I have stayed here 2 to 3 times a year since 2009 except for 2020. I was excited to return and the hotel didn’t disappoint. The staff was warm and welcoming. My room was spotless. A barking dog next door on my second night was unexpected. Immediately the front desk gave me a new room and two gentlemen arrived to help me move. After settling in to my new room I realized I had forgotten something. No worries - a quick call and they brought it to me. Of course I will be back to my favorite hotel in north Baltimore - see you soon and thank you for a delightful weekend!

Average Sheraton hotel. Quaint with decent ambiance in the lobby. No complimentary breakfast here. Omelet costs 14.00 as a price reference. Exercise room available, and the rooms are average. My linens were not well cleaned. Parking is across the street and hotel will validate your parking ticket 🎟 for you. I heard kids running around and dogs barking in the middle of the night. They must allow pets here.

The room we stayed in was cute. The bed was oh so comfortable. I felt the bounce. The room was refreshing and clean. They validate parking which is a plus. Staff was great. Would recommend and would stay again. You can also walk to the mall and the Starbucks downstairs in the lobby is a plus.

The stay here was fine. No major complaints. The bed and pillow were comfortable. Compared to other hotels, the king room seemed smaller and definitely no frills. The bathroom was ok. Overall it just seems a little aged. Also, as others have mentioned - location does matter. There is noise from the mall - specifically a lot of cars racing up and down the parking deck and some sirens, so not a quiet intersection.The location in comparison to the mall is wonderful, with any kind of amenity or store in walking distance, though safety of actually walking is questionable.There is a fee to park overnight at this hotel.A nice surprise was the coffee shop inside - open long hours. Coffee, beer, other drinks and snacks. It made grabbing coffee before leaving super convenient.

All I have to say is im from Boston driving to Florida for a big move and I notice this beautiful hotel and just had to stop!...beautiful area and the hotel itself was amazing! The dining/bar area was amazing go to Brittney or ask for her! Definitely made my day better not from MD so all the stores closed early aka bar but where I was staying was still open and she made our stay even better thank u guys and to brittney! Definitely coming again

I know the Sheratons are typically older and this one is no different. The location is great, can walk to restaurants and shopping. The bathrooms are dated and definitely could use good deep cleanings. Our air conditioning was not working in our room correctly and I kept turning it down, hoping, until I got to 62 n I gave up. The refrigerator also wasnt cold and the dial was on 9, so I turned it to 10 then it froze my bottle of water and sandwich 😅 no happy medium I guess. The people were super nice. All in all not the best but not the worst!

Positive: The staff was really nice Negative: I did not spend this night at the hotel although I was charged because the reservation was incorrect. I stayed the following two nights. The staff was wonderful however the beds were sagging, furniture stains & hair causing an anxiety attack.

We had an awful night at this hotel. They put us in a room next to where the employees get ready for work. The room next to us 400 did not have a number on the door. People were in there after 11 and were very noisy. Again at 5:00 am more people talking, laughing and playing music. When we knocked and asked them to be quiet they replied “it ain’t a boom box - we’re just getting ready for work”. Why would the employee room be near a guest room? No response from hotel over our complaint. I’m very upset and now tired as well. Awful stay.

First let me begin by saying that the staff was excellent. The hotel smelled and the rooms were filthy. I had a bug crawling on me in my sleep and woke up to a different bug on my pillow. Unfortantely, I cannot recommend this location to anyone, nor will I be returning. Going to cancel my reservations for October.

Hotel was very nice and staff is friendly.3 star review because of 2 reasons.... 1st reason is parking is $12 a day which I feel should be included in the price you pay for the stay. 2nd reason is that the restaurant downstairs was nice but feel the staff wasnt that great at all. And the food was eh at best. I had eggs benedict and the english muffin tastes cheap and stale and sauce tasted like it came from a can.

Positive: New room was fine. But had to ask to be moved. Negative: Had to change rooms because the heat/ac was not working (room was 88degrees) and the toilet overflowed. Also now have to pay for parking and WiFi. First time in 5 years of staying there. Staff was not overly accommodating.

Lovely hotel with nice landscaping. Unfortunately their housekeeping staff was down to a minimum. They did not have the room serviced from the night we arrived to the day we left. Waste basket wasnt emptied, towels were not replaced, etc. That being said, at home we dont empty the waste baskets daily, change the bed linens daily or change the towels daily. We were there 3 days. The halls, lobby, entrances, etc were still looking clean each day even though the area was under assault from chicadas. The front desk staff were lovely and were all masked. Clientele were not required to be masked & were on the honor system as to being vaccinated.There was a $75 charge per stay for our dog which we knew about in advance.

It was...meh. I rate the comfort of the room by the temperature. I like to sleep in the cold, the room never got there. Who puts an thermastat directly under the vent in which the cold air blows out. The slat in the vent goes down ward. The thermostats kicks off as soon as it feels the cold air it a certain temperature, thus my room never getting cold enough to sleep in. Would I recommend this place? No. Would I stay here again? No.It says attach a photo so others can see. I did so you can observe the placement. But it doesnt show up on my review.

Very Poor. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come to front desk to check in. Didn’t want to put my bag down bc there were two dead roaches on the floor in lobby. I was charged $13 for WiFi and then they tried to charge me twice for parking - front desk staff barely communicative. No uniform or way to tell who works there. Room was very hot and thermostat didn’t work. Gross hotel. Do not recommend.

Positive: Location Negative: The hotel rooms were very far from the elevator, both rooms had dripping faucet, the restaurant was awful. The waitress talked to guest at the bar instead of assisting patrons (took 2 hours to get food) and some of the food was spoiled.

Outstanding service and comfort! Second to none except a lack of vallet or easy access to the building in the rain from the garage. Handicapped people (speaking for myself) have to endure a further walk from parking back inside. The restaurant needs to open back up....I feel its a great value add and I expect Sheraton to do something about it soon!

Beds were too small and mattress was terrible, lumpy, unsupportive and sunken in center. No microwave just one shared in the lobby. Had lots of old antebellum art work which could be considered insensitive. The hallways were very dark. The carpet was dirty and stained. The garage while attached you still had to walk outside and around the hotel van which was inconveniently parked right up against the garage exit door.

Positive: The hotel location is across from the mall and convenient for food delivery. Its also clean and has sanitation stations throughout. The staff are friendly and guest services respond quickly. Bed and pillows are comfy. Also the tv has streaming channels. Negative: The walls are thin. Precautions due to covid 19 have affected restaurant service. The restaurants and club levels are closed at this time, but getting food delivery here is easy.

I decided to come to the Sheraton After being turned away at another hotel after already booking and paying. I think was still coming down from panic mode when I approached the front desk for help. I was almost immediately out at ease. The men at the front desk were so kind and so helpful. It was everything I needed after a stressful experience. I especially worried as I prepared for this trip as I would be staying by myself for the weekend, but I felt safe and at home here. It was such a nice experience and I am so thankful for the kindness from all of the staff.

Its a hotel that is friendly to pets, and my sister decided to bring her two Pomeranians down for a visit and to help me move, so this was a good place to stay after a long hard day of moving. The service here is wonderful, Joshua and Jason were extremely helpful in getting me a very nice room at a decent price. I have not looked at my hotel bill yet so this review May change. but I will say for now that the only bad part of the experience was that another guest in the hallway next to ours was probably smoking either in their room or outside right before I came out. I thought maybe they put dogs in smokers on the same level, but no, smoking is not allowed in any hotel room in Maryland. I wish Id have brought my bathing suit to enjoy the pool, however maybe Ill be able to go back for a visit again and a dip later.

Woke up at 3am stuck to my sheets. Thanks goodness it was only gum and that it didnt get in my hair. Spent an hour pulling gum off my arm hair and shoulders. They charged me ~$75 for the night which was 50% off which is why they get one star back. They still charged me a $75 extra fee for dog cleaning fee which seems silly since my room was already dirty.

The hotel was clean and staff was overall satisfactory with occasional staff that went out of their way to be pleasant and very accommodating. Not a big fan of being in the city and this place was all concrete and brick with the occasional surprise like in the central Courtyard with a fabulous garden with the splash of a Waterfall with koi pond space. One plus about the hotels location in the city was that there were several delightful restaurant choices that delivered for those wishing to eat in . The first disappointing standard thing one expects of a hotel is that everything appears to be ala carte in that you pay for every little thing. An example of this is the parking that is an additional fee that is not factored into the quoted price of your stay. To the hotels credit, they did waive the fee once we complained about it. A major disappointing feature for us was the poor access to the indoor pool. It was not the easiest to find because you had to go through the gym to get to the pool. There was at least 16 steps down to the pool but they do have a wheelchair lift. Unfortunately the door safety mechanism does not latch very easily so that if the previous person does not take special care to close it properly it will not do so automatically and therefore is unusable without assistance. The next disappointing feature was there are not steps into the pool. One must be athletic enough to be able to climb a very short ladder to get in or out. They do have a battery-operated Lift to lower people into the water and extract them but it was not functional for our visit. I was amazed to see that the pool had an electrically operated cover which is unusual in its luxuriousness but the scummy water on the 2 foot section left exposed in the full open position was very unappealing.

Positive: Very comfy bed. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. I like having a small fridge in the room. Negative: We arrived at night and the entrance to the hotel is not well lit and difficult to find even with our GPS. Also, be aware that there is an additional charge for parking in the garage overnight.

Nice hotel and our room was nice, clean. My only complaint is that I requested a quiet room, but our last night there, I had to call the front desk twice because a group of people were playing very loud music and yelling. I called once at 11:30pm and again an hour later. Normally, I wouldnt complain but I had to be up at 3:30am to catch a flight.

Josh I think the Director of operations.... he is the best when it comes to customer service. I can’t tell you how NICE he was. I stayed there about 2 weeks back and I forgot to write a review. He was extremely friendly and gave me refund for the night the staff didn’t let me in since they didn’t find my name in the reservation but I’m not complaining. He handled the situation in the best professional way possible. He is the best fit for his role. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Forget to tell you that you have to pay for parking on website. When we got here the front desk told us that it’s a $50 inconvenience fee. Then told us it’s 32 dollars for parking and we can go in and out as we please. Once I got billed an extra $100 the front desk lied and said she didn’t say that she said per day. Security banged on our door accused us of smoking and lied and said we was the only ones on floor. We let them in the roomTo check for smoking and when they realized it wasn’t us that was smoking Then they started to walk down the halls knocking on doors. But if we was the only people on the floor why did they start knocking on other doors. I would NEVER spend my money here again. They lie and over charge

Wores stay ever. Plan to get no sleep.My husband and I booked a king size bed. When we got there we were told they only had a room with a double bed. We got to the room decided to go to bed. We had to check out 30 minutes later. Could not fall asleep because the doors are thin could hear people in the hallway. We could also hear the noise from the malls parking lot that was being cleaned. We went to the front desk informed the lady that we were checking out. She did even ask why I had to tell her why we were checking out .she didnt even seem like she cared she didnt offer us another room. The sad thing is she knew exactly what we were talking about when we told her about the noise. Stay here if you dont plan on sleeping.

Author Hughes or “AJ” was very rude as well! He disrespected my sister many times as we tried to explain to him the situation that occurred! The stay at Sheraton Marriott North Townson was very underwhelming. This is truly amateur hour here. There seems to be a huge inconsistency in service here.We went 4 days with out room unserviced even after we requested it multiple times. When they finally did get around servicing it, the didnt refill the bathroom essentials. From toilet paper, to shampoo and new sheets, we had to call the front desk. The next day, there were around 20 housekeepers on my floor cleaning all the room, but they STILL forgot the toilet papers, bodywash and shampoo. 🤦‍♂️Restaurant was not in service due to covid-19 so we cant ding them for that, but it is across the street from the mall with plenty of food options like Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs and alike.Front desk is nice and courteous. Thats probably the only reason why they arent getting one star. (assuming hospitality is out of their jurisdiction).Hotel is clean and well presented.Not sure if the Starbucks employee is under hotel management but he clearly does not like serving coffee... Or his job... Or other humans. He lacks personality, but who cares? Just get me my coffee and sandwich right? Well, every morning my order of coffee and sandwich was met with sighs followed by a reluctant look as he drops out of his bar chair. I know... Life is so difficult.Minor issue... The TV in my room has a nice welcoming message that says, Hello Robert. Unfortunately no one in my party is named Robert.In the end.. The hotel experience was a disappointment to the Marriott brand and I hope they can improve for future guests.

Originally booked at the Royal Sonesta and wow night and day. Staff here was so friendly professional and accommodating unlike at my original booking!! The hotel was clean cute and three times less than my original booking. great pool and gym and close to everything but overall the staff made it worth it thank you they saved my daughters bday from near ruin at the sonesta.

I was treated as a valued guest from the moment I arrived in the hotel lobby. The Christmas decorations and cookies and hot beverage was a special added touch. The staff pleasant and was very helpful. They reminded me to get my parking coupon validated and inquired if there was anything I needed assist with. I was even allowed an extension on my check out time which was greatly appreciated before getting back on the road. More hotels should take tips from your staff that worked on Dec 21-22nd.

I brought my group around midnight and he made our group (of 10 people) wait for almost an hour to complete our booking (even though we made reservations much earlier). Worse experience ever. Traveled from Virginia to Maryland for funeral. The room was absolutely dirty and dusty. Baseboard in bathroom dirty, the refrigerator was dirty. My daughter and I was scratching our back and arms and woke up with red flat spot on pillow, bedbug. I informed front desk and received no assistance. This was my best hotel experience ever. It is not due to the amenities but to the service. Everyone from house keeping to maintenance to the front desk was amazing. The staff was graceful, friendly, professional, helpful, patient and made me feel welcomed. I felt like a part of a community.
