I needed to ship one item back to the manufacturer. I thought this company would be the one to use, after all they were the ones that shipped it to me. That was far from the truth. As a first time shipper, I got what I thought was a great rate. But, to get that rate I needed to feel out the shipping documents. Um hello, Im a first-time shipper a little help would be nice. But, no documents is entirely my responsibility.Turns out the shipping documents I filled out was wrong, and they needed to fix in the shipping process. And charged me double what they said they would charge.I may have been a first time shipper. It turns out Im a one-time shipper. I will not use you again.
FedEx delivered the same item a day earlier and helped to get it inside. Reddaway driver refused to help my wife bring it in the house. Now I have an angry wife with a hurt back. At least FedEx has a good delivery service.
This is worth the read. I wish I could give 0 stars based solely on the customer service of their dispatcher, Greg Neal. I took the day off yesterday to intercept my furniture delivery on my front porch that I was quoted would arrive between 1-4pm and no one showed up, and they had ZERO communication with me. I called the dispatcher to see what happened and Greg, with nothing pleasant about his tone, rescheduled me for two days following my original date. I asked if Greg could arrange a phone call from the delivery driver with half an hour notice so I didn’t take the day off in case I was no-showed again. He told me that I need to meet the truck driver out by the busy road to intercept my furniture at 9 months pregnant and take it home myself and said it’s not his responsibility to set up a phone call because the driver may not carry a phone. Well... I got the phone call I asked for the next day and my husband, inconveniently, met the delivery driver 1000 ft from my home next to the road because they couldn’t make it down my driveway. My husband told the delivery driver how rude Greg was and the driver seemed to agree and himself called him an “A hole.” Within a few hours of delivery I got a phone call from Greg. He asked if I got my delivery and I said “Yes, thanks so much!” And he said, “Oh good, and if your husband ever talks bad about me again I will make sure your freight doesn’t get delivered.” ......... I said you’re gonna want to say that to my husband. So I walked in and handed the phone to him and the words exchanged were unlike anything we have ever experienced. We both own separate companies and would never treat a customer with such disrespect. We will go far, far out of the way never to use this company again. Simply unacceptable behavior. Waiting for a phone call from his superior.
Today an awning showed up from our manufacturer Carefree of ColoradoIt was a 4 meter box awning that was packaged fairly well and with proper handling should have survived the trip here in freight trucks. The Pure Negligence of handling by Reddaway freight company caused the package to become damaged and not usable, so it was refused, This is a Non Stop problem that needs attention, and If anyone really cares within that company the problem could get solved, until then I will have my vendor try a different shipper although that may be a waste of time since the problem seems universal amongst freight companies.
Wish I could give a 0. Dispatch GREG. RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL DIDNT CARE ABOUT HELPING ME AT ALL.. OUR COMPANY WILL NEVER USE THERE SERVICES. THANKS TO GREG!
First class place
Service is your night going good
UPDATE: Soldiers beware! Juanita the appointment clerk insulted me and hung up on me after I told her I was a veteran!! Shame on you! My husband and I have lost days of work waiting each time Reddaway missed a scheduled delivery date. I have notified the JBLM Public Affairs office. Soldiers and those who love us, please boycott this company! Do not order Home Depot home delivery if it goes through Reddaway, demand a different shipping partner! They’ve had my flooring for 8 days now. It was due for delivery 3 days ago. Zero communication from Reddaway. When I call, there is no option to leave a voicemail message. Had I known Home Depot uses this company, I would never have placed the order. If Reddaway reaches out to me and I receive my flooring (not likely), I will edit this review.
Just picked up a trailer heading to Fontana CA
Easy to drop a trailer and get out.
Dropped It...
Very fast and friendly, even let us use a pallet jack!
A horrible place. The people here get a solid grade F. Not even a D-This is a 0-star rating.
Damaged my first shipment, much better on the second
Good company
I am sick of this place my clock always runs out due to sitting at the dock for hours before they even start to unload
