It was the worst experience I ever had with a business in general. Worst customer service he’s basically a scam. Told me he was going to fix my computer for $180 and it will take a week. One month later tells me he can’t fix it for that price and it will be over $250 and will take another month to fix. He is never up front and will try to sneak prices in the bill without you knowing. I wanted to abandoned this project and just get my computer back. After literally fighting with the business owner over the phone and having him hang up on me over 5 times to get him to explain why I’m still being charged for labor even though he can not fix my computer. His response “I opened it didn’t I” He still charged me for labor even know nothing was fixed. Was trying to charge me more money to put my computer back together in the exact “broken” shape it was before when I dropped it off. He’s a complete child and has no communication skills when talking to customers. Will scream and hang up the phone on you forcing you to call back multiple times. I felt like I was dealing with an emotional child instead of a business owner. Was made fun of over the phone. He will comment on the reviews left on google and just say I don’t remember you coming into my store. These kinds of people won’t succeed with true and honest business. That’s why he’s angry and doesn’t handle customer well at all. PLEASE I ADVISE ALL PEOPLE IN THE MARKET TO FIX THEIR COMPUTER HARDWARE TO NEVER PAY THIS BUSINESS A DIME. You will not be satisfied, you will be empty pocketed with your experience on the lower end. Be safe don’t do business with a person who doesn’t like customers. Just the cash in your pocket.

Get realistic prices and get better at the trade always had been given warnings, nonetheless tried to bring in a motherboard for a simple 15 minute repair with a heat-gun and some flux and the guy wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars and still didn’t understand what console i was bringing in. Very unknowledgeable about his trade, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, do not go to, most teenagers have more tech knowledge and most computers don’t need motherboard level repairs, you don’t need a place like this and when you do their outrageously priced. I will be buying a heat-gun and some flux on amazon for 35$ and have my console repaired in minutes not hours or days as this place has the slowest return I’ve ever come across.

Poor customer service and quality. After 3 months of minimal use, the hard drive they replaced failed. I was charged to replace the broken hard drive and the owner would not return my failed hard drive which contained my personal info on it (yes my own hard drive) without charging me for it! The owner was rude and argumentative when I brought up the idea that perhaps a reputable business would have replaced this for no charge, especially for a loyal customer. He disagreed and actually said, we dont want your kind of customer. So if you are a reasonable, kind person who would like quality work with high quality replacement parts, DO NOT go to Compatible Computers, the owner does not want your business. The computer was returned filthy (during COVID). Customer service, quality care, and reasonable reactions are truly important for continued business.

Was very helpful and nice. Helped us with the tools needed, and actually had the necessary supplies we were looking for. Let us borrow tool in store just to get apart laptop, with a hard to find screwdriver, and overall was a positive experience.

Fixed Laptop multiple times in a short period of time. My only complaint is one of the last times I went the new hard drive they gave me broke withen 2 weeks (it kept fragmenting and required constant defrags until it stopped all together). Other then that I think they are great

Yeah prices horrible and they dont even sell computers. Literally they have laptops if you want a good computer you should buy a desktop at Compatible Computers they have computers that can run 1000% faster and also laptops suck anyways unless its msi. Walmart sells their laptops for half the price and nothing is messed up like here. Also they are rude annoying and try to charge you as much as possible. Surprised how they pay their bill.

I was faced with an nearly impossible task: find a floppy disk drive today that connects via usb so that I could update the firmware for the only synthesizer on planet earth that provides non-sysex firmware updates that cannot be transferred through usb/midi ports using any known software. Having completely struck out at every other computer retailer, Compatible Computers delivered! The price was absolutely reasonable, the entire transaction was hassle-free from initial call through final sale, and I didnt have to wait to receive the drive from some faceless online seller. The product provided is excellent and the update and transfer procedures completed exactly as I described and needed. I was provided a free warranty against product defect (which I wont need to use given its quality and function), and the unit was tested live when I picked up. I have no reservations about going back for future needs. Well done sir, A+!

Really bad. Mistreated and disrespectful. Rude answers when ask questions about how to find a windows to install in my pc. Dont know the meaning of customer service. Not professional at all, argue with customers like they are selling bananas instead of computers services. Do not recomend at all. They focuse in charge money without explain you first and if u ask they yield on you like you have not rigth to ask about what ate you being chatged for.
