Lied about maintenance program, didnt service A/C, tried to mark furnace as high CO levels to scare us into buying one of their price gouged heating units, drilled into the unit without permission or consent and then put a unsafe label on the unit to scare away a second opinion which verified they were lying. do not trust shamy.

We have dealt with Shamy for years, they have great people working for them. Installs prove them to be knowledgeable and very hard workers. We highly recommend this company for your heating or cooling needs.

Weve been utilizing their services for several years now, usually for yearly maintenance. During the frigid cold snap our furnace, while still working, was doing some funny stuff and making odd noises. They responded right away and maintained communication as to arrival time. Very pleasant tech who explained what the issue was and fixed it accordingly. There may be less expensive options but these guys have NEVER let me down so I will continue to use them.

Used them recently for AC repair and stated this was not an emergency. Needed a capacitor replaced. Very professional and quick. However VERY over priced. Used them in the past for furnace maintenance. Will not use them again. I dont mind paying top dollar for good service but was charged almost double for this type of professional service.

Shamy Heating & Cooling was fantastic!With a week of 90 degree weather we did not expect to be able to receive same day service with any company. We had a technician here within an hour of calling and our AC was repaired less than 45 minutes later!The technician, Josh, was extremely knowledgable, helpful, and went out of his way to get information for us.I definitely recommend Shamy Heating & Cooling to anyone needing service.

The shammys Goldstar service agreement is a sham. We had a fan motor go out on our furnace. We had purchase the gold star 24-hour guarantee purchase protection plan. This was November and it was only 50 degrees out. They stated they would not be able to start repairing our furnace until Monday. They quoted us a rate of $680. Luckily I was having my floor redone and the contractor look up the broken part on Amazon. The part was only $80 and only required 8 screws to put it in. I contacted shammies for 2 months to get a refund on our agreement. They finally sent me a refund of $28 on a $280 agreement. Their summer tune up for my AC didnt work.I purchased this agreement for peace of mind. But you cannot get peace of mind from a dishonest company. They are dishonest with their discounts theyre dishonest with their prices theyre dishonest with their guarantees. You would be safer looking for a different furnace company

I have nothing but great things to say about Shamy Heating. They were the only ones who came out on a weekend night when my furnace first died on me, and they got it running temporarily until they could get the part to try and fix it. After they put the part in we saw that it wasnt going to fix it for long so I had Jason come out and give me a quote on a new Lennox furnace. I decided to go with them and they showed up on time, and they were very professional and they got the old furnace out and the new one installed in no time at all. The guys that came out were very hard working, and very friendly, and they answered any questions I had also. I highly recommend Shamy and everyone I dealt with from the office, to the salesman, to the technician, to the installers were all really great

My sister Sharon has been getting the run around by this company. Shamy came out yesterday to do an annual checkup on her 8 year old furnace which was working properly, and before they left, they told her it was in good condition and operating well. Right after they left, her house started to get cold and she realized the furnace was blowing cold air only, even though the thermostat was set at 72 degrees. So she called Shamy right away and the technician came back to check on it; he couldnt figure it out, so then he called in a second technician to figure it out. They then determined she had bad valves that need replacing. They gave her a room heater to keep overnight and said theyd be back early this morning; they didnt come back this morning or call her, so she called them to ask if they were coming to fix her furnace, and they told her they wont be there until this afternoon, and they still arent there yet (its now 3:45 pm). She told them she would have appreciated a call to let her know they werent coming in the morning but got nowhere with them This sounds like a total scam, dont you think so? Her furnace was working just fine until this technician came in to do the annual checkup on her furnace, after which time, it was dysfunctional! So now they want over $100 to fix the problem. I recommend that you dont use this sham of a company to service your water heater, A/C, or furnace! They

They are the best price around but good luck if you miss a phone call. I returned their call 15 minutes after missing it for my service person and they reassigned. I rearranged my schedule to be home for this and now Im pushed to the back of the line? I know this is the busy season but there is no justification for this.

The service guy was trying to sell me a new furnace before he knew what the problem was and how much it was going to cost. i told him it is covered under the warranty, i could tell by the looks on his face that he did not like hearing that. After he found out what the problem was and it was the control panel, he called the office and spoke with Mary who is in charge of service to see if the part was in stock and she told him that it was discontinued which i found hard to believe and she said to give them two days to look for a universal one . I looked up the item online and the original part was available all over and i even called Schmidlin who has been in business since 1917 said that the part was not discontinued and the had one in stock. So i called total comfort heating and cooling . had the part in stock and fixed my furnace . DO NOT USE SHAMY HEATING AND COOLING BECAUSE THEY LIE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I purchased a Lennox furnace and air conditioning unit from Shamy Heating in August 2018 for the home where my daughter and 2 grandsons were living. The HVAC appeared to be working properly, the AC was cool and the furnace kept the house warm in the winter. I moved into this home in June 2019 and the AC was extremely efficient. But when it came to the colder months I noticed the heat was not working as I expected.While my daughter was in the home she kept the heat at a constant temperature, but I like it cooler at night. When I turned down the temp in the home it would take 3 or 4 hours to recover to the daytime temperature. Turns out this was a sensor issue with the furnace. The point of this review is how great Shamy Heating responded to the issue 15 months after insallation! On several occasions I was able to talk to Mark, the service manager. The ultimate fix took a little time but I was never without heat. The technician sent to my home, George, was great! Mary and the office staff are a pleasure to work with and both Mark and George gave me great tips to optimize the air flow in my 2200 sq ft home. The furnace is running great and all areas of the home are very comfortable now! All this was done at no charge to me! The after sale service was above and beyond! I also need to mention Jason who sold me on this system. At the time of the sale it seemed like he was making some outrageous claims but this system has performed as Jason said it would. I would recommend Shamy Heating for your HVAC needs especially due to the amazing after sale service I have experienced!

The worst company ever. Do NOT, I repeat do NOT take your business there. They took money for a service they didnt fix. Called them again as it wasnt fixed and they threaten to come out again for the SAME issue only if they get paid again. I would like to speak to the news(WTOL) and post on social media about the nightmare of this company!!! They deserve zero stars but google will not let me publish unless you pick a star.

Not too happy with shamy right now. about 9 months ago i had a tech out to my home to fix my water heater. two weeks ago i had a tech come to my home again for the water heater which ended up being the exact same issue as 9 months ago. the first call was $41.00 and the second $134.00. the exact same work was done on my water heater both times!! in fact before the tech came out the second time i had a feeling it was the same issue so i cleaned around the area with a vacuum and even left the screws undone so the tech wouldnt have to waste time doing it. I have contacted shamy three times about the price difference and was told someone would get back with me. still havent heard a thing!!!
