The food was good. They have a great atmosphere to make it feel like your in the rainforest. Also the gift shop has a lot of items to choose from.

Great food great service perfect atmosphere. If you have children this is the best place to take them not only are they occupied by all the things around them that are going on but you also get a little bit of time to relax and have a moment to yourself. Because they are so amused with how amazing everything else is.

Food was delicious! Big burgers and the place is awesome, I really had fun dining there. Would love to go back there! The piña colada is superb!

Located in the arizona mills mall. They staff were super freindly and our waiter the bar tender did great. The food was cooked well too.

Yesterday (10/6/21) around lunch time, my sister and I visited your Rainforest Cafe restaurant with our children. I suspect the staffing was low, because we waited an excessive amount of time before our waiter found his way to our table to take our orders.He was curt; he did not introduce himself, but he seemed to be in his 50s. His voice was hoarse as if he was sick, but it was difficult to know for sure because he was wearing a mask. He had terrible manners, but we had all just had a good day and I wanted all of the kids to stay upbeat so I kept my opinions to myself and ordered our food.When the waiter returned with our drinks many minutes later, he saw that my 6-year-old daughter had spilled some salt on her menu. She was using it to “finger paint” and make little pictures. My daughter has autism, and this is one of the sensory/behavioral techniques we have developed in order to help her cope with boredom in public eating establishments when there are excessive wait times. Without a coping technique, she would have been running around your restaurant being very noisy. I was thrilled to see her therapy working, but your waiter was beside himself over it. He very dramatically pulled the salt shaker out of her hand, made a loud gasping, grunting noise, and slammed it down on the vacant table next to us.I was speechless. I opened my mouth but no words came to my lips. He very quickly walked away, so I decided to once again, bite my tongue. I figured he was probably having a difficult day. That was no excuse to behave this way, but nobody is perfect. I slowly pulled the sugar packets toward myself so the kids would not be tempted to open them and I did not want us to get in trouble. They asked if they could have some, so I gave each of my 2 children, 1 packet of sugar. They were bored, and we were running out of ways to keep them happy and entertained because the service was so slow.As luck would have it, the waiter happened to return as my daughter was pouring her packet of sugar into her water. He yelled, “DON’T POUR THAT IN YOUR DRINK!” I do not understand his strange fixation with my daughter or why this would upset him? There was a bus boy on staff, so he did not have to clean it up. The salt and sugar do not come out of his paycheck, and he is not the one who had to drink the water, she was. She is allowed to eat her food as she chooses.My daughter began to cry. I could be silent no more. An explanation was hardly necessary because she was doing nothing wrong, but I attempted to help him understand the situation. “Sir?” I asked. He did not respond. I asked for his attention 3 more times. No response. He turned and walked quickly away until I had to yell, “SIR!?” By this time, the entire restaurant was watching.Another man walked by. I stopped him, and he told me he was the manager. I explained that the waiter had been very mean to my daughter, and I wanted to leave. Our food had not yet arrived, and, as I told the manager, I was worried that the waiter might do something nefarious to it. An additional concern was that he might have had COVID-19 since he was hoarse, and I did not want to take my chances. As we left, all eyes were on us, and my daughter was sobbing, asking me what she did wrong. We were also very hungry, and very upset.This needs to be made right.Autism is a disability. My daughter had condiments removed from her because she is autistic. The waiter may have not known this, but he could have been polite or given me the opportunity to explain before running away like a coward. The other children in the restaurant were able to have condiments on their tables; no waiters ripped salt shakers out of their hands or yelled at them for adding sugar to their drinks. This was essentially discrimination against a disabled child. It takes so many compliments; so much building up of her self-esteem to counteract something like this. This experience undermined thousands of dollars of therapy and many hours of work, in addition to harming my daughter’s self-esteem.

This place is okay, I guess. It’s always fun for the kids no matter how awful it is for us parents. Don’t bother making a reservation because it doesn’t matter when you arrive at the restaurant. You sit so close to the tables around you (there is NO social distancing) that we were hitting the people behind us and literally sat back to back. The waitress did try hard but our food and drinks took way too long plus our order was incorrect. It just made a complete bummer for a teen birthday dinner. We expected better for $150 (there was four of us and two were 13)!Ps- The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting!

This place was so much fun for my Grandson. It was my first time and I loved it...the decor is so cute. The food was really good too!

We have been here before but its been a while. We love the ambience. They no longer have fish in the big tanks at the entrance so that was disappointing. The food was very good but the service was terrible. No one greeted us when we walked up to the restaurant area and the waitress we had was awful. We were splitting an entree but she didnt bring an extra plate. We asked for one and it took her more than 10 minutes. We were hungry so by that time we had already used a salad plate. She brought out my drink, which was just a coke, but said the bartender was backed up for the other 2 people in my party ...for a milk and a cherry sprite. She brought them waters while they were waiting. (the water is awful) They had flyers on the tables for these light up cups with animal heads on them. I asked for one for my niece and she said they dont have them. The manufacturer hasnt sent them any in weeks.... yet the flyers are on every table....She said they had the regular light up cups so I asked for the price and said Id take one. She asked what I wanted in it and I told her and she never brought it. It was not on my receipt and it wasnt even worth it to ask for it again.

Had such a relaxing time with my family, this past weekend. Food was delicious! My kids are obsessed with their light up cups!

Fish are no longer there but still loved the experience. Our waitress was amazing. Food came out quick so it was still hot when we got it. Wasn’t a busy night which was even more enjoyable as we could hear each other talk without having to compete with other tables and the cafe soundtrack. The gift shop is adorable and affordable! The gentleman that cashed us out at the gift shop was friendly and funny. So glad this location is still around. Planning to go back again!

This place needs a retouching.Food is not that great. Flavorless and very refrigerated. Pricey.That day the bathrooms were disgusting, didnt use them at all.But, little kids seems to enjoy it. I used to too, so sad its so abandoned.

Its been years since I visited this restaurant. I enjoyed having lunch with my friends there. Food was great. Fun place for kids.

There was one other table when we got there ... We waited 20 minutes for drinks .. the waiter was not very nice. The food took forever and then it came out semi warm. Two of my children didnt even eat because I had ordered an appetizer for them and it never came. For the price we paid we should have all left full and happy. It was ridiculously sad for my childrens first experience in what should have been a wonderful place.

No fish in the tank they were moved to the Vegas location. No staff there in the front to greet you we waited like 5 minutes until someone came up to us. We wanted to sit infront of the water statue and she took us to a large round table and it was just my husband and and I but the manager came up to us and said we could move. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. We ordered the shrimp tacos and they were fire! So good. The food is worth the price. Only con is they are usually under staffed and don’t have the animal cups ever. Five stars because the place is pretty and food is amazing.

Waited over 30 min. But people who came after us were let in. When we finally were seated more than half the tables were empty. We were not told why we had to wait so long. Had the seafood platter. It was good but everything is very pricey. Service was quick and our waitress Leslie was awesome.

I give this 5 stars bc I have a son with sensory issues. We thought going here would be fun, and it was for everyone but him. I explain my situation to the manager on duty and he was beyond understand and let us leave while only purchasing what we had received. (The order had been placed, but only had received drinks) thank you so much for understanding our situation and making a hard situation easier.

This place is just like youre in a jungle, live animals & everything; well kinda. The animals do move & make noise & they have a lightning storm every so often. Plus, the service is great & the food was yummy.

Service was decent and relatively quick. Food decent, but not spectacular. Only thing that bothered me was that the bathroom faucets splashed everywhere and made a huge mess, and stall doors didnt lock. The high we used needed the strap cleaned and I saw them reusing high chairs without cleaning them.

Haven’t been to the Rainforest Cafe since I was a kid. Now at 24 years old it’s still the perfect place for a Birthday Dinner. Even with the limited menu and lack of fish in the aquarium, this place was still amazing. My server was amazing and the food was as great as I remember. I had such a goooddd time !

Not impressed at all. I work in fine dining and this is not it. Selling mediocre food for fine dining prices. $19 for chicken strips and french fries? Absolutely nuts. Drinks were overpriced and had no alcohol in them. There are no fish in the tanks. This location must be going through some financial stuff. Stay away!

If you have little children and you are in the area it is a fun atmosphere for them. I found the food adequate and the service adequate.Aside from the jungle/rainforest decor there are definitely better places to eat. The cost of the meals versus the quality you recieve is ultimately not worth it.And, if you need to use the restroom go into the mall itself, the restrooms in the restaurant were abysmal.

Amazing service! Food was delicious and exactly how we ordered it. Our server was really nice and was on top of bringing refills even without asking. She was also constantly asking of we needed anything.

Two stars for atmosphere only. I dont know what happened, but this restaurant has slowly gone downhill. The food is mediocre at best and way overpriced. Used to love the food years ago, not worth going anymore:(

Fun restaurant for familys with children. The service was decent. Although, for the amount of food received the restaurant food is highly priced. It is definitely somewhere to visit at least once.

We walked in and it was quiet on a Thursday night. Rosie was amazing - very professional and friendly, she took care of us and was very kind to us with changes to the menu and drinks. The 5 stars is only to Rosie and the staff!!! This place looks the same since it did when I was in High School - nothing has changed - a little out dated , no fish in the tanks the owners most definitely need to do a revamp on this location. Sad to see someplace like this just go down the tunes from a lack of love from corporate. Shame on them!

The Pastalaya was the dish I had. Sadly enough it was very bland. Its was spicy but had no flavor. The chicken in it tasted like it was seasoned with salt and pepper only. I ended up having to ask for lemons to squeeze into it to give it some sort of flavor because if Im going to pay $24 for a dish Im going to eat it. However the chicken sandwich my spouse had was very tasty.The atmosphere is wonderful, just wasnt a fan of my food. Could have been better for $24.

Our server was great. However, they took a lot of items off of the menu and the womens bathroom was down right disgusting. I dont typically comment on this type of stuff, but it wasnt just a one time someone made a mess situation. It looked like it hadnt been deep cleaned in a very long time. This made me sad because we love taking our kids here. After seeing the bathroom, its likely we will not come back to this location.

Thought it would be fun to eat at Rainforest Cafe and it was, for about 15 minutes. Their menu has been drastically reduced and a notice on the menu states that they have reduced their menu and their staff which is unfortunate because the time spent waiting for sub-par service left us frustrated. If you go, it is only for the excitement of the kids and when they start complaining about the wait, it is almost not worth it. Keep your expectations low.

We could not get in because there was an hour wait oh, they should make it very clear that you should set a reservation beforehand. I was very disappointed

The food was amazing! The waiter was exceptionally patient! The prices are a bit high for my everyday budget, but it was nice to splurge and the atmosphere was so fun. Lots to see and hear!

Loved it loved it loved it. Recently visited the one in Vegas and was disappointed. But this location will not disappointed. Absolutely beautiful. Even has a fountain inside. Great gift shop with very reasonable prices.Only came in for desert and close to closing but was treated well. Seated quickly and enjoyed our time while there. Will return again soon

Service was great! Our server was awesome and super helpful! Food was pretty good too. The atmosphere was fun, but also kinda scary for our 2 year and the storm frightened our 4 year old. I didnt like how dark and loud it was inside either.

Waited nearly two hours to be seated when originally we were only told it would about an hour wait and after an hour and a half we asked for an update, the hostess and manager got really upset and rude to us for asking despite trying to be polite with them but waiting that long with 3 kids 3 and under is not easy. We were finally seated in the corner away from all the fun animals and water features and over half the tables in there were completely empty so we couldn’t understand why we waited so long and watched people be seated that came after us. The waitresses were all pretty nice (the only reason I am giving it two stars) but the food was definitely not worth the wait or the high price. Personally we will not be returning.

Honestly super sad. My daughter loves the alligator, the waterfall, the elephant. It was cute and this place has so much potential but if you go to their website youll see that they need a new dining room manager and waitresses. Which makes sense because we were seated and about half an hour later, we left because literally no one came. At all. Not even to say Ill be right with you or give us water, nothing. The place was dead. Only like six other tables total. I didnt see a single wait staff the whole time. My boyfriend was getting irritated because no one even offered us water in the first half hour. Lots of potential here but read the other reviews about peoples wait time. It is beyond ridiculous.

Great themed restaurant maybe 10 years ago, the toddlers appreciated the mechanical animals but the 5+ year olds were bored quickly. The food was mediocre at best being bland, cold, and over priced. I have no desire to ever return here even though the staff was friendly and overall the restaurant was clean. I just think the mechanical animals are old and could use some upgrades but most importantly the food quality and taste needs to be completely revamped if they want to be successful.

Idk why there isnt a 4.5 star option. So the customer service was good. Not great very touch and go. I love the atmosphere. The animatronics as well as the fountain, but my $29.99 steak was bland as can be. It was cooked propperly, and was good but for $30 i expect some seasoning. Or maybe have a seasoning option for $2. Or something. Soda is great quality. Not watered down at all.

The kids love the animals and the food is pretty good. The big negative is that it is extremely difficult to ever get a table. It took us 4 attempts on different days to finally get a table because they have such reduced seating. Hopefully they will get with it and open some more tables...

Waited at least 50 minutes for our food. My husband and kids got there orders at the 50 minute mark and they brought mine out 10 minutes after that (which I thought was so weird.) The floor around and underneath our table was covered in food. I ordered a sandwich and found a 1-inch piece of a broken toothpick in it. On a positive note, our waitress was sweet. 👍

Made a reservation at the door, the girl looked clueless had to repeat my phone number about 4 times because she just couldnt get it. Waited outside for about 25 minutes then after we noticed they kept bringing people in went to ask what was happening to our reservation. She said they texted but no one ever showed up! We were literally out side with my two little ones playing on the floor to make time and they couldnt take one minute to look out. They either need to train their employees to pay attention to what they are doing or just get someone that does know what she is doing.

Its so sad! The whole place is in need of renovation. The bathrooms were filthy, and in need of repair. There animatronics need servicing, specifically the monkeys and the elephants. One of the wait staff would go by every so often and push the overhead monkeys so they would swing. Its said that people dont go there for the food, but for the ambiance, and that might be true if we were in year 2002. Its seems to be just a shell of its former glory. If you went there as a kid, and want to go one last time, then maybe. I would not be surprised if they closed down soon.

Very disappointed! This used to be a great experience for children! What happened??Brought my granddaughter for her 6th birthday. She was so excited. There was no line and the greeter said there would be a five to ten minute wait, which I confirmed with her. She said we would receive a text when our table was ready. We shopped in the store area and purchased some toys for my granddaughter, then we just stood around as they only have one small bench available for waiting guests. After thirty minutes with no text we returned to the entrance. Still no line and we could see few occupied tables. We waited ten minutes this time for the greeter to show up. During this time we heard none of the usual animal sounds and movements. When we told the greeter we had been waiting thirty minutes when she had said only five to ten minutes she became very rude and insisted she had told us it would be a forty five minute wait, even though I had repeated her words back to her at the time and she confirmed. She insisted she had never said that though she had. At this point we decided to go elsewhere. My son told her she was being very rude and she replied whatever! As we were leaving she called out loudly, You folks have a nice day! We will never return to the Rainforest Cafe again!! What a terrible experience! They dont even deserve the one star!

Rain forest café is a must! A real Walk in the jungle! It is a great place to take pictures with some great food it is unlike any other restaurant and we have been to many of them the kids love it the adults love it the food is a little expensive but worth a visit! Sure while you wait for your food you asked for a fruit plate for the kids!

The rainforest cafe is fun! Its a great place to take kids. The service was a little slow, but thats to be expected with recent staffing issues everywhere. The food was delicious! Our group had the crispy shrimp tacos and cajun (?) mac n cheese. The tap water was disgusting, which made the lemonade nasty. Besides that, everything was great!

We drove out of our way for a dinner just to be completely disappointed. I have already spoken with management and was not impressed with resolution. (Because none was offered) The food was bland luke warm and took over 45 min to get. The service was slow only once we’re asked for refills on drinks. Not one person seemed happy everyone looked miserable and annoyed to serve you. The bathrooms were awfully dirty and wet. The merchandise store had pests although she was the only employee who seemed like she was having a good day.

We normally go to this location and have a nice meal. Lately the bathrooms smell like sewer, there’s no toilet paper or hand paper, the characters are all broken or peeled and our food the last time came out looking poor. Not to mention our 2 hour wait time to be seated. It’s not your average Denny’s with lower prices, I expect at least a clean bathroom if I’m paying $30 for a meal.

We ordered the bbq bacon cheeseburgers and an appetizer. We had to wait longer than normal for the food. We did not receive our appetizer, no bacon or bbq sauce on the burgers. Very disappointed in the food.

A fun time but it is very expensive. I would save this place for a special celebration or a birthday.

This is cool concept place to take your kids and the food is the normal tavern food kids would eat. Its a bit pricey for the sorta foods you get.

The worst dining experience so far, I purchased items from the gift store.Aftwe Waited 45 mins to sit down. The cashier didnt have the proper customer service skills in advising me their is a 15% discount if you ate at the restaurant. Spoke with manager an she didnt even have the proper customer service respect to apply that to my meal. An was told to go out in the rain get items just to return them for the discount. WHO DOES THAT ? THE WHOLE STAFF TO ME WAS JUST LAZY AND CARELESS...

Cute atmosphere. My kids are older (teens/tweens) and still enjoyed the animals and storms. Food seemed to take a long time to arrive and was disappointing. A $30 entree should either be delicious or huge or both and it was neither.

I remember it used to be better and Im not sure what happened. It was sad to see it so empty and not taken care of. We used to love this place.

Stopped in on a Saturday night around 8 pm. They were pretty busy, but we were seated and served quickly. The food was good, the service was great and the ambience was very cool. I expect we’ll be going again.

1 table had about 6 people sitting at it. 1 person at the bar. Was told it would be a 35 minute wait to be seated, becuase they only had 1 cook. Dont waste your time. I wont. Use to be a great place but with that attitude They Might As Well Close Their Doors.

Awful experience. Havent been here for a long time and I was excited to take the kids. We made a reservation for 5pm. We checked in with the hostess on time but were informed that it would be a few minutes because they were understaffed, only had 3 cooks, and she said everyone quit. She said we could hang out in the gift shop and theyll text us and she even said that if that didnt work she would be sure to come find us.Didnt seem like a big deal, but 30 minutes later we still werent seated. My wife went to go check on our table. The hostess clearly forgot about us. When my wife said our reservation was for 5pm, the hostess said well its 5:37. My wife reminded her that we already checked in and what the hostess had initially told us.The hostess then said, well see about getting you a table now. Another 15 minutes go by as we watch 5 other groups get seated. At this point, our 3 young kids are handling the wait was well as you would expect.I walked up to the hostess and told her to forget it. I also found the manager and told him exactly what happened. He had absolutely nothing say. Very disappointing and an awful experience.

Fortunately, this place has a lot of potential, but due to the lack of staff it makes this place unable to use it. It took us an hour just to get our food, and 30 minutes to even get a table. I appreciate how hard the remaining staff are working to fix this place from its sad state. Food: good, Time: Long,Entertainment: A little sad. I cannot give more than 3 stars because of how sad and boring this place is, but I appreciate the staff and their hard work in attempting to fix this sad little place.

I just got home took my family to nice dinner, our waitress was very talkative and she said she paid for a membership for us when we didn’t want it and found out they charged the membership to our credit card when we didn’t want it. We called back to tell her that they had charged us the membership that she said she paid for it and she said she didn’t have the receipt. Even the general manager came to our table and he was the one that gave us the card. I will be contacting corporate

Sat at bar 10 minutes and no one come to serve us another couple at the bar said someone will be back. Nope we went to Garcias across Hall and was pleasantly pleased. Great service too. So much for your atmosphere.

I gave it three stars because of the service we received, the convenience of souvenir shop and because my son loved it. We didn’t have any reservations and on our arrival we were greeted by the host and I requested to sit where the elephants were because my son loves elephants, and she made sure we got that table. The food is overpriced for your average burger that you can get anywhere else. My son was over the moon with the elephants right in front of us and the thunderstorms that would happen every 15 minutes. We ordered the Volcano Cake, again nothing special about it. We will be going back only because my son keeps asking us to take him.

The food needs an update. I usually love seeing the fish in the floor to ceiling tanks, but there werent any in the tanks. The atmosphere is still great though! It always sparks my imagination while dining there.
