partner and I were and learned email would be the best way to reach us soon after our arrival. Not all properties learn their resident’s preferred methods. Kelly was also amazing to work with during the one minor noise issue we did have with a new neighbor. Within days, the issue was resolved. I was saddened to leave this property after receiving a promotion at another university. Because of the caring folks all around, it almost made me cry to say goodbye. The Stevenson Lane staff will always receive top regards in my mind!

I just signed my contract with the apartment. I visited a lot of apartments to find my family a great place to live. And Stevenson Lane Apartments is just what I want. The location, the neighbor, the surrounding facilities, etcQuite good! I can not help to move in.

I have lived in here for 3 months. The Stevenson Lane Apartments is very suitable for our family. The location, the neighbor, the surrounding facilities, etc. Especially, there have a 10 points elementary school. And Stevenson Lane Apartments is just what I want.Quite good!

My husband and I were in a time crunch when we moved back to MD. We unexpectedly popped into the leasing office and the manager Kelly was super friendly and was able to take us on a tour right away. She answered all my silly questions with a smile and was so helpful. We decided that this was going to be our new home!I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Stevenson Lane. We have a beautiful apartment that was completely renovated. Its a quiet neighborhood and theres rarely an issue finding a parking spot, which is rare to find for an apartment complex! Whenever we have a maintenance problem, the team responds immediately and are very friendly!! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Shout out to Kelly, Tom, and Juan for doing an awesome job!

Very nice people in the office, friendly neighbors, renovated, and safe. As a college student its not the typical apartments, but I enjoy the adult atmosphere to transition into, as well as easy to find parking.

This is a warm and friendly community. The stuff are glad to help with you. There is a very good elementary school nearby, just across the road. The apartment is suitalble for my familly, and we love it!

The community is nice and quite, and Kelly in the front office is incredible. The maintainance crew is very friendly and helpful and responds to any issue very quickly.

I have lived here for about 2 years and I am now going to move out due to some cons of Stevenson Lane apartments. So lets start with those; Some of the big problems is that they dont offer month to month leases and if they offer a short term lease, it is ridiculously priced now. There has always been construction the past two years- from the whole building shaking cause of rooftop construction to people poking holes through the walls because they were installing washer/driers. It has been ridiculous how many times I have been woken up cause of a loud noises- so yeah, the walls are paper thin. The bathroom has no form of ventilation which should be more of a priority because there is absolutely no way for the water to evaporate; causing moldly walls and tiles. The stairs are steep and creeky, so you can hear who comes and goes.But there are SOME good stuff, such as the management always being on top of small problems (like tube light going out, heating not working, toilet not flushing properly). They helped me almost every step of the way transitioning from home to college. It is not typical college student community, it is more family orientated. It is also a 5-7min walk from the university, a even shorter walk to the bus stop for the university, and close by to royal farms and other bus stops into the city. Overall, when it comes down to it, would of lived here even if i knew all the cons, than over pay for an apartment near the university (reason again, why im leaving)

Handsdown the maintenance manager goes above and beyond. Maintenance could never be a complaint that I have at Stevenson Lane . One can image how much this adds to residing Stevenson Lane

The machines in the laundry room are very small and practically every week one is not working.The first day I moved in their was a giant roach dead on the carpet. I have seen mice in my apartment, food in my pantry had holes bitten into it and I found mouse poop in one of my closets. I have had several occasions where water starts leaking from the ceiling in my bathroom, and sometimes weird yellowish stuff drips from the ceiling after a shower because they have no fan in the bathrooms. The noise from other neighbors is horrendous and it does not even seem like they are trying to be loud, the floors and walls are just really thin and do not absorb the sound. The windows they have cause a really bad draft and let in lots cold in the winter time.

The buildings have an odor. They need to replace the carpet.
