Coming back today to save time reminds me why I drive across town to Himes + Hillsborough. Washer 6 flooded with a bad seal, but theres no phone number to call so theres water everywhere, which is a slip and fall hazard. Washer 6 doesnt spin most of the time. It hangs up and sits still. Dryers havent been cleaned in some time.Its almost empty on Sunday, which at first I thought was a blessing since the other one is packed and I might wait almost an hour for a washer to be free... but now Im happy to wait the hour for an open washer on Himes.

Machine did not work took my money on the large washer and the dryer. There was no contact information posted if you had a problem. Not happy with this place.

Some machines not functioning well, for example selecting hot wash will tumble laundry without adding water until you change to warm setting. A drier collected $2 but refused to start. Two trips to the convenience store further east on Kennedy, reputed to be responsible for the place, did get me a promisse to inform the owner but no refund. As in how do we know you are not lying. Another time I waited 2 hrs for someone to show up to turn off a washing machine that was tumbling my clothes without adding any water and with no way to stop it let alone removing my clothes. I still use the place regularly, there being no other convenient laundromat nearby. There are some new machines that seem to work as exoected.

Cheap and efficient just be careful not to use the broken ones and lose your quarters

I do not have a lot of experience with public laundromats. Our washer and dryer were out of commission due to construction. The change machine and equipment functioned well, and I was there for less than an hour.Unfortunately the space is dirty, and Im not sure I would want to do laundry alone at night.

Put a quarter in before you start the dryer to make sure it is actually hot

Well... were in Florida, theres no air conditioner and a bunch of washers and dryers generating more heat, and all you have to help the situation is a big sliding glass wall.The dryers seem to need work done, because my clothes were still damp, even after extending the cycle a few times (which I really didnt want to because it was so hot out)The whole time, youre being eaten alive by mosquitos.Could have been cleaner, but it wasnt horrible in that regard.

I took my friend here so that she could do a load of laundry......the attendant that works there was cleaning the tables that people fold their clean laundry on with the same dirty mop that she had just finished mopping the floor with. Not only is that nasty, with everything that is going on with covid 19 and new coronavirus infections popping up everyday this is an unsafe practice very unsanitary and very careless. I will be reporting this.

Place is dirty, they have homeless bums constantly asking for money. Several of the dryers had no heat, place isnt very sanitary. It also has no restrooms, vending machines take your money and dont get your product you paid for!

Wasted 1.50 on a dryer that didnt work. Nothing was posted to make aware the malfunction.

Need to have dryers fixed, low heat or no heat. Put a sign up at least.

Its clean, visible from the street. If u have any issues theres a marathon gas station to the west of the laundromat. Hes the owner and hell reimburse you what u have lost. Theyre pretty good at getting someone to come fix them if theres any problems.

You have to check the dryers are you will lose your money

I give it 2 stars because its 24 hours, the change machine works, and they keep it clean. But the people who come to clean it are rude as hell. If you ask them a question they pretend not to speak English then when they think you cant hear them theyll talk to each other in English! They will push their way in front of you to wipe the machines off, it doesnt matter to them if youre in the middle of taking your laundry out or putting it in. They dust the dryer lint filters right by where youre folding clothes while powerful fans blow it all back on your clean laundry. ALWAYS make sure you only put 1 quarter in the dryer and be sure it works because every day its a new dryer thats not working. To get your money back you have to go down the street to a gas station and hope the guy will give it to you. We watched the cleaning ladies get in a girls face then call the cops on her and have her trespassed when she was trying to do her laundry. Very ridiculous, but again, its 24 hours and close to home, so we come here

Bum sleeping on the floor inside this location. 5 more homeless people on the outside looking strung out. They beg for money. Dryers and washer work great!

When you need a bigger washer and dryer

I give ine star bc we have lost quit a bit of money with broken washers and dryers and the people that come in periodically could careless! Most of the time its dirty. The biggest washer they have doesnt actually clean your clothes either so steer clear of the big washer! If you want to be continuously asked for money from the homeless, this is your spot! We will be going to another laundry mat from here on out!

Bums are always lurking around here asking customers for money. I paid for a wash and the machine wont work and theres no sign or info to contact the owner, this place is the worst of the worst stay away for your safety
