Second edit below ,Save your time and money they like to Change prices after discussing one. Ended up paying the same amount a dealership wouldCharge. I should have just did that and get treated better and enjoy the refreshments . But this place just a simple garage in a side alley decided to take Advantage of a woman I referred over after discussing a price with him knowing if she went alone he would rip her off . But guess what all that and no justice because he did it anyway. Stay away let’s see if the work is good supposedly a one year warranty is given . I’d like to see this. I’ll keep everyone posted.The owner/ manger called after a few days to apologize for the way he acted. It seems he may have had a lapse of judgment and admits to acting poorly. There is more to the story the way we was treated but it’s much too long to write in here. I will say this he made it right with refunding a good amount back. For this I changed the star rating. In this world it takes a lot for someone to admit there wrong and I respected him for that. I think anyone who goes there should not have a problem. The work completed seems to be holding up. I also found out he was soon hospitalized after our encounter so this could have played a roll in his poor judgment as well. If they do see this, get well soon and thanks again for making it right k&M.

I have been going to K&M for 20 years and my wifes family has been for 30. They are trustworthy and honest, they have never steered me wrong in all that time. They dont pad the bill with needless suggested maintenance and without fail call with what needs to be done before doing it.

I have been taking my vehicles to K & M for 20 years and have been extremely happy with both the service and the price. You will never find a better company that stands behind their warranty. I refer everyone I know who needs auto repairs to them. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I took my car here to get work done on it because it kept having issues. The first time I went there the mechanic replaced my alternator which looking back on it with a little more car experience had nothing to do with the issue, it was not having electrical problems at all. Then he replaced the starter, same issues kept occuring. The last straw was when he told me it was the head gasket which he said would be 1500 to replace, after this I had my car towed away, took the new parts out, sold them, and bought a Ford expedition 2002 for 1500 which has lasted me 2 years already no issues yet, and when it does have issues Im never taking it anywhere close to this place, wish I could give it 0 stars.

I have been taking my vehicles to K & M Auto since 1995. I purchased a new vehicle and considered Lemon Law because several dealerships could not locate a reoccuring issue with the new vehicle. At the dealership a tech suggested I vist K & M auto and within minutes of its first arrival they located the problem. Since then every member of our families vehicles go to K & M Auto. Between us our kids and my Mother in law we have a total of 10 vehicles. No other shop is allowed to touch them. My kids have learned this lesson the hard way when K & M had to fix the mistakes another shop made last year. I would strongly encourage anyone to take their vehicle to K & M Auto. I still have the vehicle I originally I took to K & M, it has over 325 thousand miles on it and it runs like a top. K & M Auto has never misguided our family and over the years they have earned our trust repeatedly.

The service was poor and incomplete. They diagnosed the vehicle incorrectly which caused me more money. I should have gone to a repair shop that was professional and knwe wthat they were doing. Sometimes getting a referral is ok, but a lower price quote with a mechanic should be a sign they have no idea what they are doing !!!!! Stay away, stay far away from this shop!!!!!

I rated this place 1 star because i had a horrible experience of my car cutting off in the middle of the road after i let them do a repair for me , somehow my battery got loose after they touched my car & i believe the mechanic may have been drunk, it is so hard to find a good mechanic in tampa smh

I called and the guy said “yo” and hung up, extremely unprofessional, don’t go here if your smart!
