Unfortunately because of the way my information was entered into their system by the sales agent, Geico refused to underwrite my policy because my utilities are in my roommates name and not my own. Corporate underwriting demands proof of residence beyond a lease with my name on it. I shared my story with the supervisor Charlie, who expressed empathy and promised to review what happened with his team so that other customers wouldnt have this problem in the future. Obviously this is an issue with the way corporate supports their offices, not with the individuals who work here in Texas. Still, I cannot continue to do business with the national corporation. Watch out for these errors coordinating between the two. Agents should also be aware of how their actions affect corporate decisions so this can be avoided.

I requested an auto insurance quote online but the quote was more than what Im currently paying so obviously, I wasnt interested in switching. Marwin from the local Geico office in The Colony called me a day or two later and I explained that the quote I received was higher than my current premium so she worked the numbers to ensure I received any discounts I was eligible for and was able to get me a really fair rate that will save me money every month. She was very courteous and professional and Im glad she called to follow up with me because I ended up switching!

I took a online quote for homeinsurance and it was slightly on higher side - so i was also researching other options. I received an email from Amanda Steil with message that they have more options which arent available online, so i gave her a call and we worked out the numbers which didnt really pop up online and my overall price was reduced by 500$ and still with a good coverage. She was very responsive and explained me all the coverage definition as i am a first time homebuyer and not aware of the terms. I highly recommend her.

Don’t bother contacting them because they will leave you on hold or they will just say they’ll call you back but won’t. I have been with Geico for years and it is a shame to see how they treat there customers. I’ll gladly be taking my business somewhere else.

After filling out some information online, I was able to easily get a new policy set up to start on the date I needed. Matt was very patient and professional with me. Bottom line, everything was a breeze to change my coverage to GEICO.

A proactive office. They called me with new info and quote after my current underwriter raised their rates. They saved me $700 a year on their own initiative. Nice!

Ive saved approx $270. Initially I received an online quote that was $250 less than what I currently pay for 6 months. I went online 2 days later and I was asked questions reference a hail storm claim, the price increases by $160. Needless to say I decided not to change policies, but then GEICO called to ask me why I didnt want to purchase the policy. I explained why and he offered to take a look at the policy and why the increase. He informed me that he was going remove the hail claim since it was an act of God and I was back to saving $250. In addition, I saved more money because of auto pay. I purchased the policy and am happy to be safety so much for the same coverage and limits.

The reason why insurance is so great is because you are new to the country and have no history to trust you ... after 10 months of regular payment I take a new car and add it to insurance ... payment is incredibly high. after a little research I find a company that offers me the same thing for half as much money ... thanks geico but no thanks !!
