The Windows are made as per our requirements, and each size is measured accurately, hence not only its a perfect fit, but as per our liking. The installers do a great job in installing, they are fast and know the job well. The installation crew is friendly, they protect your furniture by covering with plastic sheets and clean up so well, that it never looks like any work was done in the room. The crew adheres to Covid Protocols. The Windows look beautiful from outside as well from inside. The energy efficiency of windows is felt immediately after installation by the change in temperature inside the room. I would recommend Wallside to everyone, who need to have the windows replaced.Great to be a part of Wallside Family.
Great Customer Service, Fair Price and Quality Windows. Install Team did a great job and was very personable. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because it took several months to get the window. I realize that that was due to Covid and the resulting staffing issues, not Wallside.
The windows themselves seem to be of decent quality and we are so far satisfied with the end result. However, the installation crew was extremely rude and unprofessional and are the sole reason I will not recommend Wallside to anyone in the future.Cigarette butts left all over the exterior of our house, sarcastic remarks and attitude, an individual mocking me for asking a simple question, cut a cable wire and didnt tell us, no apology or even acknowledgement for breaking a new window. The crew tried to tell me that we had to leave it like that and call to have it serviced, but when I am paying a significant amount for what I thought would be quality work, I expect it to be completed the day of installation and not left with a broken window. I requested a new one be installed same day and someone was able to come out and replace it. We were also left with several screens with holes in them that now need to be serviced.I felt very unsettled in my home while they were there. No one took the time to explain anything or ask us if we had questions prior to them ripping out our old windows. Everything felt very rushed and aggressive. No courtesy while walking through our home, left muddy shoeprints on the carpet. Extremely rude and unprofessional crew. I dont know any names except Dan because no one bothered to speak to us.We were really hopeful for a better experience, but ended up being very disappointed and regretful for choosing Wallside. I fully understand that installers are very busy right now, but professionalism should remain at the forefront.
They actually honor their warranty/guarantee! Our windows were installed 15 years ago for the previous homeowner, and when we bought the house it had a big picture window with foggy glass from a seal failure. We thought for sure it would be an expensive fix, and past experiences had us thinking guarantees on these things were mostly a marketing ploy and difficult to actually follow through on.After living with it for a couple years we finally decided to give Wallside a call to see if theyd actually do anything about it. Just a 5-minute polite phone call and a week later someone came out to replace the glass for free. Quick, professional, and no hassle.
We had windows replaced throughout the whole house and today they installed the last of the windows and they don’t match what they did earlier. We lost about 8 inches of glass reveal as seen in these old vs new windows. (the screens are junk.)They ruined the whole look whole outside of our house because as you can see in the photos the frames are all different sizes. The wood trim they did isn’t even the same profile as the trim the did a few months ago and it’s out of level, chunks out of it, mittened corners don’t even meet and the reveal is all over the place. Some reveal is on the top, some on. the sides, some have no reveal and the out side is a mess. They cracked our siding, the caulk job looks horrible, clumps and inconsistent bead size and then the aluminum trim work isn’t even sealed, it’s bent and cracks everywhere, a recipe for major water damage. Our salesman Dennis, just wants to make the sale and then doesn’t help when the problems set it. I use to respect Wallside but they have gone down hill and their customer service is either too busy with a million complaints or they just don’t care because they don’t treat you like they use to. DO NOT USE WALLSIDE!!!! They will ruin you house.
I love my windows! The quality is good and the price is the best around. The installers were very professional, got the job done in one day, and cleaned up well.My only complaint is that some of the caulking is messy.
Great windows, great service, great price! Only complaint is the caulk job on the outside is pretty sloppy. Inside, beautiful work, and if I had been outside paying close attention and said something, Im sure they would have fixed it because everyone was very polite, helpful, and professional. I got many quotes, and Wallside was by far the cheapest, and very good quality. Definitely recommend.
We are a three time repeat customer. Unfortunately this time we are VERY disappointed. I understand it’s a pandemic, however, windows were ordered on February 24th with install date in August. Received a call in July stating install moved to today, October 5th. Received a call this morning “the crew” called in sick. Would you like to reschedule for a day in November or sometime in December?
The complete process from start to finish was outstanding.Adam and his crew came to install our windows and his craftsmanship and attention to detail cant be beat. We are so happy with our new windows!!!!!
All was going well. Salesman and guy who does the measurement didnt see that 5 of my 12 windows had a center mullion that was actually a wall stud that held up the roof. When the installer got there, I asked him to check this, and sure enough, they could not be cut out without building headers. They had to make new windows, and I have to wait another month at least!! Grrrr! The 7 windows that they were able to install look great inside and out. I am pleased with those. The installers, Dan, Rob and Jarrett were great about working with me on a couple of things. They adjusted the outside window wrap so I could side the house afterward. And they worked it out so that I could replace wall covering in the living room between their two installs. We made the best of it, and I think it will work out.
Our windows in our house were original to the house. So our windows were over 40 years old. After my neighbor had Wallside replace his windows, I asked him if he was happy with his new windows. He said he loved them so we got an estimate from Wallside. We had other estimates prior to Wallside’s estimate and the other estimates were crazy expensive. Wallside replaced twenty one windows in my house in just over 8 hours. Their crew arrived on time and did a fantastic job! Very pleased with the whole experience with Wallside. The new windows are awesome and the crew did a great job! Highly recommend Wallside!
We called Wallside because they came recommended by family members. We are lower middle class and when we heard the price our eyes got a little wide and we were skeptical but the Windows we needed replaced gave us not other option than to have a custom window made and installed. After it was all said and done I can 100% say these Windows are WELL worth the price tag. The Windows are beautiful and we’re exactly what we asked for, but more over the service was impeccable. And that’s hard to say nowadays for a lot of businesses. I kid you not, they left the work area cleaner than when they arrived 😂. They were professional and courteous. Showed up on time, got in and out with no fuss. Did an amazing job from start to finish. If you’re looking at the price tag and wondering if these Windows and services are worth it, rest assured they are beyond worth what you’re paying for.
We had 11 windows and 2 door walls installed May 11, 2021. After the installer (now not at Wallside) convinced Mr NOT to put trim on the windows (what?) after realizing that it had to go on Mr called the installer that night, he said they would install the trim, that was mid May and still NO TRIM. It took 2 mo to get a screen that fit and I have 2 cuts into the glass on a door wall I haven’t even been able to tell anyone about because they don’t call back. We have had so many calls to schedule, then cancellations. The sup in Installation will not call us back, I left 3 messages 3 mo ago that were not called back. Yesterday was finally the big install (all day job ?) of trim, NO SHOW NO CALL NO RETURNED CALL. What Are You Doing in your install department and what type of Supervisor do you have that does not call customers back? Get it together Wallside and please get us SCHEDULED and FINISH this job!!
Wallside was very informative and told us how to prepare for our whole-house installation of replacement windows. They arrived right on time, protected our furniture & floors, got to work, and completely cleaned up at completion. So far, we’re thrilled with our 13 new windows and doorwall. They look great from the inside & outside!Hopefully we’ll no longer have drafty windows in the winter, and will notice a difference in our heating bill! 🤞
100 percent satisfied, crew arrived timely, worked efficiently. Respected the inside and exterior of my home. This is second time Ive used this company and would do so in the future if needed. Highly recommend this company.
The installation team did a great job installing the windows. They cleaned everything up before they left, which was great and there was no mess at all. The new windows look wonderful!! I would recommend Wallside Windows to all my family and friends. They are easy and great to work with.
Love this company. Great service and good people. I would give the 6 stars if I could.
They are the best! Been in business almost 80 years n committed to the community!! Great warranty!
Instilling personal were courteous and very polite. Worked in a very well time frame. Windows look awesome. When i ask to show my how they worked they said sure let me explain them to you. They showed me everything. Very satified with all of their work. They cleaned up well and took all the old windows. A one class operation
Would definitely recommend! I am so impressed with these windows and the team that installed them. Weve lived in our house for almost 9 years and only some of our windows have worked. Its so nice to be able to open all of our windows now. Everyone was very nice and helpful and did a wonderful job.
On time installation. Installers were very good. Cleaned up after themselves pretty good. Windows are a medium quality. All windows delivered were too small. This was discovered after all my original windows were removed. New windows were made and delivered within about 6 hours. The installers did put the too small windows in to close the holes until the correct size windows and frames were delivered. Over all it ended well. Still waiting on screens to be delivered. The doorwall (slider) screen door does not fit properly and will need to be adjusted or replaced. Screens are scheduled to be delivered 8 days after the install was completed. Hopefully they will be able to correct the doorwall screen door at that time too. The caulking was done very nice in most areas but around one window it is very thick and lumpy. I was told (by our sales person) that the caulk will take up to one year to fully cure and will shrink to about 1/2 its installed size. Guess time will tell on that point. The price for everything (6 windows and a doorwall) was significantly less than other window companies. If I had a million-dollar house I would have gone with higher quality windows, but with what I have, I think these windows will do just fine. Windows include a 35-year transferrable warranty. They open and close nicely, look good from inside and out. Overall, satisficed and happy with my purchase.Additional comments regarding Codvid-19: One the Wallside website they talk about Covid-19 Safety Procedures (You will see us clean and disinfect frequently used tools and we will avoid sharing tools whenever possible, and We will wear a face mask while inside your home as requested). I did ask that they wear masks when inside my house. One installer never wore a mask. Didnt want to make a scene, so I let it slide, but they really should do as asked. Never saw any disinfecting of shared tools.
The crew that came out to my house to install my 10 windows were great. The completed the job quickly and were very clean. They took the time to show me how everything works and addresses my concerns. The only reason I rated them a 4 star is because 5 of the screens were damaged. I now have to make a service call to get them replaced.
Have used Wallside twice. Very pleased. I would recommend them to anyone.
I recently had Wallside Windows installed and couldn’t be more pleased with the process from start to finish!I requested an in-home quote in later winter, and was pleased with the info that the salesperson provided, as well as the fact that he didn’t pressure me into making decisions or handing over a deposit right then and there (opposite of one of their competitors!!).On the day of installation, I found the crew to be pleasant, professional and very helpful! They cleaned up after themselves and helped with reinstalling window treatment brackets. As for the windows themselves, they are gorgeous and we’re installed beautifully!
We had Wallside replace all the windows on the top floor of our bi-level this November. The sales person was nice, and ordering and measuring the windows was painless.I have numerous issues with the quality of installation. My number one complaint was the copious amount of caulk they used on the exterior of my home. The caulk was also not tooled and only applied with gun pressure or in one windows case just smeared with the installers fingers. They applied so much caulk to my front window that the shutters could not be reinstalled straight or flush.I paid another contractor over $2000 to come and fix the poor installation quality left by Wallside. If you want your home to look like a gingerbread house by all means let Wallside install your windows.
The team came on July 22, 2021 to install all new windows in our Port Huron home. The windows were purchased in March, 2021.The WW agent, who sold us the windows in March, spoke of an area that would need a wood molding installed, and that we would need to purchase this, and stain it. The WW team would install it. When the second WW agent came a few weeks later, he told me that no molding would be needed, that no action on our part was needed. We were good to go. I was wrong to believe him, but he was supposed to know what he was doing.Immediately after the windows were installed in July, I inspected everything. Every window, with one exception, has a space, between the window and the frame on the bottom edge, filled with caulk and painted a dark brown. This is on the inside, not the outside of the house. The brown does not even closely match the color of our windows inside. It looks terrible, sticks out like a sore thumb, and is very unprofessional. No one every spoke to me about caulking or ever asked us about the space to fill. Many window frames are badly scratched on the inside as a result of careless installation. Many windows do not easily go up and down, or easily open out and back in. I discovered that the crew had incorrectly installed finishing wood strips on either side of the windows. As a result, most of the windows are too tight to work properly. For this same reason, one window is very loose when you open it towards you. It is not properly finished. One window is a bathroom has a top sash that is different from all the other windows in our home. WW tells me that this is no doubt because the window was broken and had to be replaced by them. Many latches for locking and unlocking the windows are crooked and misaligned. So, 2-3 days after the installation, I contacted WW with these issues. They came out to inspect over three weeks later. It has been a week since they came. Still no word from WW as to the solution.Hmmmm. Pretty nice windows, bad installation. Im awaiting satisfaction.
They were professional and surpassed anything I could imagine! I had some bad windows that wouldnt open and a window frame with a hole enough big enough for a squirrel to get in and they completely fixed every issue when installing new windows. I cannot say enough. I am still completely shocked at how great they look! Would recommend 1000 times over.
I dont normally write reviews but I am so frustrated with companies and low quality work. The guys that came out were friendly and nice but didnt caulk properly, four of the screens are torn at the bottom, and on two of the windows the screens dont fit properly so already flies are between the screen and window, and there was caulking on my floors that I had to scrub up. I have used Wallside in another home but will not be using them again after this experience. I am so disappointed. Oh and of course after taking your final payment it will take weeks for new screens.
Great experience all around: Matt, our salesman was polite and professional. Answered all of our questions. I appreciated his honesty with timeframe since this happened during COVID! I think Mike came out to measure. He was fast and efficient. And Mike and the whole crew that installed: fast, efficient, and great clean up and explanations on operation and care of windows. Mike and I went to each window to be sure all was working well.Great job!
Estimator that came to our home was courteous and respectful answered all of our questions. Installers were in and out couldn’t believe the job they did, it looks amazing we only had 6 windows replaced Wish I could have them all replaced. Thank you!!!
Wallside windows technician came out to my home to do some repair work under warranty. The technician Stewart Henry did an excellent job servicing and had a vast knowledge of the work that he completed expeditiously. Because of people like Stewart Henry, it makes me want to refer the company and give them return business. I appreciate Stewart going above and beyond.
Despite a significant back order of windows (we ordered in Nov 2020 and could not get an install date until June 2021) I am so glad we went with Wallside. Their quote was the lowest, and their install team was great! Its been a long time since Ive witnessed a group of coworkers genuinely having a good time working together while still getting the job done promptly and with excellent quality. 10/10 would recommend.
I was helping an elderly neighbor with one of her windows that broke. A different neighbor had taken it up to Wallside for repair. I was calling to see if the repair was done and ready for pick up. I waited on the phone for 20 minutes to talk to someone, I know it was 20 minutes because I looked at the timer on my phone. When they answered she said hello, before we get started I need your address. I answered that I was calling about my neighbors window that had been dropped off for repair and that I only know her name, I dont have her address. CLICK she hung up. I patiently waited for 20 minutes to be treated like that??? How was I supposed to know that I needed her address. And now Im supposed to do what, get the address and wait another 20 minutes to find out there is some other piece of information I dont have and get hung up on again. Screw Wallside, there are other places to get windows repaired with much better customer service.
Very professional. I really appreciated the prompt answering when I called them. The installers were very clean, and very fast. The window install was perfect. I give them the perfect score. Thank you guys!!
Installers were amazing! Very friendly and professional. I have a son with Autism and one of the window installers has a son with Autism also and totally could relate with me and my son having a complete meltdown in front of him. Highly recommend! Very please with the work they did.
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Wallside, and I’m kind of a tough sell!Mark in sales was so great when we worked with him a few years ago when replacing our door walls. I was so happy that he was still with Wallside when we wanted to inquire about all new windows in our home. Mark educates you and gives great professional guidance so you can make the right choices for your family.Cliff and the crew that came over to install the windows were amazing. Respectful of our home & worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner and did it so WELL! Cliff went above and beyond for us with some siding trim that he did NOT have to offer to do.We could not ask for a better experience.Big thanks to Mark, Cliff, Kyle, and everyone else involved with getting us these beautiful new windows!
Kathy K. I enjoyed your presence. She was very knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with her especially being a first time home owner and working with the original house window from 1960s. I end buying 3 windows instead of two. I will buy more when the time is right for sure. The price was very reasonable. Thank you for this experience Kathy K
The over all experience was good. Just was a mess to clean up after. The Installers threw debris out the windows into my neighbors driveway. Told her she needss to park in the street, it was trash day. So she had to clear her driveway to use it.They left debris on our front lawn and have to come back to install a screen they left behind. The windows , trim and caulking look great. The windows are beautiful.
Windows were installed on date promised and the installers were very good. I am very happy with my windows. I have used Wallside in the past and will certainly use them again.
Installation was earlier than expected and installers were excellent and very personal. Exceptionally pleased with quality. Surpasses what we expected. Wish we had done it years ago
Kurt did a great job installing our door wall. He was very meticulous installing and cleaning up. I love the quality of the door and all the features that came with it.
The whole crew from Gen that came out to show us the windows and give us the estimate to Jim and his crew that installed the windows were all professional and did a great job. We ordered our windows in April and they were install last Thursday. We knew going in it was going to be a wait with the installation. Jim called the morning of installation to let us know about the time of arrival and he showed up first to get things ready for his crew. He made sure the house was ready for them to get here and get started as soon as they arrived. He talked us through the process and once completed he and another member made sure we were comfortable with the way all the windows looked and operated before they left. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking to replace windows.
They say they are the factory! Contract signed in January, promised date of installation was first week of May, which they did. Crew handed a letter and said that they cant install the screens. Buy said it will be done within a week. It has been more than two months since windows were installed, and we are in the middle of the summer, still no screens! Multiple calls to customer support were typical, We are trying oir best types. If you are the factory, why so much of delay? And I hope they do understand that screens are usable during summers, not winters. Would not recommend.
We had a great experience with Wallside and love the results. The salesman who first visited was extremely helpful. We didnt feel as though he was trying to push us into spending more. In fact, he made us aware of savings that we didnt know were even available to us. The team that came to install our new windows was also friendly, professional, and hardworking - changed out 12 windows in just four hours -- just as they promised. I would definitedly recommend them to others.
These guys were excellent, courteous, and friendly. Most importantly, their work was flawless and proceeded faster than I expected. One cannot do any better than that.
Matt and crew were awesome! So polite and very professional. We had 11 windows replaced including a very large, custom built bay window. They called me a half an hour before they showed up and were done in 5.5 hours! I was expecting them to take all day, so I very pleased that they were so quick and efficient. 10/10 would recommend.
I cannot speak highly enough of Kenny and his crew! We have had THE WORST luck with contractors for every renovation we have done from cement, fencing, plumbing, etc. Wallside Windows gave us faith in people again and made us feel like maybe our place isnt actually cursed! Truly, from the time the representative came out to do the free estimate, 0% financing for 7 years, to the communication until the day of installation, timeliness, to the actual professionalism and speed in the installation by Kenny and his team. I cannot recommend them enough. If youre thinking of getting new windows - JUST DO IT and CALL WALLSIDE WINDOWS!
The process was smooth until the end when there was no follow up on the arrival date. The windows are beautiful and it was very convenient to have them all done at once. I will use them again.
Our salesperson was friendly, knowledgeable, and non-pushy. With the price and apparent quality of the product, we chose to go with Wallside Windows. Communication was thorough and prompt; the installation process is where I take issue. The installation team arrived on time, were courteous enough, and finished the job within six hours or so. I was not happy or impressed with the clean-up, however. We had six windows installed: two on our main floor and four on the upper floor. While they placed cardboard for their route through most of the house, they did not place any kind of protection on our stairs, which I do not understand. Our home has its original hardwood floors, and so I got to spend the rest of the afternoon cleaning up after they left. When the installation occurred on January 20, there was some snow on the ground, but we found considerable materials and debris in the yard as well. As snow has melted, we have discovered more and more of the debris -- and a considerable number of screws in our driveway. It is only because of my husbands diligence in finding and removing these screws and some divine intervention that one or several did not become lodged in our car tires. While I can understand not every particle being taken care of because of snow, the amount of debris we have had to pick up after is quite ridiculous and ultimately reflects poorly on anyone involved that day. Severely disappointing. Either we had a poor installation team who does not give great care to details or I have a higher standing of what is clean than other reviewers.
The process was wonderful. the crew that was sent to us headed up by Jim and John was outstanding. It was the best experience.
Really great experience from start to finish. Sales rep was good and offered different options with pros and cons and was not pushy but just provided good info, follow up measure person was in and out and was very professional. Install crew was great, on time, quick, very professional and did a great job. I have 3 more windows to do on this house and will probably have them do my sons house too. Definitely recommend.
Overall the experience was good, and the prices were reasonable. The reason for not a perfect 5-star is after the install, I noticed some defects within the first week of using the windows that werent apparent at the time of install. So far, the defects I have found are that one of our end vent sliding windows are missing drains. We have two identical end-vent large picture windows, and one of them has plastic flaps installed to let out water Im guessing. The other just has very noticable holes in the frame. The other issue is also with the end vent windows. The security stop on one of the windows is installed backwards. meaning if you open the security flap and accidentally open the window, itll prevent the window from closing, instead of preventing the window from opening. I also noticed an issue after the fact that our siding is bowing now in front of the same end vent picture window that has the missing vents. This window seemed to be slightly miss-measured as the installers had a really tough time getting it to fit. They had to cut the window frame down to squeeze it in. The siding above the window is now bowing out, Im guessing from the tight squeeze of the fit. (It was NOT like that before the new windows.) Seems like small details, but really should have been found in quality control. Pricing was good and the quote experience was great. Up front, honest, and personable. I do recommend overall.
This is the 2nd time we have used wallside windows for window installation. They are quality windows for a reasonable price. The whole process from beginning to end went smoothly and professionally. We would definitely recommend them and would use them again in our next home.
We really appreciated Mike, who came out to our house probably 3 or 4 times over 5 years as we zeroed in on the buying process, was direct and helpful. We love our new windows and especially love that they were installed MONTHS prior to the initial timeline.Great job!
The communication for preparation and arrival was clear. The installation was efficient and quick. Job well done! I recommend Wallside Windows!
They were very timely but if they would have worked slower they wouldnt have forgotten one of our screens. They also left one of the screen dividers in the yard instead of in the window where it belonged. The two window ledges they installed were too large compared to the original ones.
Very Pleased with the installation. My crew was outstanding. Complete job, excellent clean up. Very Professional. G day!!
Scott and his crew are an excellent team. My home was well taken care of while they were installing my new windows, which I love. The professionalism and craftsmanship were outstanding. After the clean up, you would never even know they were there. Thank you!
The crew did a wonderful job and they cleaned up everything. I am happy with my new windows. I had 28 windows and it took 2 days and they did a great job!
The installation team led by Brandon was friendly, courteous, and professional. They exceeded my expectations. Two previous visitors from Wall Side told me I would see damage to my bath tiles. But Brandon installed the bath window over the tub without the slightest damage.
This is the second time that we have had Wallside install windows in our home. We used them years ago at our first house and we were so happy with them we used them again. They are the best!!!
Windows are beautiful, installed quickly, mess cleaned up, explained how they worked, (I received the swing inside type for easy cleaning), and they left! I love how my new windows look, and operate with the touch of a finger, they literally glide!
I had 13 windows installed by Wallside in April. One of the windows has now cracked. It is impossible to get through to service department by phone. I sent an email on August 31 requesting service, and received an acknowledgment in return. To date, I have not received any further communication from the company. I also had a problem with the installation, which was eventually resolved, so I am less than pleased with this company.
We really like our whole house of new windows and the sliding door. The install crew was very good, cleaned up everything. All involved were professional and responsive. Nice job Wallside.
The men that service my Windows where great. To the installation to the clean up and to the information I asked them
Their quote was a fraction of the other window installation quote I got, and their service was much more streamlined. The rep who I initially worked with was straightforward and didnt do any goofy demos, just showed me a window, explained the options, measured, and set up my installation date. So simple! The installation date was a bit further out than I had hoped, but they showed up on the day, were in reasonable contact before and during the install, and cleaned up after themselves. Install on 9 new windows on the first floor took ~2-2.5h. Ill use them again for the second floor windows in the future.
Wallside has been a great window company. The installation went well. But the only issue was the lack of three screens that were on backorder... The customer service was good at following up with me...
I love my new windows!!! From my salesman Steve to the installers, everyone I dealt with was very professional. I did my research and went with Wallside. They werent the cheapest but Steve was the only one to call me back after our initial appointment to see if I had any questions. My new windows are beautiful and my neighbors are all jealous! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
We had used Wallside a couple of years back for 3 windows and this year we had bought 2 more to replace kitchen windows. The service is on point, from the appointment for in home consult to the time frames given in between and installation; they provide step by step instructions on what to expect and when. The follow through is impressive, convenient, and hassle-free! Price is reasonable, great quality windows, clean, professional, and friendly. We will be returning customers in the future and would highly recommend Wallside Windows!
I love my new windows but the service was awful. They brought the wrong window and we had to wait a week with only a piece of foam board where the window should’ve been. After waiting a week and once again the wrong size window.
This team was FANTASTIC very professional and organized pro’s. Two guys working on windows one guy working on door wall one guy feeding supplies to them and then cleaning up as the go. WOW what a class act. Done in less then 4hrs 6 windows and 1 sliding glass doors wall. It was a Secure feeling to watch them care on how they’re installed them RIGHT the first time. And most importantly we do not have to put plastic sheets for winter LOLTHANK YOU WALLSIDESatisfied customerSterling Heights
The Windows are actually a very nice vinyl window. We notice a difference in sound and warmth of our home right away. We priced many manufacturers and for the budget decided to go with Wallside. I also had several friends that had them so I got the chance to actually see them and get honest opinions. We did have 1 scratched window pane, 2 screens with small holes in them after installation and our screen door lock broke so they are replacing them with no issues so they stand behind the product. The reason I am only giving 3 stars and maybe should have made it 2 stars is due to the quality of the trim work. Once the install team heard we were painting the trim they basically just slapped it up. On about half the windows the mitered corner did not meet. They were actually about a quarter inch off in many cases. The corners also were not flush so one side of the molding was higher (proud) than the other. I also found where they bent a couple nails and calked over it to hide it instead of pulling it out. The interior calk job was pretty rough so I ended up redoing it myself. When I called they did put me in touch with the crew chief and after seeing the pictures I sent, he apologized and offered to have someone come out and redo all the trim work. I guess it’s disappointing because I specifically asked the sale person about installation crews and he stated they are all good or they would be working for Wallside. I’m not sure what happened with our specific crew but I consider the quality of the trim work to be at beginner level. We also had some damage on walls that had no widows and in our hallway. It looked to be caused by carelessness with either leaning the windows against the walls or hitting them with their drill drivers. My walls were also left very dirty with hand prints and such afterwards. One thing I would say is if you decide to use Wallside make sure to do a thorough walk-though at the end and inspect every window. Note down any damage, take pictures and contact the office.
I am a repeat customer (3 different homes) and I would never use anyone else, replaced every window. The windows are amazing in quality and look great. The installation team was friendly and professional, they cleaned up everything (I had one window doubled in size so I expected a mess) and when the work was done I only had to sit back and enjoy the end result.
Install was ready on time per schedule. Some minor issues noted but will be quickly resolved. Used Wallside at old house as well and the customer service and followup is excellent. 2 new doorwalls and custom office window at new house. Great quality and attention to detail on the install. Very satisfied.
The installation was Fast & job well done, but if you require service Good Luck trying to get anyone to answer the phone. On hold for over 15 minutes finally called purchasing they picked up on the second ring, but were unable to assist. VERY disappointed on their ability to serve what they installed years earlier. 5 star installation, 1.5 star on follow up service when needed.
The person who did the estimate was great and really patient. The measure person was efficient. The installers were amazingly fast. They put down tarps to protect my floor. They told me it would take two hours but I don’t think it took 40 minutes. It was small job of two windows and now the difference in clarity of the new windows vs the old is amazing.
This is my third house and the third time I’ve used wallside the installation crews are ALWAY very professional and respectful of your property and always cleanup before the leave. And with Wallside they stand behind their no hassle guarantee. I’ve already recommended Wallside to a few of my friends and they’ve been just as happy
Installation crew showed up on time and efficiently completed the job. Clean up could of been better. Were also missing a screen connector on one of the windows. I informed the installation crew. Still waiting.
Wallside was the best from the beginning with Gen to the end with Al and his crew that did the installation. Our windows are beautiful and our only regret is that we didnt do this sooner. WALLSIDE is the place to go for great looking windows, price, and peace of mind knowing the job was done right.
I am very happy with the installation of my two new door walls. The young men were very professional and paid attention to detail... even with having to contend with bees. They also cleaned up after themselves and the doorwalls look great. Im very pleased.
From day one wallside was very personalVery helpful kind theyre welcome at my houseAny time chris and fred installed all new custom made windows and door wallVery fast and efficient custom trimmed out all installed caulking inside and out cleaned up inside and out did not leave one scrap of trash any where I am very impressed withChris and Fred I would recommend wallsideFor any of your window needsThankyou for looking.James harbin
Mostly a very good experience, but there was an accident that resulted in our oven door being completely shattered by the end of an air compressor hose. The subcontracted installation company hasnt called me about it yet, but Im hoping they can do something about it for me. But the new windows look fantastic and operate perfectly.
They came and were very professional in all their actions. They cleaned up after themselves a day I love the windows. They ans6all my questions and even suggested where to place the blinds.
The crew was very efficient & neat. Kenny, the lead man, was very knowledgable & answered all our questions.
The crew was awesome! They installed nine windows efficiently and with great care. The guys were very professional and friendly. I will use Wallside Windows again for a few other Windows we will want replaced at some point. Very happy with the whole process and the outcome.
Ok experience. Took 6 months to get the window installed. Both technicians had cigarettes hanging from their mouths the entire time (including INSIDE my house) and therefore were not wearing masks inside the house. However, quick, professional, mess free, installation.
They completed 11 windows in about 4 hours. They cleaned up and were polite. The quality and price were both great. The exterior aluminum wrapping looks great except for one little detail which I can get over. 😊
So far extremely happy. We had a bit of a wait with covid. I understood what I was paying for and all my options. Once the contract was signed there was nothing else to do. My date was well in advance. For a 2000 square foot home, they were in on time at 9:30 am and out by 1:30 pm. Impressive. Easy process and I feel fairly secure with our contract.
I would truly love to give Wallside a 5 star review, in fact I have held off for months writing my review in the hope that they could turn things around, but at this point I am very disgruntled. The window ordering and installation process was seamless. The Wallside representative was excellent and so helpful, the windows fit perfectly and are of great quality, the installers were courteous, friendly, and efficient. The entire issue I have with Wallsides service and completion of my order is their screens. When the windows were installed I was told that because of COVID backlogs, they were running a little behind. They were able to give me 1 screen and told me the rest would be following in a week.A couple weeks went by without any screens arriving or notification of a delay, so I called and was told that things were running behind and I would hear from them when they could give me more information and a new installation date. My windows were installed at the beginning of June and I was not called until the beginning of August with a new screen installation date. I am reasonable, I understand that COVID has caused many delays in every industry. I was perfectly alright with Wallside when they upfront told me when ordering windows that it would take 6 months because of these delays. What I don’t appreciate is inconsistent follow through and communication.I have been very patient with the additional screen delay. Especially considering the big storm in August knocked my power out for 4 days. No power, no AC, no ability to open my windows without mosquitos and other bugs. It was miserable. A couple days after my power came back on the installer arrived with my screens, but did not bring a complete set and some of the screens did not fit the windows. In total they were able to give me 4 screens that day. I was still missing 5. Unfortunately, the missing screens were for 2 bedrooms and the kitchen, the highest use areas. I was told to call Wallside to follow-up on when this could be fixed and new screens ready.I was given a new installation date for about 2 weeks later. They called the night before to give me an arrival window and when the installer showed up, he only had 3 of 5 screens with him. This time NONE of the screens fit the windows. The installer measured the windows yet again. I called immediately after the installer left to notify Wallside of the situation and get on the list for yet another installation date. I was told to expect a call back later that day or the next day at the latest with an update. I received no update. I called again after the weekend and was given the same message. Again, no update. I called again and was told that an update was finally available as of that morning, my screen order had been resubmitted and would be ready in 3 weeks. It took a full week after the failed installation to resubmit my order.Assuming the remainder of my screens are actually ready on my next install date, it will have taken Wallside 17 weeks/about 4 months (which does NOT include the 6 months wait time for the original window installation) to successfully make my 10 window screens. In total a 10-month process. This is absurd. They have wasted my time with failed installations, they have wasted their own time and resources with incorrectly sized screens, I have not been able to open most of my very exciting new windows all summer and now looking to be half of the fall, instead of enjoying fresh air I have had to use fans and run my AC significantly more than planned due to the continued delays. You would think at this point they would be trying to make my order a priority or at least trying to give me an explanation why only a portion of my ordered screens arrive for installation each time? or why it took a week to resubmit my order this time around and an additional 3 weeks are needed to make the 5 screens that are already so so delayed? or why they keep failing to follow through on their promised updates? But that has not been the case and I am very disappointed.
We bought our house October 2020. Our bay window was rotted and infested with ants but still under warranty. This widow was custom built and installed by Wallside. It was the pandemic but it took them 2 months to come even look at it. They took measurements and said they would return in February. In February they came back with the wrong size window they promised to get it right but then came the excuses. We dont make that size window anymore we contracted that window out and we no longer use that company. So they said we would have to get a different kind of window. I was very upset I love the bay window so once again they set another appointment two months later just to measure for a different window. That when our realtor got involved she explained that the window is under warranty and they have to honor that agreement. We contacted wallside agin and after speaking to managers they said they would fix the window not replace a month later a service repair guy come with a new wooden bottom for the window but no windowsReally the window is rusted and leaking but this is your fix. Im out done at this point so my husband took over and after cussing a few people out wallside finally agreed to replace the window. Unfortunately they played us one more time by scheduling for August 5 but called the day before to reschedule again for Aug 25. This was the worst experience. I would suggest if you use this company which I would not ever refer by worst enemy dont order a custom window they contract that work out and who knows if they still use same company. Their commercial says they do but thats false advertisement. Furthermore I believe that they already had lost out on money and time when they brought the wrong window in February and was just trying to play us because we were uneducated on the process. Thats dishonest and anyone who ever ask me or my family about who we suggest for windows I will say anyone but wallside
I had a great experience from the salesman Dennis to the installers. I would highly recommend Wallside Windows ! Everyone was friendly and professional. The installers work together great as a team, cleaned up after themselves and answered all questions.
We recieved 3 quotes on windows for our home. Wallside was the first quote and they had the best price out of all the quotes. Our salesman was very nice and professional and very knowledgeable in the products. When it was time for the installation the installation crew called and said what time they would be there and they were right on time. They moved very quickly and efficiently in removal of the old windows and they made at sure to lay down plastic to protect the floors. After everything was done they cleaned up very well. They installed 19 windows in our home and they did it in 6.5hrs. Great experience overall!! Thank you very much.
Great job, very professional, very particular about their work. Great clean up!!
I am overall satisfied with my window installation (11 windows). They completed the project in just 5 hours. Some chipped paint around the windows, but its a small price to pay for an entire house of new windows and an easy fix. I asked the foreman to take a couple sets of blinds (along with the windows) that I no longer wanted. He told me absolutely!, but the blinds were left behind. Along with a relatively large bag of scrap wood on my driveway. And there are a few shreds of insulation I will have to clean out of my gutters. But I am overall satisfied. I dont know what good value is for a window. I have no frame of reference. But I am happy with these windows!
Excellent experience from sales rep through install team. Very pleased with look and quality.
The two men that installed my patio door were very professional and courteous. They did a quick neat job and my door looks beautiful.
Wallside does NOT stand by their Warranty!Had 19 windows replaced (all windows in house) back in March. One window was not properly caulked, second floor. So in June when it started to rain often, it leaked and water traveled down a near by pipe into the 1st floor living room. Naturally had a hole in the celling due to drywall damage and also exploratory to find out what happened. During that time it rained some more and it continued to leak just into a bucket now.We called a plumber, no leaks. Roof checked out, no leaks. Called Wallside to have them send someone to check out a window on same wall as the leak. They sent two guys, and checked it out. Sure enough, the caulk across the entire top of the window was too thin and pulled away from the house all the way across. They took pictures, these guys acknowledged it was Wallsides fault, re-caulked the window and told us they would include everything in their report and to call the office the next day to follow up for damage compensation. The next day, it rained like CRAZY! And guess what, no leaks! They fixed it! So we called the Office to follow up. They told us to contact them again after we got drywall repaired so we could hand over invoices and would be expecting to hear from us soon.We got the drywall repaired and the ceiling painted etc...Called Wallside back, and this is where things went down hill fast. They had no idea what we were talking about. What leak? What guys we sent to your house? What leaky celling. We have been on the phone with them since July and its gone nowhere. We will never get our money for the repairs. The total cost of repairs is $2600. Calling gets me nowhere so I have no other options with them now.So any one reading this. Wallside does NOT stand by their warranty!Stay away from them. Spend the extra bit of money and go with someone else for piece of mind. I wish I would have.
The window installation went very smooth. The job was completed in one day and the crew was very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Very happy with our new windows and sliding glass door.
Overall a fantastic experience! From the initial consultation to the installation of the product. The installers were punctual, professional and finished in a timely matter. Even through a spring snow storm. I can’t say enough good things about wall side. I will be sure to give them a good referral to anyone shopping for new windows.
Wallside did it again! You see this is my second time using Wallside. They were awesome 15 years ago and on a different property right now! Wallside Exceeded my expectations on professionalism, customer service, and custom quality windows. No mess or debris left upon removal of old windows. The foreman and crew were phenomenal craftsmen skilled at measuring, cutting, and custom installation. They were professional, prompt, kind and courteous. And I get a 35 year warranty, energy efficient argon gas windows that with my receipt mean big discounts with dte, and a low heating /cooling bill. Thank you Wallside- I’m so happy I called you!If your energy bill is sky high, you can see curtains moving during winter because of poor or weathered window installation/insulation—-Call Wallside! For your pleasure I’ve included before and after pics. Enjoy.
