Prompt service and a reasonable, fair price. Ali took the time to explain everything to us and give us options and recommendations without forcing a specific service. He was able to take my car same day for an emergency service and had it done and good as new the next day. I recommend his shop without reservation.

After getting done dirty by auto repair chains in the past, I decided I would try a more mom and pop style location, and Atlas was very highly rated and nearby, so I gave them a shot. Mr. Ali, who both helped me at the desk and serviced my vehicle, was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to offer advice. There were several things that he saw needed a quick fix that I, a completely ignorant driver, would have had to accept charges from a chain for; instead, Mr. Ali recognized that they took almost no time to handle and just took care of them. My car maintenance bills normally run me about $500, but at Atlas, I not only got better (and faster) service, I got it at a fraction of the cost at a cool $150. I will absolutely be coming back, and Atlas as well as Mr. Ali have both my respect and recommendation. Check them out!

Recently moved from another state, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I entered their shop. Most places will accept any job, charge you ridiculously high, “fix” your problem, and then send you packing. However, this place is different. I was introduced to Ali, who test drove my car and went looking for any issues while also explaining the parts and their functionality. Upon returning to the shop, he took a look, invited to look as well and again, thoroughly explain what he was seeing. In the end, I didn’t need to get anything fixed. Other mechanics would have charged me for a potential fix, but not here. There’s a certain level of honesty and professionalism that is unmatched elsewhere. If I ever have any issue with my car, I’ll certainly return here.

Atlas repair is Tampa’s best kept secret that shouldn’t be. Ali and his partner(Raz) were more than helpful. I just moved from Atlanta with my older car that had a few issues that I knew a dealership would charge me a fortune. They took care of me like a friend and not just a customer. Helping me get to auto zone for parts and learning more about my car is just something you can’t get at a dealership. They explained everything that was wrong with my car and got me in and out each time in a timely matter. The auto repair shop is one of the most honest and thorough places i have ever taken my car to. Ali calmly explained what was going on with my car and even after repairing the car did the little extra things that were not asked of him such as washing my car and cleaning my headlights. Ford Dealership told me that vehicle needed 2400 dollars in repairs, Atlas quoted me 540 for the same repair and then wound up charging me only 88 dollars for an oil change and some diagnostics as the repairs were not needed. Very honest, very fast. I highly recommend Atlas, I am truly blown away by the honesty and integrity that I experienced there!

Taking my car to this place in 2017 was a terrible mistake.!! Please DO NOT use this company! I took my car to Atlas Auto based on a friend’s recommendation and the reviews. I had my timing belt on my SUV replaced as my car had done close to 100k miles. 2 to 3 months later my car stalled on the side of a busy road and had to be towed!! I informed the owner about the issue and he said he would look into seeing what had gone wrong but I had lost my trust in their abilities and did not want them to touch my car. God forbid they destroy the engine further.. but that had already happened due to their shoddy workmanship and negligence! The engine was totally destroyed as the new timing belt they installed had come off / broken and did not “sit properly”. I had to get my car towed to my dealer and they informed me that the new timing belt installed had snapped and this was what destroyed the whole engine! I was able to get a used engine installed but this cost me thousands of dollars!! Basically, I had to get a whole new used car, as a result of their shoddy work and negligence! I got no apology and no admission of wrongdoing from this awful dealership! Use them at your own risk.

Ali and his team at Atlas Auto Center saved me big $$$$. I was in the process of purchasing a used car. Ali did an inspection and was very thorough. He did an excellent job of researching the vehicle. Inspecting the mechanical and electronics system.Ali inspected the vehicle top to bottom and front to back. He explained multiple items and generated a history of what the car had been through and how it was maintained and fixed in the past in a very detailed and easy to understand fashion.And, in the end, the vehicle price that seemed too good to be true was just that. Thanks to Alis experience and knowledge, he caught a major repair (timing chain module replacement) which was poorly done and leaking. I would have never found these things out until it was too late.I highly recommend Ali and his team at Atlas Auto Center for your automotive care and maintenance.

I took my car here today (1/31/2020). I dealt with Ali who was so kind yet very professional and extremely considerate. Ali fixed my breaks and replaced my rotors withing TWO hours. So fast! I was extremely impressed by not only the customer service aspect but also at the extremely good job they did fixing my car. The staff at the Atlas Auto Center are the most honest, professional and skilled mechanics you find. I brought my car into the shop for a strange brake noise. I was helped by Ali who was very courteous and spent a thorough amount of time going. I didnt even have to wait for him to start working. Ali explained and showed me everything about his diagnosis of the problem. He offered multiple solutions and gave his recommendation on which route to choose. His recommendation was actually that the problem was NOT significant to warrant a replaced part. That is the hallmark of an honest mechanic! He promoted the choice that he would have made if it were his own car, and the solution that was best in the long term for me. Many mechanics try to give you the run around or squeeze every dollar out of you they can. I will be taking my car and the next one to Ali and Atlas Auto Center as their service cant be beat.

I just moved in the area and was referred to Atlas Auto Center through a friend. I took my 2014 Toyota Rav4 for tire change and normal maintenance. They are very knowledgeable and honest with their recommendation. They told me straight out what my car may or may not need.

I have gone to Atlas Auto previously and have always been more than satisfied with the quality of work and the price. On 10/16/19, I called to inquire if I needed a brake fluid flush for my vehicle. Ali, whom I spoke with told me that since my car only has approximately 14K in mileage, brake fluid flush was not required yet. The staff at Altas seems to be always be candid and honest regarding necessary or unnecessary work that needs to be done on a vehicle. Also, Alis quoted price was significantly less than the price quoted from a dealership service department. Thank you Altas Auto!!!!

I have a 1999 Toyota 4Runner that I had taken to several mechanic shops where they couldnt find out what the problem was. Then I took it to Atlas Auto shop where Ali quickly diagnosed the problem. The problem was very simple and a cheap part where a lot of other places didnt even see it, let-alone to repair it. Very happy with their service and will continue to service my car and wifes car there from now on.

If you value your time, money and happiness, this is the mechanic for you! Ive gone here twice and will continue to go for all my auto needs. To start, he is very friendly, and very considerate of your time and finances. I love his approach to unclear problems. He thinks like a doctor, with a list of possibilities and an inexpensive diagnostic strategy to isolate the problem, rather than just replacing everything that might be involved like some places do. I have a little mechanical expertise myself, and he didnt hesitate to let me know when I could save some money (labor cost) by doing part of the job myself (though he would be happy to do it for me if I dont have the time). When my car was having intermittent issue with idling, I left the car with him overnight. After running some tests, he asked me to come show him since he was unable to reproduce the problem. We took the car together for a 15 minute drive, but I couldnt reproduce the issue either. He told me that from the description, it sounded like a simple bolt on replacement part that I could do myself for half the price, and that he wouldnt charge me for the diagnostics since neither of us could reproduce the problem. What a testament to his character! He said feel free to bring it back if it starts doing it again. And he was right on the money with his diagnosis too! Atlas Auto is about great service, not just about making a buck. Try them out for your next repair and Im confident that youll be happy you chose Atlas Auto.

I had a backyard mechanic replace brakes, rotors and wheel bearings on my car. I thought he did a great job until I started experiencing problems. I found Alis shop several years ago driving past. I went to him for a second opinion on a part the dealer wanted to charge hundreds to purchase and install. He built the part and saved me hundreds on labor when we really needed it. He took the time to explain the problem and how he could do it for less. My family moved to Atlanta soon after but I told my mother and stepfather about Ali and they have been using him for their cars ever since. I have never met such an honest mechanic. On one visit, my mother needed body work done and he really went the extra mile making sure she would love her car, even replacing her hubcaps and cleaning up other parts of the body to make the car look extra nice, she still talks about this! Recently my local Atlanta dealer quoted me $450 for a 60k service on my Sienna. I was heading to FL the following week and remembered Ali. He did the whole service, replaced 2 break pads, a cabin filter and did a synthetic oil change for $200. He had me in and out in a day with no appointment because he knew I was vacationing with my boys and needed the car. I have never written a review for any person or place that was more deserving than Atlas. I cannot recommend .them more highly. The mechanics are all so friendly and patient. They take their time to explain everything and care deeply about their reputation and taking care of their cusyomers. I dont ever have to worry about dishonesty or bad work here. Ali gave me his number and told me I could call anytime for advice when a local mechanic tells me work is needed. My husband and i will be saving all our work for our trips to Tampa from now on, hes just that good!

Misdiagnosed my 2006 charger 5.7 hemi. Total charges $170.00 That included towing and misdiagnosing.I had the car towed there for a crank but no start. Mr. Ali called me and told me that my engine had no compression and that there was nothing he could do past that point. He recommended I junk my car. I generally contacted Atlas because of the good reviews that I saw online. But boy was i wrong!! Not convinced with his diagnosis, I had it towed back to the dealer were I bought it from and comes to find out that it was a bad starter and needed a new radiator that was causing cooling problems. Its the first time I go there . In my opinion I WILL NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANY ONE TO GO THERE. I almost junked my car based on his advice.

Went to Atlas on the strong recommendation of a friend. Stadium Toyota quoted $1500 for A/C work. Atlas solved our problem for $100. They had concerns about another issue, I gave them carte blanche to solve it. In the end, they said there was no problem and no charge. Seem to be honest guys that can get work done quickly and inexpensively. You cant ask for more from auto repair guys.
