I googled and found Mark. I called Mark at 4:01pm on a Saturday. Dropped off my 10 knives at 4:15pm and picked them up at 5:05pm...the same afternoon. Talk about service! I would highly recommend Mark for knife sharpening and prompt service. BTW the knives were in great shape only after Mark sharpened them to perfection. MO

Great job !!I forgot what a sharp knife was like when cooking. Mark is a friendly guy easy to work with and very timely . He had my knives ready in a few hours. they are nice and sharp. I used them immediately preparing a meal for the next day. I am very pleased.

Can’t tell you if he’s good, I can tell you he doesn’t answer the phone or texts like as advertised.3 separate calls, two texts over the span of a week, i did get one answer on text with no follow up, so that’s neat I guess.Simple question is all I had.I guess business is good, because it’s very obvious he doesn’t need yours.

Highly recommended!!! We have a set of Japanese Shun knives received as a wedding gift. We typically send them back to the manufacturer for sharpening which is pretty inconvenient. We just used Art of Sharpening instead and couldn’t be happier. Less then 24 hour turnaround and “artistically sharpened”... Minimal down time and friendly and professional service!!!

Excellent experience. I had a 14 piece cutlery knife block set and a 12 piece stainless steel steak knife set that were so dull I was strongly considering tossing them all and buying new ones. I found the Art of Sharpening online and after an easy drop off I received the knives back the next day. Not only did I get them back quicker than previously thought, Mark happened to be around my neighborhood and was able to deliver them to me!It’s been about a week now and I’ve gotten to use just about all the knives. They are like new. It’s actually fun to chop vegetables and cook again. Thanks Mark, I will definitely be using your sharpening skills in the future.

I dont even know where to begin. Mark is awesome. He is a true master of his work. I have never had a sharper knife than ones I got back from him. For the price he does it you bet Ill be seeing him again. Kitchen knifes are done. Lawnmower blade next. And then my collection of knives next. I had an old but very good quality folding pocket knife that I thought was ruined due to my lack of sharpening skills. I brought it to Mark and he sharpened it like the professional that he is. Im very happy to have my knife back, then next day, restored with a precision edge. I would definitely recommend bringing you knifes to Mark to have them sharpened professionally.

Stupendous help from Mark in sharpening my knives.I was looking for someone near me who could sharpen a single bevel Yanagiba knife. (long blade designed primarily for thin slices of raw fish as I make sushi very frequently)So I found The Art of Sharpening on Google and took the leap, I dropped off my knives with Mark and I got my knives back very fast from him even with it being a weekend.He was friendly and it was a great experience overall with an excellent price per inch.And my knives were well taken care of and most importantly EXTREMELY sharp. I included some pictures, the edge is very well done and my knives are now sharper than they even were when I received them and much sharper than I personally could get them.I HIGHLY recommend taking your knives to get done here.Thank you, Ill be coming back for your help when I need my knives sharpened.
