I couldnt be happier with my Wi-fi service and look forward to getting the Local 30+ cable service soon. The staff was very friendly and helpful, as were the people who installed my Wi-fi. (But please, next time make sure you only have professionals! The trainee obviously didnt know what he was doing or how to do it.)

I wonder who runs this and how can they be so careless. Their website is down from earlier this year. You can not pay the bills online for a company that provides internet!! And they charge people late fees for not billing on time. Its not easy for many people like me to make time for going to their store physically to pay internet bills. Over the phone payment is not something many people prefer at least I dont. There is huge wait time and then giving your card details to you-dont-know-who over phone always seemed less convenient and less safe to me. If you call them they dont want to acknowledge problems with their website although they will charge stupid late fees for back to back months. This is not good business practise.

$165 a month for gigabyte internet with no cap. Thats what you actually pay, after fees, and there are STILL regular outages after midnight, with no warning. They wouldnt have any customers at all if they werent the only thing available in some neighborhoods of Toledo. Its a predatory company. Were moving away, thank gods.

Most service people are good and decent, medium knowledge.The cable service itself is mostly ok.The internet service and cost has always left something to he desired.Too costly for the various services.The frequent internet loss, is getting unmanageable for the cost they charge.And now, theres even issues with guide accuracy when the internet is out, or malfunctioning.They need to lose about a million customers, to learn better service.

Went to store on Talmage Road to exchange defective remote control. Website clearly says store hours are 9 AM – 7 PM. Store was closed. Sign on the door said store opens at 10 AM. Wasted my time on a trip to a store and will have to go back.

Its 2021 and Buckeye charges $99.99 for 100mbps download and only 5mbps upload. their staff is not helpful and will continue to try and sell you things like a $20/month upgrade to bring your upload speed to a blazing 10mbps... do yourself a favor and pass on this company. Starlink or 5G home internet is better than this garbage.

Their internet service is terrible and too expensive. My internet cuts out on a daily basis and I pay for unlimited service. I have had to call them 3 times in one month and my service still is not fixed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Very impressed with your contractor Precision Broadband & Installation! Jacob and Kenneth are absolutely amazing! Set up our new service! We live in a house that is 18 years old and it had no previous cable !! They took care of it!! They kept us as a continued customer of Buckeye! Rob and Ashley were big help in customer service also! Rob made sure I got my same cost I had a told address, this was very important to us. Ashley got us through to Rob when we got disconnected due to my phone issues. Please make sure you acknowledge your hard working contractors and employees! They keep your customers happy! This was an extensive job! Thank you to them for all the hard work they are doing! Would give ZERO stars if I could. Have had them for 2(?) years now. I cant even watch a 5 minute YouTube video without it buffering. Thats if I can even get it to connect to the internet. Im sitting 3 feet away from the router! Whats the sense in paying for something if I cant even do my homework? Turning in my equipment today and canceling services.

So I had a scheduled appointment for 05/04 a buddy of mine works there. And was able to come install my internet. The sales rep messed up the schedule time and made it a week out? Then I call and proceed too get this fixed and they said nothing was to be done. I asked for a supervisor and they denied it and said they will help after my 3rd call in. Chris I believe was the one who assisted me. She did great and went above and beyond to get it fixed and I can say she did. If my friend didn’t work there as a tech I wouldn’t of went through with Buckeye. Chris and my buddy kept me with them. But honestly make sure everything is set and stone before some bs happens.

Buckeye has been doing work digging new lines in everyone’s backyards for the past 4 days. Not only did we not receive any notification this would be happening but they have been disrespectful of peoples property the entire time. They have been walking through my yard continuously with no regard to my property. Additionally, yesterday they left a flatbread truck with containers and other work materials infront of my yard. This wasn’t a big issue but today when I returned from work the containers and work material were in my yard on my private property. Not once was I notified or asked if this was ok. This is extremely unprofessional and upsetting as someone who pays a lot for their services.

Service is terrible and incredibly expensive. They have terrible customer service that does not help resolve issues. My auto pay randomly stopped so they disconnected my service. Theyre only response was, should have checked your bill. There was no notification or anything. I would love go to any other provider but in my area, they are the only provider and they are aware so they dont care what kind of service they provide

Wish I could say nice things. Despite constantly being in touch with an expert to correct our unlimited data issues. We still suffer from losing our wifi connection, staying connected but losing internet access, or getting a annoying and unnecessary red alert despite our balance being at 0$. Sadly I HAVE to select 1 star otherwise it would be none. Good Job Buckeye smh.

Much too expensive for average internet. Raised price after a few months and when we called to cancel service to switch to AT&T, they canceled our internet right away when we specified the first of the month for our cancel date. Guy on the phone was pushy and not too pleasant when we confirmed we wanted to cancel.

Intermittent speeds more often then not, doesnt matter if anyone is on the internet with you or not. Very inconsistent, old tech. Reused and reused again. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER HAD FOR MY INTERNET AND CABLE PROVIDER!! For the price that they charge for their services they should be on top of customer service. AND THEY ARE NOT! The dominate the market with their services and give the worst customer service ever!!! Every time we call its a hassle I literally get sighs from the customer service agents, and nine times out of 10 I have to follow up with what I was told would be done because it is never done. Other companies are finally making their way down into Toledo, and I personally cannot wait to switch to Spectrum or someone else that will be in my neighborhood soon.

I have never heard of a company this large not having a supervisor to connect to for a customer to talk to. The representative tried tricking me numerous times by putting me on long holds claiming to transfer me then coming back to say the same thing. Another representative said there were no supervisors for customers to talk to. No wonder the ratings are low if you have rude deceiving people like them handling the service.

First off, if you plan on charging for service, than your service should be operable 24/7. Not just during the days, but in the evenings, and even during times of maintenance and upgrades. Ive had service interruption from so called maintence on lines (prerecorded message when I called in to resolve the issue) upgrades in the area(prerecorded message when I called in to resolve the issue) and modem simply not working for whatever reason(low quality craftsmanship I would figure). And no I recived no credit to my bill for downed service interruption. Regardless, if Im paying for cable or internet, I expect service to be available, and unfortunately, more times than not, their service was inadequate. Then theres the issues with billing. i.e I upgraded my service because my internet speed was like it was developed in the stone age, and when I recived the bill, even though I had made the change in the middle of the service period, I was charged for the whole difference in price, and they also decided to charge me for the full unlimited internet service(30 charge) which I canceled when I upgraded my internet speed. We like transparency and fairness. If you plan on charging the full price for internet upgrade difference in price, than at least prorate the unlimited internet charge that I canceled. The only reason for the second star is because the staff that answers the phone are usually professional in manner, and certainly not the ones to blame for faulty equipment or computer infrastructure that was written to shortchange the consumer.

I have had them for almost 2 years. My bill is now over $100 for unlimited data WiFi. I live in a one bedroom apartment with my boyfriend and our router is in the middle. We only get good connection 50% of the time in our bedroom of our ONE bedroom apartment... They don’t care and I’ve called and asked if there is any way they can give me a different rate and they say “they can’t”. My parents live in cleveland and their WiFi bill is $70 for unlimited to serve 8 people and it works no problem in any part of the 3 floor house. Ridiculous. Go to Toast, I should’ve switched but I only live in Toledo until May.

The wifi literally never works. Our plan says it is supposed to support 1-4 devices and it honestly supports 0. We have to unplug and replug the wifi box multiple times a day just to get it to kind of work. We called and they said it says it supports 1-4 devices but thats not guaranteed. So we are paying for wifi that works for 0 devices. We live in a one bedroom apartment and it hardly works in the bedroom which is 10 feet from the router. We are now being told that our bill will go up 20 dollars a month because that is the policy, even though we are getting no additional services and the service we already have doesnt work. Extremely considering the termination fees it would be better to have no wifi for free than no wifi for a ridiculous cost. We will NOT be renewing our contract and highly encourage you to look elsewhere.

Robert with the braids was amazing!!!!! He came out, and on top of it being very late, required whatever horrible job the other guy did and even fixed our modem so my babies nursery camera now works! After almost a year of horrible service!!!! And he was so funny and nice! After a horrible day he made it better for both me and my mom! Two thumbs up to Robert! If only he could do everyone’s cable and internet I bet no one would have to keep calling for fixes and bugs! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Literally kept having problems with the data usage back to back and I spent 3-4 days contacting the company to fix the situation. Every time I spoke to a rep it was someone new and I was introduced to new information about the service and it started ticking me off. I spoke to one last rep named Misty and she managed to be patient with me and actually work through the issues that were happening and compensated the situation very professionally. I appreciate Misty’s service but I still would not recommend this company. It seems as if they steal from you without your understanding, not to mention this is the only service I can use in my neighborhood so it’s as if I’m stuck with the service. I’m a student and I have to have WiFi and on top of that we’re in a pandemic. Surprise charges are the last thing I need.

The worst internet service provider I’ve ever had. They have a monopoly in the area, so they specifically choose to not invest. They know there is no other viable internet company in the area to challenge them with competition, and that’s the only way they keep customers and are successful. I can’t wait until another company comes in and takes precedence over Buckeye. They overcharge for every service, they don’t guarantee anything about their internet service, and their customer service has the most rude people I’ve ever dealt with.

So I pay for 200mbps and 10 upload. I like to game and watch TV that’s about it for internet. At 9 at night when no one else is on my devices and I am LAN cabled in I only get 25 mbps. This company is a joke. Unfortunately they are the only internet provider around us and so they jack up their prices higher than anyone else. They run a monopoly in our area and there is nothing we can do. This is by far the worse big company I’ve ever worked with in any industry. I wish Spectrum would come through our area and wipe them out because everyone is sick of being treated to horrible service and horrible quality product.

Internet goes out every 5 seconds. Never anything less than 80 ping. Customer service will always say it’s on your end, never on theres. Do whatever you can to avoid this service, even if that’s using dial up. I’m not the only one that shares this opinion too.

August 5 received “service”. August 8-12 service goes out. Technician comes out, doesn’t fix problem permanently. Two days later it goes back out. Another tech comes out. August 14 my bill comes for service I could not (and still cannot use). Another tech comes out but “didn’t have the tools”. And it was my problem to reschedule. They tell me the issue is my wireless computer needs to be hardwired so I wouldn’t have issues. Here we are 12 days into September and internet is not working AGAIN!! If the bill is owed you hear from them non-stop...not when you need your internet working, however.

After two months after initial installation, Buckeye has failed to set up or provide functioning wireless service in our home. Three technicians have installed three different modems on three different occasions with the same outcome - no service. Ive had to work from home on a personal hotspot. Weve requested a refund/prorate for days with intermittent and total outages, but have not yet heard back; customer service by phone has been unenthusiastic. There is no competition in the area. Ive lived and traveled all over the world and have never had this issue in any industrialized country - ever.

SWITCH TO T-MOBILE HOME INTERNET SERVICE!!!!!!!!!So after calling buckeye broadband ( my promo is up) they will start charging me 70 dollars a month with unlimited data for 25 speed. I asked if they would give me some type of promo as well since T-mobile is offering up to 50 speed ( and soon to be a lot more as their 5g towers roll out for home internet) , unlimited data, and only 50 dollars a month ( this includes tax and everything no HIDDEN fees or surprise charges like buckeye). The customer service representative said no because they cant offer better customer service oh my god. I ordered the t-mobile internet, Im getting up to 60 speed and only paying 50 dollars a month. Once verizon wireless home internet hits the sylvania/toledo area buckeye is going to finally start deciding not to bully residents who have no internet choices charging them ridiculously amount of money for slow internet speed. Unless you buckeye starts making changes they will be out of business soon.

Tech-support over the phone was very helpful and informative. It could’ve been a nightmare. It was not. Going into the Talmage Road location was simple easy and quick. Beautiful store neat clean and professional service.I’ve had the service for three years. Their outages are in line with the national average. Issues are not with people, it’s been technical here or there. I’ve only had to bring any equipment once in three years. Overall the service has been good to great.When reading peoples reviews take note. Are there examples, reasons, or are they just stating a blanket claim of horrible or wonderful. Those people are called trolls.

This company is a monopoly in the Toledo area so whenever they feel the urge to price gouge, they do. My family has had service with the company for 2 years now without many issues but for 6 months theyve tacked on a 30 dose per month charge for unlimited data without notice when signing for each plan it was included and every play available offers no data caps. We will report to the BBB and make a call for action. This company sells an interactive product and force its customers to pay more for less service
