Second most important thing is the front desk - Quinn (I hope I spelled your name right) is the best! She’s very friendly and easy to get along with. This location does amazing work. Ive visited other locations that did not come close to the excellent service they provide. Oil changes are a great price and they are always straight forward and honest. They go out of their way to answer any additional questions you might have as well. The only thing is I wish they were able to do tire alignments. Other than that my car has only gone here for 3 years now.

Love this place, I trust Joe and the girl at the shop she really knows what she is doing, I know they will do a great job and if is not worth fixing the car they will tell you not to waste your money. Really good people here

I know very little about cars and usually Im terrified about going to a new mechanic. By chance I had an Uber driver recommend this business- because he used to own his own car shop and now, in retirement, this is where he goes.Im so glad I found this place! The prices were as low as I imagine they can be to stay in business. They were honest, communicated well, and I left feeling taken care of rather than taken advantage of. Ill be bringing my cars here as long as Im in South Tampa.

I brought my car in unannounced at 7:30 AM to have some major work done, parts had to be ordered as well as major labor to be done. They had everything completed by the early afternoon same day. Fantastic turn around time, which made my life so much easier and less stressful for having car troubles that morning. They were a little pricey for me but If you need any work done fast, call them up!

I live near Chicago and usually do the repairs and maintenance on my kids cars. Since my daughter has been going to Eckerd she has had to get some work done in her car and other shops tried to take advantage of her and price gouge the young lady. Ice Cold air and auto has done great work at a reasonable price. Thanks from a distant dad.

Such an amazing auto shop. A very knowledgeable staff who genuinely cares about your car and saving you money. It is not easy to find such a trustworthy auto shop. Ill be a customer for as long as I live in the area.

Great customer service, Quinn got me in on short notice and the repairs were done professionally, on time and for a reasonable price. Have brought my 2000 Ford Expedition and my 2008 BMW there and they have done great on both vehicles. Neighborhood shop feel with professional service. Only place I bring my vehicles.

I have been a patron of Ice Cold Air for a couple of years without incident however my recent experience was bad enough that I feel I just got lucky the other times. I dropped my car off at 10 AM on Monday knowing exactly the part that I need it. Quinn wrote it all down on the work order and said that she would be in touch. When I did not hear from her by noon on Tuesday I stopped by and she told me that her tech had worked on it for half a day on Monday and could not figure out the problem but that the code red that the hybrid battery was bad. Everyone knows that a dead hybrid battery is the kiss of death for vehicle! I was freaking out and asked her if she tried the part that I had requested and she said no and she proceeded to look it up. She said she would order it and that she would be in touch. Again no call all day Tuesday And I spent a very sleepless night trying to figure out how I was going to be able to purchase a new vehicle. I stopped by at noon on Wednesday. She said the part was coming from Orlando and would hopefully be there that afternoon. Apparently the part came in shortly there after and it was installed and fixed the problem just like I knew it would. I explained my frustration to Quinn with the lack of communication and the failing to even consider Starting with the part that I had requested. She then said that I had brought the car in so late on Monday that they hadnt been able to look at it until Tuesday when she had previously told me she had a tech working on it for a half a day on Monday! I hate being lied toAnd if she was lying about that what else was she lying about. I have always felt lucky to have an honest mechanic so close by however apparently Ive been wrong all this time!

He has been repairing my cars for years. He has never gone over the estimates he has quoted me. Usually it is less. He is on time with the repairs and I have never had to take the car back because they got it wrong. The staff is friendly and very helpful. My whole family goes to him now and I recommend to anyone who needs their car fixed.

You will never find any place around the area that is as honest and trustworthy as ice cold air. Joe the owner is the most honest, genuine down to earth guy. Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable and courteous. They tell you what the problem is and fix it, for a reasonable price. Ive been jerked around at so many places over paying for parts and services that they convinced me I needed when I really didnt. If you want honesty and a good price, then seriously dont waste your time anywhere else. I thankful to have found this place. Ive saved so much money and actually feel comfortable talking to someone while knowing Im not getting ripped off. Thanks joe, Ive found my mechanic and I wouldnt think to go anywhere else for a split second. Quality all around.

Listen to The Great Reviews....Trust Them!I wanted my Daughters 2002 P.T. Cruiser to be fixed by a shop that specializes in A/C repair. David, Super Dave Professional Technician, dismantled the entire dashboard (Steering wheel and column out, Center floor console out, all Dash-gauges, Radio, and dials/switches out!) down to the bare metal firewall (!), to replace a leaking Evaporator and Heater Core. Just a Huge repair job, takes two days of labor. All put back together and working like new---blowing Ice Cubes-- in a 16 Year Old Car with 104,000 miles on it! I am truly impressed, and whole heartedly recommend this South Tampa shop, for all your vehicular repair needs. Joe and Quinn gave me a run-down of future P.T. repairs to consider AND even a discount $$$$ after all of that. Awesome Shop!

The only thing i liked about this place was the dog. My BMW was blowing hot air until it warmed up a bit. As I only had had 70,000 miles I was hoping it just needed freon. Their free diagnosis told me otherwise. I was given an estimate of 1300.00 for a new compressor. Both she and her mechanic told me they put in some freon. And didnt charge me anything because it wasnt going to work! Now what garage has EVER given you anything for free? I got a second opinion, on Madill and learned my compressor was working fine!

My go to Tampa mechanic that I can trust to not feel like they are up selling to make a profit. Just not the fastest shop. Would recommend to anyone I know.

My wife took her car in for a squealing noise as I was out of town. We live nearby and I thought take it to a neighborhood business. The fan belt was slipping and i thought either tightening or replacing it would be the fix.The owner she said treated her very rudely and told her the car needed a front engine main bearing and seal replacement and a new water pump.Her Honda has only 28,000 miles on it. She was told if she drove it the engine could lock up. Close to a 1000 dollar repair job!She thankfully got in her car and departed. She had it repaired at another shop. A new fan belt was all it needed. Stay away from this place. We have reported them to Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Not very happy with the manager Quinn. Her communication skills were poor. Gave specific directions both on the phone and on paper but ignored my instructions. She was not very honest with me. Air condition problem was worse when I got it back then before making squealing grinding noises and no hot air and I was told the a/c was fixed ( Stupid me paid nearly $300 over the phone trusting that it WAS fixed). Then when I brought it back They were even more deceptive and I felt they were just incompetent. They wanted $400 more to fix the ac they said was fixed. When you work on something make sure it is really fixed. Test test test! My first and last time using their services.

I was happy I took my truck to Ice Cold Air period I am in no way a mechanic so I had no idea about how bad of shape my front end was. Joe who is the owner of the business took the time to fully explain the problem and solution so that I would understand. The work was great and the price was fair. Ice cold air has great prices, and really know what theyre doing. Joe is always honest, which is hard to find at most shops. Ive recommended this shop to everyone I know and will never get my cars worked on anywhere else. Ive taken everything from a BMW to a 64 Bonneville here and they always know what theyre doing.

After going to workout classes at Crunch this morning, I got into my car and the AC - which worked 1 hour prior - would not even blow! I took my car to Ice Cold Air on Westshore and Quinn immediately put Joe (owner) on my 11 year old vehicle to assess problem. Within minutes I had a diagnosis, an estimate, necessary parts were located. I had the assurance that my car would be repaired and I would have cold air by the end of today. At approx. 4 pm today Quinn called to say my car was ready and yes, I have COLD air and a 1 year warranty! Thank you to Quinn & Joe ... I definitely will be back!

Ive been taking my cars to Ice Cold Air for over 5 years, my brother is a mechanic and I know what most work should cost , and every time they quote me on something its always on the lower end compared to other places, and they dont suggest things that dont need to be fixed. Theyve also helped me with small issues just by me pulling in and having them look at it, like a flat tire, and not asking for anything. They are always busy but do try to fit you in as soon as possible, I have no complaints, and I dont understand people who say theyre a rip off.

Didn’t fix the problem. Waisted my money there. . They Charged full invoice anyhow & Wouldn’t recognize a refund or discount. !! Can’t recommend them.

The most awful interaction/customer service I have ever expeirenced at a mechanical repair. I went in to pick up my car after getting a quote for A/C repair, and upon starting up my vehicle I noticed the ABS lights on my dashboard remained on and didnt go off. I waited a little and restarted my car to see if my ABS lights would remain on and surely it did. I went back in to let the lady at the front desk know, and she went to ask a mechanic, and they told her my ABS lights were on when it arrived. Me knowing my vehicle knew that was not the truth, I would not drive a vehicle with ABS lights on knowing how dangerous it can be. I let the lady know that my ABS lights were not on, and she went to go get another mechanic named Joe. Joe came in the office and asked what was wrong with my car, I explained to him the same thing I stated to the lady, he then proceeded to cut me off, and condescendly responded that when you start up your car the lights come on. I said I am aware of that but my ABS lights remained on. This man then asked me to show him what I am talking about, we walk to my vehicle and I show him the lights. From there he said he said the light was on when they got the vehicle. I responded with no they were not. I then asked I just want to know why the light is on as I dont want to drive a potentially unsafe vehicle. He showed no effective communicative skills and proceeded to cut me off accusing me of having an attititude. I was on the phone with a friend at the time who was concerned about the light being on as well and overheard him rudely accusing me of having an attitude. I responded with I dont have an attitude I am simply explaining something to you and you keep cutting me off. He then proceeds to plug in a device to my car, and ask me erase something. After I asked what will he be erasing, he gets upset raises his voice at me. Which I found to be really surprising. I can only assume he was too incompetent to explain the issue or matter to me and decided to deflect and be unprodessional. So therefore I do not reccomend this place and will NEVER bring my business here.

They do good work, and their prices are reasonable. The times I have been to them with, I got my vehicle back the same day, even though it was a fairly complex repair.

I brought my car into the westshore location, knowing what was wrong with my car, I just wanted someone to fix it. Well after they look over my car, the owner tells me the problem was something totally different from what I said, which was impossible that what he said could be wrong from what my car was doing. Not to mention I just had that part of my car fixed. I decided to get another opinion and found that ice cold air was just trying to make big bucks off me because exactly what I originally told them was wrong with my car, was exactly what was wrong. The owner has no clue what he is doing and does not belong in the business of mechanics.

There is no other place as honest as this one. I highly recommend them.
