I have used this company for many years now. John is very responsive, informative and knowledgeable. He takes time to understand your needs and really gets what you need done in a timely fashion. His fees are more than reasonable. I Highly recommend his services to anyone in need whether youre in the state of AZ or a sister state.

John is very rude and clearly an unhappy man. I don’t blame him, I would be too if I looked like him. He doesn’t know how to treat his customers. Do better, John. It’s not my fault you probably still live with your parents.

They printed out a form and filled in the blanks. Told me I had 50/50 chance that it would work. I could of done this myself. After reading the reviews here,, I would not recommend this place for any type of civil paperwork. Youll probably be disappointed.

I had an excellent experience with Why Pay A Lawyer when managing my fathers estate from out of state. My father and my step-mother had their wills, beneficiary deed and other estate documents prepared by Why Pay A Lawyer and from the moment I called them (actually initially emailed), they were prompt, informative and supportive. I had many questions regarding probate and all of my questions were answered and the process made very easy. I only wish they would expand to other states. I am especially grateful to Erlinda who went above and beyond.

They helped me respond to court documents from LA County. They were amazing very attentive and helpful. Kept my stress levels at bay, they were a great help. I hope I would never have the need but would definitely use them again.

And why Frys stores now have the proper safety precautions for their employees...... Why Pay A Lawyer is always there for us!! Theyre caring, compassionate & Mr. Berry is very intelligent. Ive had a mixed experience here. Erlinda is handling my divorce case. Initially, all of the paperwork was handled and my husband was served a couple of days after I was told he would be. I stayed on top of my case, following up with Erlinda every step of the way. She typically replied within 2 business days. Every time I call or email, she is out of the office. The woman at the front desk, Kathy (?) Is horrendously rude. Why have someone answer the phone who cant look at a schedule? I paid in full up front and Im about to file a formal complaint. I need documents updated and I cant seem to catch anyone in the office to help before the final divorce hearing in 2 days. Ridiculous.

Richard was very rude to me!He took 54 days for my demand letter to be served!I called to see why the letter was not served after 54 days,and Richard started yelling @me,that Im harassing him,because I called 5 times over a month to see why the letter has not been served in a timely manner.This letter was of great concern,because it involves my mentally ill son.I do not recommend Richard with why pay a lawyer,unless you do not want your business to be handled properly and professional.To this day 1-23-2019 I have not received any papers that the letter that was served.Paid for letter on 11-1-18,signed letter on 11-29-2019 to be served.Do not do business with Richard unless you do not care for professionalism and procrastination.

Rental business contract . Liked that they where there to answer my calls and help me see how crazy this person was & help me see the game thus crazy person was trying to play. Down fall , out of date legal advice for Arizona . Why pay a lawyer collected my money for their fee up front plus court filing cost . They lost my file twice on my meetings with them . So he was lost n confused on my case or what he filed.He forgot to summit the proper amount $890.00 I was owed which I handed him the break down 3x, instead he filed for max Courts allow over $14,000. Why pay a lawyer told me I can sue for Theue fees n court cost. Not true , you can not. judge was not happy with the amount he had filed with no break down of why, or how the paper work was filed by this place.I got a new ashole ripped in court. Made me look silly n greedy. My lawyer gave me advice to use in court Judge was very angry that I was not up to date with the law . Judge explain I got very bad legal advice then explained correct law. Cost me my case. My visits to why pay a lawyer cost me money, made me not ready for court and I learned a lot about Chicago cubs and their old cases years years ago and who he had walk in his office a decade ago. I think they are as sloppy as their place looks. I think they were good many years ago but are tired and talk good but lead you in wrong direction with out of date legal advice. Our legal system changes as quick as our computer n phone world. Get a lawyer or a paralegal that actual is up to date on court and the law.

Richard helped us out in a very nasty case with our Nazi HOA. They tried to sue us over some dues that were not paid because I could not work . I suffered a major heart attack in 2010. They put a lien on the house, and sued us 4 different times making our lives hell!!!Their attorney, a rat ambulance chaser, in his 4 different law suits came up with sums ranging from $10K to $ 40K. Each case more outlandish then the preveious one. Well they all were thrown out of court by the judge as being ludicrious. But none were dismissed with prejuiced so he could continue to file.Well, 4 years into this we are now in the Supreme court of AZ. just before trial both parties are ordered to arbatration so off we go 3 hours latter the judge hears both sides separately tells the HOA and their attorney that they will not get $25K from us but $2K.So we sign the papers I have 30 Months to pay them. Ive made 3 payments so far.I showed the judge the last 4 years of cases a filed 7 inches thick. But what really got him was I asked him to ask their attorney had I been making my HOApayments since 2011 he said no judge not one payment. They have you in separate rooms. So the judge comes back says nope you have not made any payments since 2011. Well, I showed him the file that had all the cancelled checks in there that they had cashed......Thats when the judge was pissed.So to that end Mr. Barry was writing briefs for me and filing them with the courts. Yes he charges, no he is not cheap but hes not $500 an hour like some of these crooks.He also did our living will and trust.We are very happy and would recommendRichard Barry to anyone.
