In store service has always been top notch at the Apple store. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to how packed the store can get. Weekends around new product launches can turn into long lines. It takes the spontaneous art of shopping back a notch unless you re strictly browsing. If you park in lot C on the ground level, you are at the closest door to the store.Making an appointment ahead of time works best. Staff is always friendly and they can do paperless transactions.

Tried to get advice on buying MacBook Air vs Pro. I don’t know much about computers and I knew WAY more than the girl who was helping me. She actually gave me false info to. Would not recommend if you need help understanding what each product has to offer.

The genius bar person, said my 27”, 2020 iMac memory can’t be upgrade, that was wrong!!!They restored my iMac for no reason and my desktop folder from iCloud that was sync with my other devices was deleted. They wrong attitude made me so nervous!!! And I lost so many of my data only because the woman who works in this apple store genius bar didn’t know that I can easily upgrade the memory and she didn’t want to accept her mistake even wehen I explained to her that I was told from apple support that this iMac can be upgraded!!

I took my laptop immediately to the apple store after minor water damage. They literally gave me an appointment days later and showed no concern for minimizing the damage. After paying tens and thousands of dollars for apple products over the years, this kind of service is just unacceptable. Luckily I was able to take it to another computer shop where they immediately opened it and cleaned and dried it so it was not totally ruined. Unlikely to purchase any more apple products.

The people are very nice but I don’t like how Apple is doing appointments now. I tried to buy a watch and I couldn’t because I didn’t have a shopping appointment. After I made one for the next day, it was fine. Be sure to make an appointment online ahead of time!

5/5 for Ryan3/5 for everything elseI came to Baltimore to start a road trip. Unfortunately, I was robbed and mugged my first night in town. With no cards, cash or phone, I was hopeless. I called customer support, and the guy told me to come here. He failed to tell me that I needed an appointment just to shop here (who does that?).I get there around 2pm on 5/23/21, the guy working the queue (essentially a bouncer) told me I needed to make an appointment and come back after 5pm. He never made me an appointment. I spent $40 in ride share for one way there. I left and then returned back, spending more money on ride share. Get there at 5:45pm (Ride share was 30 minutes late). The lady working the front sounded frustrated with even talking to me after I told her about the first guy not making my reservation, and that it was an emergency.The queue guy was already gone, but I recognized another guy I saw from earlier. It was Ryan. Ryan was really one of the most helpful people I’ve ever met. He definitely understood my situation and knew I had to be helped. Waste of time. Useless. Atleast 16 employees in the store and none of them know what they are doing. Even if they did they still wouldn’t help and just sit on their own phones. Was told to come In early for an appointment and I showed up 15 min early and told me they couldn’t help me. Employees only job is to say they can’t help. (Also notice how no one will respond to these reviews like a good business should)

Kiemoni and Phoenix are the BEST!!!!!! Thank you guys so much! Ask for themIf you go! My brother and I got two new phones and a ton of accessories. They walked us through the pros and cons and answered all of our questions patiently. They showed us how to use every single item. The service here generally sucks but these guys keep me coming back to Apple!

Some of the staff are really not friendly or knowledgeable. You arent welcomed into the store, instead a mask is shoved at you by some guy with headphones in. The girl that helped me could not figure out how to return my iPhone and was unprofessional about it.

One star is a compliment. The agent at the store Jason provides horrible customer service. He’s arrogant, rude and attempts to belittle his customers. I took my phone in for repair. It took over a week to get my phone back and Apple never repaired it. Now they want to place a hold on my credit card in order to send a replacement. Absolutely not! My next phone will be an android.

Today they were very rude ,disrespectful and called me a liar about damage to the computer power cord that had wear and tear under a year. Jeff said it was coveraged yesterday and sent me an email for pick up today at no charge for the replacement cord, today a lady told me I had to pay for it, showed her the email and her supervisor starting be disrespectful. Long story short I got the computer replacement cord at no charge but I will never go to that Apple store again!

Due to COVID 19, you can get in by appointment only. Once done, easy in and out. Placed an online order and picked up my purchase fast. While I was there, staff provided opportunity to purchase accessories and answered questions. Knowledgeable, courteous, fast.

Actually quite rude. I have been going here for years. This time I was told I had to wear a mask. I was Intrupted by an apple associate while talking to another shopper and was asked if I had a mask my reply no Im fully vaccinated showed my Vax card. I was told I had to put on a mask regardless.

Not a fan of how they only allow you to check in 5 minutes before your appointment. The lady checking people in was extremely rude and unhelpful. Once I got in, I was told I wasnt allowed to wear a neck gator (which is a perfectly acceptable face covering) and forced me to put on a cheap paper mask.

I ordered my new phone online. I went to the store to pick it up. At the store, I was helped immediately. We started setting up my phone, but for some reason it wasn’t activating. The gentleman that first started helping me asked Dominic, who I assume is the manager, what he thought and Dominic took over from there. Instead of sending me to Verizon to work it out, Dominic called Verizon himself and went through the whole activation process for me. I was able to leave with my brand new phone fully activated (which didn’t look possible at first). Thank you so much Dominic!

The worsttt. Just wanted to take a look at the phone options to see what the colors looked like before making a $1000 purchase and couldn’t go in the mostly-empty store w/o an appt. Oh, but if I was making a purchase then and there I would’ve been allowed in. Amazing. Just want your $$ without respect for the customer experience.

Apple does many things right. Operating under adverse Covid conditions puts a serious burden on retailers. Apple handles it well. The store and staff do a great job of meeting COVID guidelines. I have a couple of suggestions for you if you need to come to any Apple store. Make an appointment. This is crucial to a satisfactory visit. Show up no more then 10 minutes early. And, understand we are all trying to operate under a great amount of pressure. The staff here is pleasant and they deserve to dealing with pleasant customers.

Worst customer service. The genius bar ran a bunch of tests on my computer and did not find anything wrong with it. Then proceeded to erase my computer to see if that would help. Now my computer wont turn on and they want to send it out to start replacing hardware that would cost over $400. The customer service representative that I spoke to was incredibly rude and unhelpful.

Customer service is not part of the business plan with Apple. Took my 23 day old iphone 12 to this store because it wouldnt power on. They took my phone with the SIM card. Returned the next day after they stated they replaced the display. Attempted to restart the phone after getting home (1 hour away) to find the SIM card was not reinstalled. In fact, they didnt replace the display, they replaced the phone with a like new phone. After contacting Apple support and my carrier and this Apple Store, the representative refused to provide his name and title. Stated they would provide another SIM card if I drove to the store to pick it up. Fortunately for Apple, my local Verizon rep provided a new SIM card and now after a week without a functioning phone and 20+ hours on the phone with Apple and Verizon, not to mention, I can use it. The following day i contacted Apple again for compensation. They offered 1 set of $200 airpods (Gen2) from the Apple Store. Walmart offers this exact product for $130.00. WOW....Apple I now know why you share only a small percentage of the world market. With the kind gesture from Verizon, they saved the network account. As for Apple....well you will share even less of the world market. If i could give zero stars, I certainly would.

Went for a replacement under warranty apple pen..the lady was great very patient and friendly.we had issues with 2 new pens syncing with my daughters ipad.finally the 3rd new one worked flawlessly..usually very fast in and out when having an appointment was there for a hour but was helped immediately.highly recommended thank you

I dropped off my phone for a battery replacement. They tested and inspected my phone upon receiving it. My phone received a documented clean bill of health. They knowingly returned a broken phone to me, hoping I would not notice - and charged me $49. Absolute disgrace. Shameful conduct on the part of Apple store. Stay far away from the Apple store in Towson.

You are not able to shop at this store without a reservation so don’t show up unless you want to be confronted by a very aggressively rude bouncer at the door. I have never been treated more hatefully by a rep of any business.I will never shop at an apple store again and I suggest that everyone avoid this location.

I have been a faithful Apple customer for years and have spent thousands of dollars on Apple’s products. Apple does not value their customers. In March, my iPhone screen broke, around the time the warranty had expired. My parents and I are in a high-risk category for Coronavirus, so being responsible, when we heard the early reports, we self-isolated. As soon as I felt safe to do so, today I went to Best Buy, where I had purchased the phone. I figured, given the situation, that Best Buy may honor my warranty. They sent me to Apple.After waiting for hours in line, the polite Apple representative told me he had no authority and I had to CALL Apple about the warranty. Otherwise, Apple would charge me $150.00 for the repair. Why I had to CALL Apple when I was STANDING in the actual store in front of a representative made no sense to me. Anyway, I followed instructions. Hours later, after waiting on hold and speaking with one of Apples agents, a senior representative denied my request to honor the warranty insisting that most customers know to call Apple, not Best Buy. I didnt. Why would I call Apple when I had bought the phone at Best Buy? The senior advisor proceeded to question me. Why didnt you mail in the phone? I had no idea I could mail in my phone. I have only ever dealt with Best Buy. I was further told, Its best to call Apple. Best Buy has generic policies. They treat all customers the same.Best Buy does treat all customers the same, with respect. That is why I will no longer purchase Apple computers, but will continue to shop at Best Buy. I imagine Best Buy is moving millions of dollars of Apple products. Why would Apple discourage me from going to the point of purchase? As a loyal Apple consumer I deserved an exception, or at least a professional explanation, not an interrogation.Keep in mind Gadget Guru will repair iPhone screens within 30 minutes for $100. The team at Gadget Guru is awesome! I hope this helps you. I will now avoid Apple whenever possible.

Very clean, diverse stores to choose from as well as places to eat as well. Security needs to be improved or enhanced in some way. After school hours and on weekends, young kids make it next to impossible to enjoy shopping there! I recommend getting there early and leaving before afternoon to avoid the disrespect and downright disgusting behavior of some young “kids”.

Ordered an iPad online with no issue and I picked the express delivery so I could be sure Id be off and home to receive it since it states you must be present. Thats fair, these products arent cheap. Got here the scheduled day....but all I got was a doorbell ring and an Apple giftbag hung on my doorknob. I thankfully saw the vehicle and was on my way outside as the employee was walking back to the truck.....but I was not comfortable with a very obviously labeled bag worth $800ish just hanging there unsupervised. I was under the assumption that it was being signed for and confirmed in a residents hands, but I guess not.....

They do not have a discernable line to stand in, and some employees are rude and condescending.After a verbal exchange, their security guard initiated a physical altercation and bent my iPhone after I was asked to leave.

I showed up ten minutes before my appointment and was told there were two people in front of me. After waiting for over an hour I asked someone how much longer it would be but they wouldnt check and just kept telling me they were sure someone would get to me shorty. After an hour and a half someone looked into it and it turns out the first person accidentally forgot to check me in when I got there, so they promised me I would be next. Fast forward another 45 minutes and I am still waiting and tell them I need to leave to go to work and someone had the balls to tell me patience is a virtue.

After being asked by their business team staff member that I prepay for a phone and an iPad before I came in, I went to pick it up the next day. They had no record of anything being prepaid and 90 minutes later, I finally had the phone that I could have just bought in 10 minutes. I ended up cancelling the iPad as they said they didnt have time to transfer data to it from the old device. Something similar happened 8 years ago when I bought several devices for a business. I ended up having to just call the Apple Store in NYC to have them do it since it was beyond the Towson business teams capacity. Back then, someone higher up at Apple called to apologize, saying that they were going to be restructuring their Towson team based because of numerous complaints. Im afraid the problem persists in 2020. I will add that these people were all genuinely very nice but I dont think they know what they are doing when it comes to execution to the point of the customer getting what they need.
