Ben, the service technician, was very polite and prompt. He was here to perform our semi-annual routine maintenance. He did find a small problem, explained the possible concern if not addressed, and gave me the opportunity to approve the work. He was able to fix it right away. I appreciate Ben’s work ethic, to provide total service with professionalism.

The representative TIm showed up in a mask and covered his feet with booties to walk in my home. Recently had a full installation done by a team of 4 gentlemen. They were able to replace the entire system, and add both a return and supply duct all in a single day. Tore the entire old system out and redid everything perfectly. New concrete pad, new electrical box outside, new everything. Outstanding work and they even vacuumed up at the end of the day. Great attention to detail, very polite, extremely professional, and top notch service. I highly recommend Colony Air.

As a standard practice, the technician recorded the volts/amps of the a/c components, noted visual condition of the filter, drain pan, outdoor condenser (including pictures), and provided a copy to me. Very professional and they sent out a trained crew for our new AC and heater unit installation. They removed the old unit and hold it off and did so in less than a day. Colony Air was able to come out within 24 hours, during a major winter storm. Danny was friendly, efficient and most importantly got our heat back on. Inside was at 48 degrees and dropping. We were charged a reasonable rate and were so impressed we signed up for the companys annual servicing contract.

I had an excellent experience with Colony and with the service technician, Josh!When I called they offered a same-day appointment, but I opted for next-day since my issue wasnt urgent due to the cooler weather.I received a courtesy call at the beginning of my scheduled time interval saying that the technician was on the way and then received a text sharing Joshs information.Josh arrived shortly thereafter, asked what I was experiencing, and proceeded to check my condenser. In a short amount of time, he assessed that I had a bad capacitor, which was a quick replacement and very reasonably priced. A prior company (that I had used before) had assessed that I needed a new condenser and coils. Josh definitely saved me a lot of money and time!Josh went above and beyond though, not only telling me what the issue was, but offering to show me what he observed. He showed me the measurements on his meter indicating my bad capacitor, and after replacing it, he showed me the difference in measurements. He also showed me a few ways that I can determine if my condenser is working appropriately. He did share that I may need a new unit in the future since mine is now 9 years old, but that for now this one is still good.Im thankful for his quick, honest assessment and work. Going forward, I will definitely recommend Colony to others for their AC repair needs. Thank you, Colony!

We have used The Colony Air Conditioning & Heating for many years. They really have a great service model: After they make the appointment they send you a text and then send a reminder text the day before the appointment to confirm the appointment. On the day of service they text you a photo of the technician who will be arriving to do the maintenance along with a little bit of personal detail about them so you will know that this is indeed the person who should be entering your home. They wear masks and gloves and booties to protect you during the pandemic. They arrive during the time specified. They make recommendations about upgrades but not in a hard sell type of way. They send emailed invoices complete with photos of the maintenance performed. Yesterday we had Ben H. as a technician and he was very personable, friendly and respectful. I would recommend The Colony Air Conditioning & Heating highly.

I highly recommend them for anything involving heating and air conditioning.

David Ha provides superb diagnostic assessment, detailed explanations of what the issues are, and how to address them. He is honest, communicates and cares about providing the best service possible.He came out to provide another opinion on my project after losing AC after a storm last week. Another company provided a less detailed assessment and recommended replacing the air handler and the compressor. My system is 7 years old.David rewired the electrical cable to the compressor and replaced the blower fan in the air handler. It cost a fraction of what the other company recommended.I highly recommend him for his integrity and his open perspective.Jan T

He did a good job and came back the next day with a supervisor to correct why our a/c was shutting off and we called the problem in the same night. Found that he did not blow the line completely out. He took care of the problem immediately and we have not had any problems since. He is a very knowledgeable and gave us some tips that we could use to extend the life of our unit.
