I cant recommend this gym highly enough. It is a perfect place for people of all experience levels and goals, ranging from competition fighters, those seeking self defense skills, and people who are just looking for a new way to exercise. I came in with no boxing experience, and the coaches are just as good with someone like me as they seem with people who have been fighting their entire lives. The culture is great and really makes you want to return. For whatever reason youre consider boxing, kickboxing, or BJJ you cant go wrong here.

All the coaches are very personable and extremely knowledgable. They really do cater to every member and make sure you can progress to the next stage of training safely and confidently. They are super enthusiastic about your success in the sport and really do a great job of keeping you motivated. The classes are great. I’m so focused on learning the combinations that I don’t even realize I’m getting a work out.

We were invited by a friend to try out American Muay Thai. They do 5 free lessons so what did we have to lose? My daughter came just to observe but right from the beginning Jessie invited her to join in. She is shy but Jessie is such a great person that she jumped right in.He spent the whole class teaching her the essential footwork and basic moves. She was hooked. The kids are so welcoming she would come just for all her new friends but the fact she is learning a discipline that will help protect her and give her confidence is all a Dad needs. We are a few weeks in now and she loves it and is improving. Stephen and Katrina do a great job coaching everyone from the newbies to some kids that are very skilled. Everyone is welcome and has a great time. The adult class meets outside so they can better social distance. They are into this and you can tell the coaches are doing a great job.

My lady and I joined this gym recently because she’s interested in kickboxing and I’ve enjoyed it. The coaches give clear instruction, helped me see that there are other aspects to fighting, and the owner isn’t someone he tries to swindle folks out of their money (which is big for me). I asked about private lessons, he answered my questions, and he instructed me to wait at least a month until I was more knowledgeable so I wouldn’t be wasting my money. From what I’ve seen so far it’s all good quality; they even offered both of us FIVE free classes with REAL instruction for those who are beginners.

Our son has been going here for almost a year. They have amazing kids program. We tried a few different types of martial arts before deciding to join AMT and this has been a perfect fit. This is my new favorite place to work out! As a fitness enthusiast one cannot get a better work out anywhere else. The Kick Fit and Kickboxing classes are fun. And you dont need to worry about feeling intimidated if this is your first time trying out kickboxing. The coaches are incredibly skilled and very positive, which translates into an atmosphere of camaraderie among the clientele. Also, the owner Jesse Swain is a true leader! No doubt his business will thrive and everyone in the area will start coming to his new location.

Coach Jesse and his staff are very welcoming. There realist, helpful, and extremely patient. I was so nervous when I came for 3 days of trial, and in those 3 days I felt as if I had been coming for years. They make you fit right in. Its not just a gym its a family unitc completing it even with his mascot his dog. Its very kid friendly, recommended for those trying to lose weight without miracle drugs or surgeries. This gym is 💯

I LOVE THIS GYM! I just started doing muay thai a few weeks ago, and if youre considering getting into it, this is the gym for you! In just a few weeks Ive gained a lot of muscle mass and I can tell Im stronger and have much more stamina. Its very inclusive of all levels and genders; as a woman Ive never felt intimidated or uncomfortable. Everyone is there to get better and work on themselves, but we all come together to support each other and kick a**. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. I recommend AMT to everyone I know!!

Ive been training in Muay Thai at various gyms up and down the coast since 2008 and Coach Jesse is by far the best Ive worked with, without question - his extensive knowledge comes from real life experience and success in competition, and his accessible coaching style has made me confident in my ability enough to actually get in a ring and fight. I absolutely love this fighting gym! My hubby and kids come here! Very much a family oriented gym. Classes for all ages. If youre a loner even better. IT DOESNT MATTER! Just like Jesse uses the quote from Johnny Lawrence (Cobra Kai) Everybodys welcome whether your a freak a nerd. It doesnt matter everybody needs to get tough.Obviously I love what this place has done for my family. Has helped with confidence tremendously. Especially being bullied regardless of school,work, this world is getting crazier and crazier by the day. Really, compared to other places the price is reasonable and fair. UNLIMITED CLASSES!!! Great coaches, helpers... Take the time to actually recognize you, your form. They care to teach!!! The kids class is one of the cutest things youll ever see. Mom approved. Absolutely love Jesse, Vlad, and Monroe. But Im still getting to know everyone. Like I said theyre all fantastic.
