When I came in to get my laptop fixed, they went over basic questions and did tell me upfront what the cost was so I can decide if I wanted to continue with them or not. And they did explain the reasoning for the estimate price they gave me. I loved the transparency. Not only that, I think they fixed a purely cosmetic issue for me for free which was nice. My laptop was fixed with two hours and great communication by being notified in email and text that my laptop was ready for pick up. I don’t know much about electronics but I would definitely recommend this place.p.s. if they need to open up your laptop internally it’s like $85 if it’s an easy fix.

Okay this is my first review but I took my laptop in due to a black screen and the diagnose cost me $140.. no problem.. My problem is they tried to tell me I needed to replace my entire motherboard and that part plus labor would be over $700.. With further research I opened the laptop myself shorty after going to this place and I literally fixed the computer on my own.. You are really telling me that I do not do this for a living and I figured out the problem like that and I gave them my time and money to fix the laptop and they trying to tell me it would cost more.. I would have no problem paying them to fix it if the motherboard was the actual problem but I am currently typing this review ON MY LAPTOP. Come on guys yall have a shop open and everything! I do not do this for a living.. Almost cost me a grand when in reality it should have costed me $0.. I would ask for my money back but it is okay! Great people but terrible experience...UPDATE: Though the experience was bad at first the customer service was amazing. Got a call from the manager and was very polite and helpful. Refunded me the money. If I ever need help in the future I wouldn’t mind coming back to ABC Computer Plus. They also answered all questions I had no problem.

Definitely gained back my trust._________Turns out the part they replaced for my laptop wasnt the right one. Too bad I had to find out after months of it taking it here. Pretty sure I cannot get my money back since its a 30 day warranty. This mistake cost for my keyboard to be completely dysfunctional as well as the touch screen. Tried to blame it on me saying I probably spilled water on it. I took it to another shop, and they told me the motherboard is not supported for my laptop and the keyboard cable thats supposed to connect to the motherboard doesnt fit at all. Its loose. They never told me that, instead just tried to get more of my money by telling ne I need my keyboard replaced. I spent about 475 just to receive my laptop back with problems. Just feel really taken advantage of.

If I could give ABC Computers Plus 10 stars I would. My laptop had a series of BSOD and it was impacting my work severely. I tried the big box stores and they wanted to charge to look at it and take weeks to even give me a diagnosis. Oliver at ABC Computers Plus was able to look at my computer, diagnose the issue and get me up and running in a day. Thats great service. If you buy a computer dont spend the money on some box store service plan. If youre computer has issues take it straight to the folks at ABC Computers Plus. Theyve got a customer for life.

Scammers.They unreasonably overcharge. They quoted $135 for a simple ram replacement. They charge too high for simple repairs. Please avoid going here.

Very bad experience. They are charging $240 to add an ssd to my laptop. The same component outside only cost $50 in contrast to their $120 charge. They also use refurbished parts instead of using new parts. Stay away from this place.

Paid a pretty penny for my PC so when it broke down I was expecting a crazy quote. Turns out my issue resolved after a quick system update and they called me to pick it up no charge. These guys couldve easily replaced the hard drive and I wouldve been none the wiser but they didnt. I had Geek Squad annual service plan. I cancelled it immediatly after the outrageous amount of time and money they wanted to fix my laptop that I had gotten wet. ABC explained everything in very simple terms, honest and I had my computer back in a few days. I cancelled my Geek Squad contract.

Great guys. Fixed my sons $2,000+ gaming computer for $40 and even refused a $10 tip. They knew all about hardware graphics cards that have only recently been announced. I had a Surface tablet that dropped, cracked the screen and bent the frame. Needed a quote for insurance purposes. They knew off-hand at how much it would cost to replace the screen and frame. After a great deal of internet research, I contacted ABC and couldnt be happier.My main desktop had been hacked and I wasnt sure whether my tablet had also been involved. On the way out the hackers left a nasty surprised by compromising the sign-in screen so that I wouldnt be able to access my current Windows 10 ever again.Andy, the owner, was preparing to extract my data and reinstall Windows 10 (meaning I was going to have to reset up everything Windows 10 - as well as most likely loose a number of older programs that I had on it - while dealing with the Identity Theft). He called me back to say that the new state-of-the-art app hed been tracking for sign-in issues had just hit the market, hed picked it up and he was already back into my current Windows 10!Andy was so great. He got both of my units up and running beautifully; for a fee was able to pickup, return, and setup my computers since I wasnt able to get out; and answered my many, many questions without missing a beat. It was clear they were being very considerate with the pricing too. Wrapping this, that, and the other into one hour charges. Jacob, was great too.Computers have just gotten so sophisticated that many of us that were able to keep our computers up and running in the past, just arent up to it anymore - ok, or maybe its age. I am just saying that I am so happy that I have ABC on speed dial these days.

I am new to Mesa but this place is very close and in Tempe. The service is fast, fair, less expensive than any other place Ive contacted. I brought in 3 laptops and one desktop computer, nothing was working. When I left I had a clean faster laptop. They have me very good advise on the remaing machines and found it was cheaper to combine the contents is all and presented me with a machine better than anything I walked in with. I had my laptop back in just a few hours, was given discounts on my bill for the non-working donor machines and was charged $110.00. You cant beat their service, friendliness, cost and suburb work. I give them 5+ rating.

I came here with a new SSD hard drive and needed to see if I could find a way to reinstall an updated OS for my 2010 MacBook Pro. The guy who helped me (I forgot his name) was amazing and super helpful. He worked with me a good while without charging me. Ultimately my problem had to do with a bad cable that needed to be replaced and checked. I couldn’t have figured that out on my own. I will come back here again EVERYTIME.

I am so grateful that I found ABC Computer Plus.My old Dell Inspiron 15z Ultrabook was showing signs of driver failure and I need my laptop for work. After the third different incident in a month, keyboard failing to respond this time, I decided to get it diagnosed and repaired. I called Office Max and the guy said that I could only drop it off because they were closing at 6pm since it was Halloween They didnt have time to do a diagnosis. I said to him, hey, its only 2pm now. The guy at Office Max said sorry, nothing he could do. I have spent many thousands of $ there over the years and I was not pleased.I called ABC Computers Plus and Oliver answered the phone. Oliver said sure, bring her in and lets take a look. ABC Computers Plus is located just south of Tempe Market Place, actually closer for me. When I arrived there, Israel took a look at my laptop and managed to get the keyboard working for me in just a few minutes. Israel also confirmed that I was having driver issues. No charge !!!I was worried that my old Dell Ultrabook was going to continue to give me problems but I had so much data I was afraid to upgrade to a new laptop because every time I have in the past, Ive lost critical data.Israel showed me a 2018 Dell Latitude with 16GB Ram and a SSP. This was a refurbished model once leased to a big corporation that gets new models every year. The price was just a fraction of a new Latitude. I asked Israel about my data and settings. Israel said not to worry, everything will be the same. I went home at 2:30 pm with my Inspiron Ultrabook working, 3 1/2 hours before Office Max was going to close early for the Halloween holiday.I came back the next day, Friday, and purchased the Dell Latitude. Israel cloned my old Inspiron hard drive to the Dell Latitude hard drive and all my settings came out exactly the same. I was amazed !!! This was the first time that I ever upgraded and didnt lose any data. All my files, photos; even my desktop configuration were all exactly as before. The only difference is this Latitude is lightning fast in comparison to my old Inspiron Ultrabook.Israel took the time to walk me through everything he was going to do and after he set up my new Dell Latitude he checked it out for performance and diagnostic health. I thought the time that Israel spent setting up my new Dell was going to be an extra charge and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the price I was quoted included the complete set up. Wow !If anyone out there is considering and upgrade to your current device, I strongly suggest checking out Oliver and Israel at ABC Computer Plus.I now have a laptop that looks and feels brand new plus it comes with a 3 month warranty. Why buy new when you can get a screaming deal on a refurb ?I was very impressed with the quality of service and the professional manner at ABC Computer Plus. Recently started a new computer build, needed a MOBO BIOS update to support my Intel Processor. These fellas ordered an 8th gen processor to upgrade my MOBO to support a 9th gen. I truly enjoy supporting small business. I feel somewhat bad to leave this revoew but i think it should be heard out. I drove 25 miles out of my way because of the awesome ratings on google. I was looking for multiple parts as well as knowledge all of which i would of been glad to pay for. I asked about the first part which was an Ethernet cable as well as how to go about the crimping since i already have the wiring and crimper. I was planning on running it through my bussiness to connect more computers to the internet. Didnt stay long enough to get the reps name who verbatim told me You mean the plastic part... Ohh you should go to frys. Do you know where thats at? I dont think he was rude but when im driving 25 miles out of my way to avoid such scenario. Obviously i know where it is and theres a reason i came to you guys. I just walked out didnt even bother inquiring on other parts and knowledge i was looking for. I will forever believe its poor bussiness practice to reference your customers to competition wether your reps view them as that or not.
