My husband and soon-to-be 9 year old son have been with Martial Arts America for a few years now and we are very happy. My husband was very particular in what he was looking for. He wanted a good workout, but he also wanted a place that cared about us as people and not just a payment. We are made to feel like family. Both my husband and son work very hard in their classes and are made to feel like they are earning their ranks and not being given them. We will continue to patronize Martial Arts America and be very satisfied with our choice.

Great place for family oriented Tae Kwon Do as well as for the serious martial artist. Over the years Master Dan has promoted and retained quality Black Belt talent that help the club along in its pursuit of excellence. The club has achieved several national awards in forms and fighting and continues to keep an up-to-date program for its members. A quality martial arts program can be hard to find and you won’t be disappointed with the training at Martial Arts America.

My husband and I enrolled our older son at Martial Arts America at age four. We chose the sport because of the research showing improved focus, self-regulation and positive social behaviors for children engaged in taekwondo. While we have been very pleased with his progress in all these areas since he started, taekwondo has also helped his self-confidence, which was a big motivator in our enrolling our younger son. His self-concept and confidence has improved considerably since he started. In the kids’ world where “everyone gets a trophy,” it is refreshing to see the satisfaction our boys feel when they earn their belts. Grand Master Dan is a strict (in a great way) and expects a lot from his students. His students in turn rise to the occasion and value his positive feedback. Master Donavan is as patient as he is kind. Together they create a fun atmosphere in which the kids can be themselves while they learn. Our boys often talk about what life will be like for them when they obtain their black belts. We could not be happier with our experience at Martial Arts America.

Martial Arts America is a world class Tae Kwon Do program - we love it here. Master Dan has a quality program for both kids and adults - my son and I both have been going here for many years. Their rates are competitive, and they are the real deal not a belt factory.

Martial Arts America is a phenominal school for people of all ages. My kids have learned so much more than just the art of Tae Kwon Do from Master Dan and Donovan. The teaching has physical, mental, and emotional components that make it more than just martial arts instruction. My kids are encouraged to achieve goals which they feel are beyond their grasp but Master Dan and Donovan are attentive and great instructors and my children are surprised by what they can accomplish. Somehow Master Dan and Donovan are never surprised; they know their students potential and tailor their instruction expertly for each student. They have high expectations for their students, massive amounts of patience, and they take great pride in their school and their art. My children have gained self-confidence, physical conditioning, focus, and mental agility through their attendance and they look forward to class every day and are hoping to compete in upcoming tournaments. I think they will take great pride in representing Martial Arts America and are looking forward to testing themselves in a tournament environment.
