Our office needed an local IT person to assist us with our various issues that arise day to day. We are very happy to have found DrPC computer repair. They respond quickly, they provide us with onsite service and always solve our issue quickly.

I run a very busy hair salon in thousand oaks and when my computers are not functioning correctly, we can have big problems with scheduling, etc. Yesterday or scheduling system went down at our front desk, needless to say, it was causing big issues. I found DrPC from a recommendation from one of my customers. I called DrPC and booked them for 9am the following morning. John showed up and immediately got to work. HE was very friendly and explained what he was doing as he worked. Turned out that the computer was no longer on our network. I also had him install a printer for us. John did a great job, highly recommended

Thursday morning, our newbury park offices power was off (construction next door) Once the power was back on, no one was able to log in. I google searched for local computer repair and called 3 different companies that were listed. DrPC were the only ones that we were able to schedule a same day on-site appointment with.The technician arrived on time, was friendly, and got right to work diagnosing our issue. Turned out to be something with our server, but the tech solved it quickly and had us up and running in about 45min; he did an excellent job! I feel very good giving this company 5 stars.

Hello. My husband and I were having problems getting our wireless printer to work. I looked for a computer repair near me in newbury park. I called Dr PC, and spoke with a friendly technician that was able to schedule someone to come out the same day. The technician arrived at the scheduled time and was able to get our printer working pretty quickly. The cost was very reasonable and the service was excellent; we proudly recommend the services of Dr PC.

Ive dealt with many different repair shops in the area 25 years plus of using computers. This place was By far the best. It seems like most places have the intention to rip you off where Dr Pc (John) just is honest, kind and respectful for your business.I was told elsewhere my laptop had multiple problems but here I was given the truth that it was one problem that was fixed very quickly and at a very fair price. Glad to finally find a local place that is great for repairs or technology help.

Had a hard drive go bad on my powerbook and needed data recovery. I called around to get an idea of cost; estimates ranged from $200.00 to almost $1000.00. I decided to go with Dr PC in Thousand oaks. I had called them first and had a good feeling about them.2 days later I picked up my defective drive along with all of my recovered data and was relieved to only pay $300 (which I found more than fair)Im writing this to thank Dr PC for their great service!

I had an external hard drive with video files on it. I was unable to read the drive on my mac book pro laptop computer. It said it was unreadable.I took the hard drive to John at Dr PC. At first it looked as if we were going to be able to get the files back no problem. But then it became more complicated then that.John diligently spent hours and hours until he was ale to solve the problem, aware that I was trying to retrieve the files without spending a fortune, and aware that I had an important meeting and needed the files as quick as possible.I would recommend John and Dr PC to anyone who has this type of issue, but also because of his professionalism and great service.

I needed an expert to install a wireless extender at my place of business. After calling several companies and getting voice mails at each, I finally got in touch with the guys at DrPC. Technician came out, was very friendly, and got right to work. I was very pleased with the work, and t he technician was excellent.

Had a laptop go dead on me last week and brought it to Dr PC computer repair in Thousand Oaks. They diagnosed the problem as a faulty video chip on the motherboard and had it fixed by the next day. Hate to disagree with other reviews but check out yelp all two star reviews. These must be by his friends. He totally scammed me, promised windows 7 and left my old software in and scammed me in other ways that led me to having to buy a new PC. Avoid this guy or youll get ripped off...like I did.

Hello, I wanted to take a moment to thank DrPC for a job well done! My coffee shop point of sale system needed to be integrated into our existing network. I was one the phone with our point of sale technical support, but the techs instructions were not too clear and had me worried that I would not get the job done correctly. At the advice of our point of sale technicians, I googled some local computer techs for assistance and was so lucky to find DrPC. John (from DrpC) showed up when scheduled and was ale to configure our firewall for the point of sale system. Aside from being very knowledgeable, he was friendly and communicated well. I will be using DrPC for any future technicial needs and recommend them without hesitation.

Our office manager Debbie found DrPC online and scheduled an AM appt for the following day. The tech (john) arrived at the arranged time, introduced himself to the staff and described (in lay terms) exactly what he was going to install/upgrade for us, and how to properly use it.Our building is large and there are 2 separate buildings that we utilize for our business. It was determined that a wireless solution would allow us to expand our network into the next building and allow guest access as well.The technician was onsite for about 3.5 hours.
