This post office is just cosmetically beautifully inside and out. The staff have always been extremely helpful and informative when I have stopped by. My one wish list item would be for hours that are a bit more conducive to working families, ie open till at least 6pm. They no longer process passports. If you’re needing that service it is provided on the 2nd floor of the court house.

I have had problems with The post office and yes they are rude ,I have asked why a package gets shipped lets say from California and it goes to Dallas Texas and then goes back to Lubbock Texas and then back to Abilene Texas and finely goes to sweetwater Texas makes no sense at all oh when I would call no one knows anything about where my package is.

Most employees are nice and helpful. Theres one employee that is just rude, ALL the time. Mistakes happen yes, but why be rude to me when its their mistake. Forget trying to get answers, she doesnt even let you get done talking before shes rushing you away to help the next customer in line. I have been a faithful customer for years, but that has come to an end. I now take my business elsewhere.

Purchased a PO Box a few weeks ago, picked up the keys and activated it. Even been getting mail. Yet, I kept getting emails saying I havent activated it and it will be closed. Contacted USPS, was told to contact the local one. Went, in person and let the man know it was active and we already picked up the keys. He said he would update it and never did. So, our box closed out and we have an important package for our daughter on the way... not happy.

I got my passport from this post office and they made the process simple and quick. The gentleman who took the picture was polite and informative. I dropped off a few packages from mercari, poshmark and some personal mail. They informed me that I could schedule pick ups so that I wouldn’t have to constantly be driving to the post office. Dottie made all pickups on time and she handled all packages with care. There was this one time when I scheduled a pickup for 3 packages but only put two in the mailbox and she gave me a call to make sure that all was in order. I personally had good experiences! Thank you for that!

Everytime I have encountered old bitter besty, (as I have now nicknamed her) behind the counter that wears entirely too much makeup she has been rude, and condescending when assisting me with my questions or postal services. This is a customer service position at the end of the day if you hate your job and life so much it is never too late to make a change. I am highly unsatisfied by the poor level of customer service I receive from this same female employee any and everytime I have mailed anything from this location. Sad.

I live in Roscoe and packages come through the Sweetwater post office first. I have a package that was scheduled to be delivered as I have many times before yet today I get a tracking message saying my package was Being returned to sender in the Sweetwater post office due to an address issue.I called my local post office and apparently they’ve had several complaints on the same issue with this postal carrier in Sweetwater that is scanning items as return to sender even though they are being delivered just to clear their records . I Have been waiting for this package for a month, it is a special order Christmas gift and to have a message stating it was being returned just because you want your records to show different is NOT ok!!I don’t know who or why this was implemented but it should be stopped!I am just grateful my local post office is competent enough to get this issue resolved for me so I can receive my package as scheduled.

The employees at front window needs to be retrained on customer service skills I got a p.o. box there and they are sending my mail back to sender because they said my box was not active but yet I payed to have it opened and they gave me the keys to the p.o. box on the first of July 2018 I dont have any faith in the postal service in Sweetwater tx
