This location has been incredibly supportive in my transition between services and smartphones. I am enjoying the process of learning my new android based phone. Not only that, Anna Miranda has helped me navigate going through insurance when I unfortunately cracked my screen. The process of getting my phone fixed was fluid and I had my phone back within 24 hours, as opposed to paying a giant deductible for a new phone. It is nice to know the perks of device coverage and all the other incentives involved with using Verizon.

My daughter and I had an amazing experience last night at this location. Chris was OVER THE TOP with all aspects of customer service. My teen wanted an Iphone and I wanted a Droid...he made the process seamless and fun. Chris is smart, savvy, kind, and dedicated!! Hey yall!! I had some a scenarios Ive been trying to get fixed for a couple weeks and Chris solved the ALL! I was able to get a refund back to me that Ive been trying to get for weeks, Im getting my hotspot replaced for free thats on the way to me now and last but not least he got me to get a phone after the slight disaster from another person. Poor experience with sales agent Chris who apparently is also the store manager. Very disappointed with the lack of information I was given when I went to upgrade my phone. I had a promo credit on my account which he says he didn’t see when accessing my account. This promo credit was removed after i paid off my old phone and upgraded to a new one. Chris told me my bill would stay the same, but now with the promo removed (which I had gotten for trading in my phone) my bill has gone up by $40. He also charged me a set up fee and did not ask me if I wanted him to set it up for me, and did not tell me that I would be charged.Even after I complained that I lost $360 in promo credit and that my bill has changed, he called and said unfortunately Verizon is not able to do anything for the mistake he made. Poor customer service and I would be wary about dealing with him in the futureI am guessing this is probably because they are an authorized user and not the actual store, they didn’t know I had a promo credit. Instead of fixing their mistake, they will let the customer suffer. Worst customer service in my opinion. I never leave negative reviews unless absolutely warranted

Came in to upgrade my phone last week and I got the pleasure to work with one of the associates that work there. He was a professional that day and even when I came back for a situation with my phone that he warned me about. As silly as it was he got my phone fixed again with no hassle or fuss and quick might I add. He transferred all my stuff and got it set up how I needed that day and he did the same today... The young representative does not know what he’s talking about. I asked the rep “Which location handles fios service?” He told me to go to one location in Timonium, they handle fios questions and concerns” that location in Timonium recommended by the rep was the wrong location. Unbelievable.

Brought my girlfriend here two days ago to purchase a new iPhone 12 as her existing iPhone 7+ was having persistent issues. She was unable to login to her Verizon account and couldn’t make the purchase online, so that’s why we came in the store. We were met by salesman John G. who informed us of the current Buy One Get One (BOGO) financing promotion for iPhone 12. We returned the next day along with my mother who would be the recipient of the second iPhone 12, upgrading from her current iPhone XS. This would have been a 5-star review as John G. treated us professionally, was attentive and helpful. However, this review has dropped to 2 stars as I am very much not appreciative of undisclosed fees by salesmen. After having brought the new phones for my mother and girlfriend, John G. then began the process of transferring the backed up data of their old phones from the cloud to the new phones. He also went ahead and applied the Gadget Guard Black Ice Liquid Screen Protector to each phone that he convinced them was better than a tempered glass screen protector (I’m not convinced of that, but my mother and girlfriend were interested in trying this different screen protection as it appealed to them not having a separate layer over the actual touchscreen.) I thought John G. went ahead and did all of this as a courtesy and sign of great customer service, and that it was their standard practice at this retailer. However, this was not the case. I discovered at the end of the process when John G. sped quickly through the final tally of charges due, which included a $35 “setup fee” per phone for a total of $70 in additional fees to simply transfer the data from the cloud, something we’ve always done ourselves, and to apply the liquid glass coating which anyone can do themselves in a matter of minutes. When I asked John G. to explain these charges, he told me they were for the “touch of a professional.” Now that might have been fine for people with plenty of cash to spare, or people who simply wanted that convenience, or who aren’t savvy enough to do these simple tasks on their own once arriving at home. But the problem here is that the fees were never once mentioned until the final tally, after the service had already been forced without any request (or choice, for that matter) by us. Had he disclosed the fees up front, I never would have allowed him to proceed. The whole process from consultation to payment took around an hour and a half in the store, and my mother was feeling unwell so she wanted to be done and get home ASAP. Of this time, only about 20 minutes was the actual setup, mostly because it takes time for the data restore loading bar to finalize. If not for my mother feeling unwell, I would have told John G. that either the $70 in “setup fees” needed to be waived or he could take the new iPhones back and cancel the whole arrangement so we could go to a Verizon corporate store the next day instead. And of course once he printed the final contract and bill of sale, although the phones were returnable within 14 days, naturally the setup fees are non-refundable. Needless to say, this ordeal left a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak, and I will not be returning to this location or any other Cellular Sales location in the future, nor will my mother or girlfriend. Again, this could have been a 5-star review, but apparently making an extra $70 for just minutes of simple, unrequested work was an opportunity that couldn’t be passed up by the salesman. Note that I’ve never been to an “authorized Verizon retailer” before. We happened to be across the street at the cleaners two days ago when we spotted the massive “Verizon” sign, only to realize this was not an official Verizon store later on, but willing to go through the process with them as I liked dealing with John G. on our first meeting.

Worked with Jamar Lewis on 30 March and he was absolutely AMAZING!!! We were there to help my mother pick out a new phone because the one she had was not meeting her needs. Jamar worked with us for over 2 hours showing my mother different types of phones, the features and especially how to work the settings to make everything brighter, larger and more easily viewable due to her failing eyesight. Jamar talked my mother through the many options available, listened to her concerns and made recommendations on what might work for her, and was just incredibly invaluable in making the experience a good one for my mother. She felt her concerns were heard and addressed. She said this was the first time that she felt her needs were being addressed when selecting a phone. Jamar walked us through the various promotions and discounts available at the time and we ended up with Samsung Tab As for both parents. If you need a new phone or tablet Jamar is there on Saturdays and is an incredible person to work with. I know my parents will be going back in a week to talk about getting my father a new phone that is easier for him to use as well. It will be the go-to place for my parents know when it comes to their electronic needs. Kudos to Jamar.

He reviewed all the cell phone plans with me and helped me pick out the best one for me and my budget. Not only did he set up my new phone for me but when we were running short on time and I had to leave to go to a hair appointment, Ty continued to set up my phone for me and then DROPPED IT OFF to me at my hair appointment!! Outstanding experience getting my new phone. I usually hate going to Verizon, but this location and TY have changed that. I will never go to a different location again. TY was beyond helpful. Incredibly nice and knowledgeable. It takes awhile to transfer all data to 2 devices and hash out all of the details of a new contract. Throughout the entire process TY was helpful, knew exactly what he needed to do, in addition to being personable and funny. He really went above and beyond. A friend went with me and afterwards we couldnt stop talking about how TY was so nice and made a normally tedious process so enjoyable. 6 stars out of 5!

Chris Tyler was extremely helpful to my husband and me when we came in looking for information on new iPhones and plans since we were considering changing from AT&T to Verizon. My phone was damaged and needed to be replaced. I found a Verizon store and was assisted by Darla. She was knowledgeable, and extremely helpful in showing me options I had for replacing the device, showing me the special offers and getting the new devices configured for immediate use. I would recommend everyone who comes to this store, York Road, in Baltimore to ask for her. She made the whole experience a pleasure. Thank you, Darla!!

I was skeptical about coming to a retailer but my experience has been wonderful. Much better service than the corporate location. Great sales lady who was sweet and kind. Most importantly she knew what she was doing. I will tell all my friends to come here.

I am a person who is reluctant to change. I mentioned some issues that I was facing to the Verizon representative. She offered some recommendations to which I was initially skeptical about. I listened to her and she listened to me. She was thorough in her recommendations and extremely patient. I did not feel pressured to make a quick decision. I accepted her recommendations and have been more than pleased with the results.

My sales team leader was extremely helpful today. She took a few hours out of her day to help us with our iCloud problems and also buying a new phone. The store was very clean and she took so much time to help us. This was the friendliest experience I have ever had at Verizon. I will definitively be back soon. Nick Binder provided outstanding service to a very frustrated customer. He set up and activated my device even though he wasnt the rep who sold it to me. He transferred all of my data and set up the blue tooth in my car. Outstanding service! Adam provided excellent service as well but the device wasnt in stock, so thats when Nick helped me.
