If I could offer a 0 in my review I would. Mr. Mitchell seems very partial to women only, he is easily manipulated and does not have a very good process in place to deal with both parties equally. If you are a man, and have to do group therapy with Mr. Mitchell, I would suggest you find someone else if you want things to be fair. Stay as far away from this therapist as you can.For example, he was sharing things with my ex outside of session that he was not sharing with me directly. She in turn tried to use this information in court, and because I was not aware of their underhanded conversations, it totally blindsided me in court. As a professional that is receiving money from both parties, he should be sharing his thoughts or notes equally in open session not with just one party. Extremely unprofessional and a total waste of my money and time.Nothing was accomplished in our sessions. Stay away!!!

The court ordered counseling for my son and his fatherBoth parents were to agree on a counselor Both parents agreed on Mitchell Rosen When initially speaking with Mr. Rosen I felt his demeanor was both rude and aggressive the counseling was not for my self and he came recommended.The first incident with Mr. Rosen when I asked for a more convenient time on Saturdays. His tone and response was both threatening and aggressive and he told me to bad and if i could not meet his time table the child would have to miss his practice.The order clearly states the child not be disrupted.This behavior happened in front of my child then he asked me to go back to his office with him where he then took yet again an aggressive tone trying to bully me by telling me I do not have choice in this matter. At this point I felt threatened and scared by this mans volatile behavior.I again showed up for second appointment on My son called me after his session from upstairs and said Mr. Rosen would like to speak with me My son and Mr. Rosen came down stairs i asked my son to wait in the car so that Mr. Rosen could speak with me. He explained that my child was a good kid and when the next appointment would be then he took a drastic shift and wanted to discuss out relationship as he was telling me this I was trying to explain to him how my son was not happy and I would do my very best to accommodate. Mr Rosen got in my face a screamed at me that HE WAS NOT DONE TALKING TO ME Myson heard his oud yelling in the car I immediately took one step back at this point I thought the man was going to strike me and I firmly believe that if my son again was a witness and heard him yell he would have. I told him that we were done and that you cannot speak to people that was as he stormed off. My son again witnessed and heard him yell at me. I am nto even his patientThis man literally scared the hell out of me and I cannot shake this awful feeling I am truly traumatizedMr Rosen is violent and unstable and has a God complex do your self a favor a steer clear.

I met with him to begin reunification therapy with my son. The next step was for him to meet my son, one on one. After, the three of us would meet.I made a payment of 160 dollars for him to see my son, alone, on October 26th.When the time came, he allowed my sons mother to join the meeting with my son. She has a long history of being a liar and manipulator. She is also pushy and a bully. I did not agree to her being there.His excuse for allowing her presence was that she paid to be there.In my opinion, that is a weak excuse for an act of weakness.Recently I told him I intended to ask the judge to assign a new therapist.I was blunt and direct with him on how I felt. I never raised my voice, used harsh or threatening language.Today, before I got the chance to ask the judge in court for a new therapist, I learned that he asked to be dismissed on his own.Im fine with that, except in his request, he made a leap of logic, claiming that my attitude towards him is an indicator that I am not ready for reunification.I believe Mr. Rosen made these claims for personal, not professional reasons.
