These people installed my unit but they wont admit to it until i showed them the paperwork of it, but i thought Id have to go with them for the warranty but that was wrong. I needed a new fan motor and they quoted me $550 just for labor which you can normally buy the part and have it installed cheaper. Then tried to get me with a $130 service charge thats about double what anyone else offers. Long story short went with one hour air and Im clean and clear for $80 for everything. These people have always been shady but the pandemic price gouging is too much. Avoid like covid. EDIT: its cute they play this off as a prank but you can see by the other reviews Im clearly being very serious. My unit you put in is very real and Id add a pic of the paperwork for it if i was able to, but you can only do it when you originally post. They know very well everything Ive said is true and are just mad i denied them service for gouging.

Ive have been using this company for about 2 years. I called them again because my compressor went out. I was quoted $89 service fee. The techs were great and diagnosed the problem but I received a service fee of $129. I called customer service and was told that a commercial building service fee is higher. Not a pleasant surprise after the service was completed.

I recently purchased a home & a home warranty. My AC would work sometimes so i contacted my home warranty. They quickly sent this company to take a look at my unit. I was told that my unit had a leaking coil which wasnt covered under my warranty and i would need to replace my ac handler. Per the invoice I had what looked like a 2008 ac handler & an older compressor but after i got a second opinion both units are brand new & in fact still have a warranty as they were put in and manufactured in 2020. This company is incompetent and tried to have us replace a brand new unit that did not have any issues. My house just needed insulation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY without receiving a second opinion or even reviewing the labels.

Tenants at our rental property said the AC wasnt starting up. The tech showed up and found that the AC drain just needed to be shop vacuumed. The bill? $200! Just for someone to come out and shop vac the AC drain on our rental property... cmon now.

Horrible experience working with this company. They replaced all my duct work back in August 2019 and I have had issue after issue since then. Multiple repairs have been done. They did not file a permit for the original install last year but after all these issues pulled one and still have not yet had the work inspected. They do not return phone calls when they say they will and have not shown any remorse or accountability for the horrible experience I have had. This will be the first and last time I work with this company.

Very very friendly employees, very quick on installing the unit, the one guy Matthew explained everything on The nest thermostat, he made sure that I understood how to use it, although now Im waiting on the parts to come through the dog housing and the filter box waiting Amy to call me back,so we can cover the hole in the back of my home because we have a lot of possum and rec rooms around here that can cause a lot of damage underneath the house if thats not shut off or closed up, thank sincerely Laurie Cox

This company does not answer their emergency number. They also have false 5 star reviews. They failed to repair my unit today. My wife, toddler, and I now have to try and go to bed in a house that is 86 degrees, and they do NOT ANSWER THEIR EMERGENCY LINE! I have never dealt with a business that has been so incompetent so consistently. Do not fall for this shady companies schtick.Pease be very cautious with these positive reviews there are definitely multiple fake reviewers giving 5 stars. Just look at any of the reviews that have peoples full names singing their praises. They all have reviewed the same places and only give 5 stars.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. We called for emergency service and spoke to Michelle. She was abrupt and would not answer my husbands questions. We were already stressed, we didnt need a rep who was rude! Then she hung up on us, even though we continued to be nice to her. Needless to say we went with someone else. If you cant be polite on the phone there is no way I would trust you to come to my house and be honest and fair. I worked in customer service. That first point of contact sets the tone. We ended up calling someone else and signed a contract with them for further service. Thanks Michelle we ended up using someone else who was polite and fair.

This company has been great to deal with from our initial call 3 years ago for service until our most recent semi annual inspection. The prices for the repairs and system replacement have been fair, but the professionalism of each individual we have dealt with exceeds our expectations. They are always on time and they have taken precautions to insure we know who will be arriving at my house and when. We are glad to have a company we can trust.

Dont trust the sales people. We believed the sales guy who came to talk about a new system. He told us about a system that was half way between the other two they sold, claiming it was the best deal. He also said we would get two years of free system checks. After 2 years, we called them to ask when the system checks would start. They finally scheduled a check for a month after we called. After only 3 checks (each one we had to call and remind them to come) the technician tried to sell us a maintenance package. When we turned him down, he left without checking the system and they never came back for the remaining 3 checks. When the system was only 4 years old, we had to have the compressor changed. Its 2 years later and we have to replace the compressor again. Weve also learned that the cooling agent for the system has been discontinued and we will most likely need to replace the whole system after only having it for 8 years. We will NEVER go to ABS Air Conditioning again and we will warn anyone who asks about them.

Derek was excellent. He was thorough and detail oriented. Awesome for someone that has no idea about air units. He was polite and kind as well. Jessica was also great. She put up with all my time hiccups. Would absolutely use them again. Lets just hope I dont have to. :)

Business system goes down. Other company weve used for years apparently does not see us as a priority. ABS came out in a timely manner and got us up and running. Well be using ABS now. Friendly and knowledgeable.

Rockie is locally known as the AC Whisperer. When other folks cannot repair or diagnose a unit, many call Rockie. We used ABS to install units at our townhouse as well as our law office and we have been extremely pleased with the customer service, knowledge and level of expertise shown by Rockie and ABS. I could not recommend them enough for your residential and/or business needs

As a landlord its very important to have a responsive company when issues arise. ABS has been quick to answer my call, quick to schedule a service appointment and able to remedy the problem on the first appointment. I highly recommend ABS for your air conditioning needs.

First time using ABS AC for any work at our home. Our AC stopped working at 6 PM on 8/22/2017 on the hottest day so far this summer. We called our regular AC service company and despite advertising 24/7 service, they couldnt get anyone out till late the next morning. We needed AC working ASAP as we own and foster several older cats and dogs with medical problems. We called ABS on recommendation of my parents at 7 PM and in about 1 1/2 hours had a technician at our home. Bill was our AC tech and he diagnosed our problem quickly as a bad start capacitor in the outside unit. Fortunately it is a is a part they stock on their trucks and he could fix our AC. 1 hour later and our AC was working and cooling our home. Saved me from installing an emergency AC window unit in the dark. Thanks ABS AC and Bill.

ABS are a great company! I had a huge problem with another company so I called ABS and one of their technicians was in my studio in less than an hour! They fixed the problem very confidentially and everyone was so happy after. Thank you ABS, I now have them servicing my home AC :)

I am a business man of integrity with an outstanding reputation. My motto is love your customers more than their money. I had one of the most informative, kindest gentlemen I have ever met come out and charge me $89 to quote me 835 dollars on a ac repair, and offered to make it 750 if I spent another 150 for coverage over the year. The price didnt feel right, so I called Suncoast AC and they did the exact same job and gave us a lb of freeon for $500. Taking advantage of peoples money in a broken economy is not cool with me.

Yesterday after a routine maintenance call we noticed our AC unit wouldnt turn on at all. We contacted both the office and the technician himself and were told someone would be out to fix it today first thing in the morning. Its now been over 24 hours with no AC and we had to cancel our plans and stay home all day today waiting for a technician. No one has come out to fix it or even call to confirm someone was coming today. The technician probably just accidentally disconnected something, but its very poor customer service not to fix it or even let us know when to expect a repair.

Came home to no air conditioning on Saturday. Called ABS. Technician arrived 45 minutes later. Air was working 30 minutes after that. Cant say thank you enough. My husband and I were so not looking forward to not having air conditioning for the rest of the weekend. We tried three other companies.... J. Chiodi

I paid them to do a maintenance check and my AC stopped working an hour after the tech left, it has been over 24 hours and they havent sent anyone out to fix the problem they caused, I have called several times and the manager Michelle hasnt shown any empathy towards the situation or try to make it right! I spent over $500 and have used them for years. But this is outrageous.

Michelle Rand did a great job of getting fast and professional service for my Dental office. I would highly refer ABS to any business or home owner and will be using them for all my AC needs.

Thank you Mike and ABS AIr Conditioning for saving us during this hot Florida spring. Our HVAC system was constantly running but not cooling the house. I spoke with a couple different companies before calling ABS Air Conditioning and they were the only company that advised us we had a leak that needed to be repaired when everyone else tried to sell us a new system.Thank You for saving us money this time around and when we do need a new system you will be the ONLY company we will call.
