Absolutely great place with awesome staff. Not only did they replace my PSU, they redid my cable management and helped with some other issues on top of staying late to finish the job and even help get my stuff to the car. 11/10 - WILL recommend

I dropped my laptop while working from home recently and was in a panic. I called our IT support at the office and was assured it would take 5-7 business days to get a replacement in stock at a repair place in Tallahassee and that Id have to leave it for at least 2 hours. I didnt have that time and thought I would try a local place instead - I called Hicks and Jordan told me to bring it in, he had a screen in stock. I drove immediately from Cairo and I kid you not the entire removal and install took 11 minutes TOTAL. I was able to do the whole thing over my lunch break including travel time. While there, I also saw him assist two other customers as well over the phone. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and I learned they can do reboots of software and also sell computers and systems as well. I wish I had known sooner, and we will always use them from now on. I have plans to take an older computer to him soon that I had given up on. The price was more than reasonable and even my IT guy back at the office was in awe when I told him what good service I had received. Hicks is hands down the best around!

Charged my dad $100 to replace the screen on the iPad 8th Generation only for the home button to not be in its proper place so he took it back. They fixed the home button only for the glue they used to not stick to the frame. The guy tried putting something heavy on it to make it stick and offered to throw in a case, I guess to hide the fact that the screen wasnt attached to the frame anymore. I definitely do not recommend coming here for any Apple repairs.

I was having issues with my Dell lap top which I need for work. So after reading the reviews I decided to give them a try. After looking at my computer he basically tried to upsell me by suggesting I buy almost everything in the store for my computer to work properly. I told him I could not afford this.Then he began to make passes at me and innuendos that would apply discounts to my bill. Me being a good Christian-woman I left immediately. I will never go within 10 feet of that snake pit ever again.

Attempted to build my own gaming pc and ended up extremely confused lol. Took all my parts in, they assembled everything for me, and even threw some upgrades in there and actually explained some of the components and how they work. Jordan actually stayed probably 3 and a half hours after they were closed to finish my build, (some parts caused an issue and werent able to finish) but they got me done the next day and even said they would install the piece that was defective on a saturday (normally closed). If i could recommend anyone for anything PC related its gotta be these guys, theyve earned my business and then some. Thanks guys.

A family member introduced me to Jordan during a visit to Thomasville. My daughters’ laptop was not connecting to wifi and was in need of an upgrade. I shipped it to Jordan who handled the repairs quickly and professionally. The charges were fair and reasonable and the laptop was returned in an acceptable period of time. Jordan even followed up with us to make sure we were satisfied. We’re happy to support this small business.

My computer was fixed at at a timely manner. The young man knows his business about computers. He was friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I definitely will recommend Hicks to my friends and family.

This company treated a dear family friend horribly, got the computer back worse then it was given and yet they had the audacity to upsale my friend, all the while not fixing the problem and creating another. When confronted and asked about all this, after a far delayed response were rude and unprofessional. Judging by this I woul never go to this place. This situation only covered in brief here has been reported to the better business bureau.

I would rate 10 stars if I could. They made repairs that no other computer techs recommended, nor even Microsoft Office technical support for Windows could make after a whole day logged into my laptop! Hicks changed out the old style harddrive on my relatively new Asus which they deemed the wrong fit for a core5, 7th gen installed on my laptop in favor of a SSD. Made some minor updates and this thing is operating like a dream all for 150 bucks! Thank you guys!!

Was overpriced for what i needed which wasnt a big deal. But once i decided to just let them do it the guy was extremely rude and held my items for 3 months. Everytime i called to ask about it. It was excuse after excuse. You do not run a business this way. Everyone watch out and please be careful!

I cant say enough about my great experience with Hicks Computers and Tech Shoppe. I own a business and all my data was on my computer which crashed. I called Jordan with Hicks and he was at my office within minutes. A little later that same day I was using my computer again. They will be my go to for computer repair and service.

Was not happy with the work that was done also expected other things to be fixed as they had said. They didn’t finish fixing it even after I paid and would not refund me. They are rude people!

Hicks Computers is a really great place to really get anything done for your computer. If you need installments or something deleted, if your computer is running slow this is the place to go to. Its a small business right now, but they know what they are doing. It has very good prices and are very helpful. I recommend Hicks Computers 100%

Waters is highly knowledgeable, with very reasonable prices. He was quick, understanding, and gave great advice to prevent future problems. He gives that extra bit of TLC that cooperate businesses lack in dealing with their customers, he had my best interest at heart and he didnt try to tell me a bunch of technical jargon so that he could jack my bill up. I highly recommend him and will return with all my computer queries.

One of my coworkers was in Thomasville, GA on a training assignment. Her laptop and the agencys powerpoint projector didnt have matching ports. I called Mr. Hicks.
