We had an awesome experience at the location over by Oystercatchers! We got a tandem kayak and were able to see dolphins swimming around us. The water was really warm, views were beautiful, and the guy working at the stand was really friendly and knowledgeable! Thank you for a wonderful time.

I was with my family and we had planned on paddle boarding. Lots of fun! Got to see some wildlife. Sand sharks, a dolphin, cool birds. Robert was our host...very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend. We went to the Grand Hyatt location and didnt have to stay at the hotel to use this adventure.

Perfect area for a first time kayaker. Large area to kayak. Friendly staff member. We did get caught on a sand bar for a hot minute when we were coming back in to return the kayak. So I guess one should be aware of low tide times. LOL newbie lesson.

This was my first time paddle boarding . The attendant who was present at 10:30 am was very helpful and explained me the tips tricks to paddle .He was very patient and answered all my queries . It was fun paddling with bay Breeze paddle adventures .I would definitely recommend this place .

This was my first time trying a water sport & I was quite intimidated buy a larger body of water. I must say Robert was wonderful from beginning to end & made us feel more at ease. Definitely enjoyed ourselves & will surely do this again!

Rescheduled from a previous cancellation due to weather. Was not where I expected it to be located, but downtown at the marriot and under a different company name. Went to both locations on their website and finally went to a third location. Was able to switch from single kayaks to a double since I was with a different person, but the seats in the double kayak were attached with a bungee in the back and a broken clip in the front, so they didnt sit up and we kept having to adjust. The one the the back, laid flat,so zero back support. Paddles didnt have hand grips, so when they were wet, your hands just slid. Kayak was super uncomfortable, so we just gave up after about 20 minutes.

Overall, the experience was one to remember for a lifetime! (I MAY have wiped out a couple times 🤣) Was a WINDY day so we had to put in some extra muscle to keep from drifting away into the Bay LOL got to paddle with a few dolphins though! 🥰 …the only opportunity to improve on is that sometimes I forget “island time” happens in some “touristy” activities in Tampa/St. Pete. Didn’t start on time and a little scattered with checkin but super chill about how long we were out paddle boarding. LOVED this and definitely wanna go again with my sister! Thank you so much!

Excellent place to go paddle boarding or kayaking. We are regulars and always see wildlife like stingrays, dolphins and manatees.

It was too windy to fully enjoy the PB experience but the attendant Josh was very helpful and polite.

Unfortunately they overbooked and my family and I could not go into the water together. They did offer a paddkeboard over kayak that was rented, but I have knee issues and can endure a paddleboard.If someone books 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards that is what should be offered.

Horrible kayaks. . Had to paddle our entire trip or the kayak would spin us in circle. Ive kayaked for years never exsperienced this. When I told the male employee he just smirked. #badcustomerservice #neveragain

In the Grand Hyatt resort property, this quiet little spot is a hidden gem! There is a canal for beginners and Tampa Bay for all levels. SUP and kayaking available. Hilton has a bar service for when your finished with your adventure.

Nice experience and exploration time.

My husband and I rented a jet ski for one hour. They didn’t fill it up with gas and it ran out of gas 30 minutes into our time. We had wait in the middle of Tampa Bay for them to bring out a gas while baking in the sun. We did not get to use the jet ski for the full time we paid for. The gentleman who rented the jet ski to us spoke with the owner about refunding our money. The owner was rude and would not offer a partial refund. Now we are having to deal with a credit card dispute. Stay away from this unprofessional business.

My boyfriend and I went to Tampa for a quick vacation. We had planned to rent jet ski’s from this company. We called and a Danielle answered the phone very rudely I might add. She was not informative nor enthusiastic whatsoever. We went to their location in hopes to rent jet ski’s. There was one person, Jack, running the stand and he told us that we would not be able to rent that day but perhaps the next day. Danielle told us that we would be able to, but we get there and couldn’t? Seems like no one within this “company” communicates. We make an appt for 12 the next day and leave.The next day we follow up with Jack and he gives us EeNor’s #. We try to call him twice and he finally answers on the 2nd attempt, rudely. He tells us straight up that we won’t be able to rent from them. Did ANY of these people let alone the owner, Danielle, planning on letting us know that? NOPE. Do not rent from this company. Unprofessional and a waste of time.

My wife and I did sup lessons with Danielle. It was pretty windy which made it a little challenging for a first time but it was obviously not their fault. We had a manatee come by and visit. My wife named him Fred. These will be great memories. We had a great time and will definitely go again next time we are in town.

This was an awesome experience, my friend and I went here during our vacation, we rented for 2 hours and we went as far out into the ocean as we wanted to! Super fun would definitely do it again.

My daughter and I rented a kayak here. Javier was great. He have us good advice on where to go and what the journey would be like. I saw that he kept an eye on us from time to time to make sure we didnt get blown out too far. The kayak was in good shape. It was a good price and a lot of fun.

My girlfriend and I went here for Valentines day and it was the best date weve ever had. Word of advice though, show up about 20 to 30 minutes early to take the test for your temporary boating licence. The jet ski was fun alone, but seeing rays, and dolphins made the ride amazing!!!!! A dolphin actually swam underneath us so we saw it way up close. Friendly customer service and reasonable prices. Go here!!!!

We rented kayaks with Jake. I had my two kids with me, 4 yr and 8 yr old. And my husband. My 8yr old loved paddling too and said he had a great time. My 4 yr old also didnt complain about the trip. That is why I give this a three star trip.That being said, the adults were disappointed in the so-called eco-tour we had with bay breeze. Located right off the dock from the Grand Hyatt and directly underneath the airport arrivals, we werent really as secluded as Id hoped and it wasnt really quiet. We had rough waves because of weather conditions. I asked our guide, Jake, to be sure to inform us of any animals and plant information - but we didnt have the opportunity, nor did it seem that he knew what anything was besides the mullet that were jumping. That was the extent of the animal sightings. Jake said something about stingrays, but we never saw anything. We also didnt get the pics he said he would send to us. He did try to take some of us all while we were kayaking, but when he tried to share them with us the images were sent via text and not clear enough. We never received the folder of the images.I guess if you are looking for a workout and to get out of the hotel - this is a great time, otherwise, look for a more out-of-the-way place for more of a learning experience.What to bring: Sunscreen, shoes/sandals (in case you need to go to the bathroom on the public beach we rowed to), dry bag, towel, change of clothes, wet wipes, snacks, water bottles, and money for tip.

I rented a jet ski for my 11 year old son and myself. Danielle was very friendly and accommodating. The jet ski was in great shape and the location was great to get out into the bay quickly.

Enjoyed my 2 hour kayaking session! A must if you are in the Tampa area as a visitor or resident and are looking for something to do. There are paddle boards and jet skis available also. Keep an eye out for Groupon deals when available. Overall I look forward to doing another session in the future!

Went to hire a jet ski there however was unable to due them not being able to provide the temporary jet ski licence, even though their brochure states they offer it. However the staff member was friendly and they did have good jet skis it was just a shame we couldnt ride one.

Not the place to come if you are on a early schedule. The website states the rental facility opens at 9am. This is not correct. The establishment only opens at 9am if you already have a reservation. We got to Baybreeze Paddle at 9am and no one could be found. A Hyatt employee informed us the Baybreeze paddle board employees usually dont show until about 10 or 11 am. We called the number which was advertised on the tent and a young lady tried to talk us into coming back later in the day at 11am. We were informed the employees only come in to run the business at 9 if he/she already has a confirmed paid reservation. They are not open at 9 for walk ups..It would be best if the website reflected this business practice.

Contradictory to the company response to a previous post - there is always an employee there for morning appts. -- I booked a 9 AM appt on-line but received a call that the employee had an appt and wouldnt be there 10 AM. What a waste of time, also, I wont stay at a Hyatt again as well.
