I will start by saying my hygienist was fabulous. But pretty much everything else was bad. The front office staff was not very friendly. I had a few questions about billing and they just dismissed me. I had a few fillings done and one fell out within two months. I have two friends that also come here who had their fillings fall out. I had to go back Probably four times for them to get my bite right. I needed I had a root canal done I was going to be charged way too much. I got a second opinion and they did it for less than half of what dental Depot quoted me. Same insurance and everything. Everything was so expensive there. So glad I left.

Amazing dentist office with friendly and knowledge staff! I loved Nancy, my hygienist. She was very thorough and explained my dental issues very well. Also, Dr. Chen was great as well! The front office was very friendly and helpful too! Would definitely recommend this place!

I was extremely nervous going in because I knew I would end up needing extensive work and dental work in general is very unnerving for me. But the staff was amazing, kind and understanding. And I cannot express how wonderful Dr. Chen is. I ended up needing a root canal and he made sure I was at ease and didn’t experience any sort of pain or discomfort. The staff worked with me financially to make sure I was able to get the work done I have needed for over 3 years. I have never felt so at ease with a dentist. I highly recommend Dental Depot to anyone who is looking for a wonderful doctor or anyone who has reservations about dental care.

I dont like going to the dentist but I did like the outcome from this place. From previous experience, they usually come in and take a peek and take off without any feedback. Dr. Sheikh and Shayna (dental hygienist) talked about the next steps involving my care, addressed any concerns, and my follow up. (Great collaboration!) Shayna was right about how happy I was going to be about my teeth after cleaning because wow 😳 everyone was super friendly from the beginning to the end!

I came in for what I thought would be a simple repair of a loose crown. Turns out I broke it off and there was no saving it. The staff at this location were very kind and thorough explaining my care plan and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I recommend this place!

I’ve now visited this dentist office 3 times (it’s a journey) and each time has been a wonderful experience. The last time I went to another dentist they were very rough and didn’t care too much about the patient/ “bedside manner”. I’ve worked with Beth (dental hygienist) every time I’ve been here and she has been wonderful each time. There was a small hiccup with my insurance one time and they were able to work with me to figure out how to get it taken care of within my budget. They also provided me with the work needing to be done in the form of a plan/program which I liked so I know what needs to be completed. I will continue to come to Dental Depot for my future dental work and I will keep recommending them.

We were extremely happy with our appointment. We have both been vaccinated and our choice is to not wear mask. Even though their sign said mask required, they said nothing to us about it. For me that was great. My anxiety left me and I enjoyed my visit. If you are looking for a great dental office, Dental Depot is one you need to try.

Beth is an amazing hygienist! I typically hate the experience of being in the chair, but she went out of her way to make sure I was okay. She spent a lot of time walking me through options/ways to solve my gum/sensitivity issues.Also, when I had to get some extensive work done in a short time due to changing insurance, the entire team went above and beyond (like called in personal favors with vendors even) to make sure I was able to meet the deadline and get fully taken care of.I run a small biz and one of the front desk people even walked me through what to consider when providing dental benefits to my employees.Needless to say, I’ve been super impressed with the entire crew!

Worst experience ever. They broke a tooth trying to fix it , had to pull it. then had to put a bridge in. Charged for the bridge and 2 weeks later the bridge broke. They wanted to charge me for a new bridge. RUN Run

I hadn’t been to the dentist in years putting the children before myself. With the fear of going and having to go over and over for the same issue and spend lots of money and I was a little nervous about pain. I let them know of my fears when they asked what they were and they made sure that I was in no pain at any visit. I had a tooth extraction first and then a deep clean with Shayna. She is awesome. My teeth are shinning. Worth every penny. Every Dentist, Hygienist, and MOST of the front workers all great. Dr. Shaye even called me to see how I was doing with my procedure 24 hrs later. I found my family’s new dentist office.

I am so happy with this office. They have worked with my limited budget to get my confidence back and have given me a plan to help figure out all the steps to make my smile better. Honestly the best experience going to the dentist I’ve ever had. Beth was wonderful and made the process easy. Reminder call and text were helpful. The entire staff are all friendly and professional.

BEWARE!!!!!This clinic has no real doctor!!! You can go there for your checkup and to meet the hygienist, but dont ever make fillings there. They have only 1 general dentist, Ahad Sheikh, who clearly doesnt know how to make it! Last Friday my wife pointed at a small black spot in her tooth (it didnt even ever hurt), and so-called doctor made a small filling that cracked the next day. We were forced to visit emergency because of the huge pain Saturday night. On Monday he told us to wait till Friday (we now think he literally tried to avoid doing anything because he has no idea how to do it right). Of course, nothing changed, and my wife came today to redo the filling. It was our biggest mistake to allow this charlatan to touch it again. The result of his work is on the picture. There was no black color around the filling before, now it is there. Pain is not going away, and only getting worse. We went to find real doctor in another clinic, and he was shocked with what he saw. There is now a high chance that my wife will lose her tooth!!! It seems like we are going to court and will insist on voiding his license. This dentist needs to stop maim people! Terrible experience!!!!!

My wife likes the Doctor Chen so I go there. Dr Chen is good though, thankfully, I have never had a need to spend much time with him! I’m not a big fan of the train but I think kids like it. The only reason I gave 4 stars over 5 is that they have a lot of turnover and I haven’t had the same hygienist twice and twice had different dentists.

I went in for a routine cleaning. Had an ancient filling that we have been watching for a couple of years that was failing and needed a crown. Dr. Chen and the staff were great! I never felt the slightest bit of pain, during or afterwards. I highly recommend them.

Medicare does not pay for dentures so the discount plan was very helpful.This is the best experience I have ever had with a dental office!!!I must admit that I didnt go the Dental Depot for a long time simply due to its name and the looks of the building. I got the impression that it was a cheap gimmick and just another franchise out to make money. I was so very wrong and I am the only one who paid for my stupidity.

Dr. Chen is a tooth magician and not afraid to tell you how it is and offer solutions that actually work. I’ve had the strangest situation with three of my front teeth while I’ve held of implants I’ve kept permanent wire retainer on the backside of the three teeth. I’ve seen in the past 10 years over a dozen dentists and orthodontists for solutions to hold me over until I could afford an implant.I thought this year was the year for an implant then Covid-19 happened and so did lay offs. My previous 2 dentists compromised the strength of my retainer and it was in a dire situation when I walked into dental depot. I was either going to lose the tooth or risk a new retainer that was stronger and sleeker but potentially lose the tooth to how fragile the retainer and tooth were.I have walked out after an hour of Dr. Chen genius finagling and tedious trial and error. I’m happier than I’ve been in a LONG TIME about my teeth. My new retainer finally has a wire after two years of glue that had slowly fallen apart! I HAVE A RETAINER! A tangible dental device that will hold me over for the handful of months I need it! I’m ecstatic. Seriously best dentist I’ve ever had.He can consider me a staple in his business now for sure.

Bobbie and Nancy were very professional. They were thorough in their work, while making sure I was never in pain. They made time to educate me, and were very accommodating with my requests. Dr Sheikh was incredibly knowledgeable and I felt comfortable being in his care. I never felt pressured to make haste decisions, and the staff was warm n friendly. The procedures I had done were priced lower than my previous dentist, yet I don’t fell as though I’m sacrificing quality of care. Over all a positive experience.

Dr Chen was the most helpful dentist ever met, very interested in my understanding. Very patient and knowledgeable, couldn’t be more satisfied. Did full mouth restoration, 8 hours of intense work. Dr Chen is the real deal.

I had my six month cleaning it was 95 dollars I really enjoy the hygienist I have. I have go back to do a cavity. Its been a long times ince I had a filling done. Hopefully its a breeze!

Had severe tooth pain, and went in to get it figured out, I was frustrated and left a negative review due to miss-understanding between the dentist and me and my understanding of why I was still in pain and why pain meds were not provided on the first visit. After seeing a second doctor for a second opinion I returned here to talk to Dr Chen again about my tooth issue and the pain I was still having and why he made the choices he made on the root canal process. He was very kind about the situation and gave me information on the options He was suggesting and the options the 2nd opinion doctor gave and why he felt the choice the 2nd dentist wanted to go with were not appropriate.I personally have a strong dislike and phobia of the dentist and despite my frustrations Dr Chen did make me feel much better about the process.The staff has all been very lovely. Jiovanni is the BEST.Once I get my insurance issues figured out I will probably return.

Good service only issue was one of the front desk personal did not tell me up front what my Insurance would or would not cover so after the service I was hit with a bigger than expected bill. If I was told up front what my part was to pay before service I would have made the appointment later once I had the money. It was right after I paid rent. Their oral surgeon team pulled a tooth that has been bothering me for almost 10 years and so far the recovery is going wonderfully! Minimal pain, minimal swelling and I was alseep for the whole procedure. First time getting stiches and I was terrified at first but everything went smoothly and they made me feel comfortable. We always love going go Dental Depot. My child loves to see the trains going by ever so often, her fears of seeing a dentist the very first time she was there melted away by the trains, the friendly staff and the toy playset they have in that play waiting area. Even I love going there to watch the trains and the old decor when I go there for my appointment, in addition to the friendly staff.Yesterday was the first day I have a dental appointment at the same time as my daughter. They arranged for us to be in adjacent rooms so my child will be reassured to know I am nearby.She was at first scared to be alone, but I kept hearing laughter and talking when I was in the adjacent room. The dentist would pop by if they have any question for me regarding my child. This is wonderful.This is a wonderful establishment and I highly encourage anyone considering a dentist for themselves or their child to go there!

Listen I HATE DENTISTS!!! I HATED THE WHOLE IDEA OF DENTAL INDUSTRY!!! To me it was the most barbaric, in compassionate, PAINFUL division of medicine until I met the doctors and staff at DENTAL DEPOT!!! The friendliest staff of people I had ever seen ....I literally had to ask myself are u sure this is a dentist office!! The owner, and doctors were so freaking professional and knowledgeable about the work needed and not once ever made me feel afraid even after I told them that I HATED NEEDLES!!! they still made me feel comfortable about everything and kept me informed in the process...they werent just concerned about my teeth but my total overall health and that means a lot... I now for the first time have a dentist that I can trust and can’t wait to get the process going towards rebuilding my dental health!!! WAY 2 GO DENTAL DEPOT!!!! I came to this dentist to get a 2nd opinion about an issue I was having and I am Super Happy I did. They found a filling that was missed by another dentist, and took care of my first Root Canal so easily this office has earned my business for life. I went to Dental Depot to solve a problem with an implant performed by a different dentist. Dental Depot of The Colony provides the same friendly excellent service I was accustomed to from their Highland Village location. Dr Chen is patient, thorough and makes you feel confident as well as comfortable. One note, their Covid precautions are some of the best I have seen. I was initially pretty worried about seeing a dentist during a pandemic but have no concerns about safety in their office. Thank you Dr Chen and staff.

They were able to fit me in immediately (literally) for a toothache and I walked out with my problem resolved!! I will be scheduling appointments for my entire family at my follow-up next week. Update: we have been back several times and have received excellent care every single time. They have gained 4 patients for life!

We had a Laser service coded 4999 that was included in my family member’s deep cleaning. We were told by Sheldon-office mgr that this code is NOT covered by insurance companies. I called MetLife, Denise confirmed code 4999 is covered but office would need to provide documentation of support for Laser treatment. I spoke with Shelom and she reinstated code NOT covered. I asked if she could call MetLife on 3-way, she said not necessary since she has never had insurance companies cover this code. I asked if I could call on 3-way, she agreed.We spoke with MetLife, Nicholas confirmed code 4999 is covered, supporting documents would be needed. Shelom went back & forth with him on why code is covered if it’s considered an “undetermined procedure”... he explained the process and she Finally she agreed to file the code to MetLife.We were never told Laser treatment AND the Oral Soothe code:: 9630 were optional. We were sent home with the Oral Soothe, which was opened by the hygienist and handed to my family member to use after the treatment. We didn’t know this solution, which is similar to hydrogen peroxide, was optional and cost $43 out of pocket.Please beware and do your research. They are not for you when it comes to billing.

I loved my experience at Dental Depot. I was able to schedule same day due to someone cancelling their appointment. The staff was friendly and my dental hygienist, Beth, was an absolute joy to work with. It’d been years since seeing a dentist and Beth took her time examining my mouth and educating me on ways I could prevent possible problems with gum health and keeping a bright healthy smile. The pricing is transparent and they do not pressure you to get unnecessary work done. They simple educate you on your mouths current health and then leave you to decide on a course of action to achieve a healthy smile.

We love the dental depot! Staff was so friendly. I brought my two year old and even though usually new places are hard for him, he really got along well with our Dental Hygenist Beth and Dr. Shake. The train theme is perfect for him too. He was mesmerized by the train suspended from the ceiling. And it was nice for me to relax for the appt!

Very professional, I needed a emergency visit on Nov 25th the day before Thanksgiving. I was welcomed in and seen without an appointment and it felt like I was a longtime patient.I will be changing dentists soon.Thanks for your help

Neelie Jones is the best dental hygienist! She has cleaned my teeth many times. She is always cheerful, thoughtful and professional. She is very thorough and always pays attention to detail.

I had the best dental hygienists Beth Nguyen! She made me feel comfortable, at ease, and she and I even had a few laughs. I will definitely be back to see her and this location. I also went to the Highland Village location as well. Dental Depot in The Colony is definitely one I would recommend.

After moving and then the 2020 stay at home it had been over a year since I had a dental visit and actually had completely different recommendation of work but I felt confident having the work done here. The practice is so professional but make u feel comfortable.

I want to thank Dr. Sheikh, Oscar and all the girls in the office for making my dental experience an awesome one!! I’m one of those ppl whose TERRIFIED of Dentists!, mainly bc every time I go to one something would happen.I must say, from the moment I walked into Dental Depot in The Colony, Tx... I was put at ease. From the girls in the front office, to the Tech that did my x-rays, not only does this office do everything they can to observe COVID regulations for my safety and theirs, but nothing was done w/o an explanation to be sure I understood what was being done and why.Then Dr. Sheikh came in, we went over my x-rays and together we came up w/a treatment plan, that was best for me and I didn’t feel pressured to do anything right then, in that moment! That’s how to do business, he thought about what was best for me at that time, made his recommendations and 15min later when it was time to have my tooth pulled, I never felt a thing. Oscar then explained all post op care perfectly.After my root canals are complete, by the specialist, I’ll be returning to Dr. Sheikh for my bridge. Why would I go anywhere else 🤷🏻‍♀️ He and his staff are awesome! ☺️😉
