Ive been coming here the past 3 year, my vehicle used to run very poor and would overheat every 2 weeks. A simple battery replacement ended up a disaster. All I needed was a new battery and they returned mine with broken tailgate. When I pointed out that the tailgate will not close after the battery replacement, the employee demonstrated how he closed it, with force. Like many SUVs out there, mine is equipped with motorized open/close tailgate. The batteries (main & auxiliary) are located in the trunk area and tailgate access is required to replace the battery. For whatever the reason, possibly not patient enough, they forced it and broke the motor that open/closes the tailgate door. Mistakes happen, and its a mistake as long as you fix it. They didnt. They claimed it just failed and they had nothing to do with it. They are not a responsible business, but rather are ready to fight you. I cant forget the fierce eyes of one of the manager when I brought this issue up. Would not visit there again, and would not recommend.

I have used N.E. Autotek since the shop opened in 2010, thats over 10 years of reliable auto care. Some of the many reasons why I LOVE this business are that they wont sell you repairs that are not necessary, they guarantee there work and stand behind it with a 2 years or 24,000 miles unlimited parts & labor warranty. The techs work together as a team to give us honest customer service. These days it is rare to find a family owned business that is run as professionally as any of the big corporations or dealerships. Thank you Jacob & all the guys, we know that you are not going to always be able to please everyone all the time but so far my experience has been top notch, keep up the good work, you will have a customer for life!

My car had a flooded engine that I thought was far beyond repair. NE Autotek & the manager Jacob fixed my Toyota with efficiency and care! I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to this shop because they always deal with their customers great respect from using manners to wearing masks without having to be asked of, very professional of them!!!

Sad to say have to agree with some others. This used to be a trustworthy shop. I have taken my cars there for many years and Jacob and Rob were great. I do not think they are there any longer. My daughters car would not start (electrical was clearly working as windows, fan etc would work) and there was a check engine light on just no cranks when you turn over the key - even a jump did not help. After a 130 dollar “diagnostic” they told me They did not know what was exactly wrong with the car and that they thought I needed a new battery (old), battery cables (corroded) and more and over $700 dollars later told me the car was running. 24 hours later the car would not start same symptoms as before. I bought a new starter and replaced myself and now the car is fine. Shame (or should I say surprising) that they did not notice when they were replacing cables - one which connected to the starter - that the starter was not just really grimy, showing rust on the exterior, and it was an original 2001 Honda part - that maybe the starter was the “problem” as they could have gotten more money out of me if they correctly diagnosed (or added that to) the problem.” BTW the labor for the battery change was $100, yes $100. As I recall they charge $100 per hour for labor for a task even I can do in about 15 minutes. Everyone is hurting for business under Covid but they just lost a long time loyal customer.

The team here is awesome! My family has been taking our cars here for awhile now and know and trust that they will take care of our vehicles. I really appreciate that they see me as a person and are willing to walk me through the process of my auto-needs, so that I may understand. They are honest and fair. On my most recent auto check Brandon was super helpful and kind. I highly recommend this crew!

I brought my car in for an alignment and was quoted $180 for an hours worth of work, left my car there for 4 hours no word back. I called and Jacob told me “we can’t get the camber set” and needed an extra hour which would cost me another $120. I explained to him that I’m not paying $300 for an alignment and to leave it as is. When i arrived to pick up my car the alignment was absolutely abysmal, steering wheel was not straight, and all 4 wheels had a different toe and camber. Needless to say these people are not here to help you, they take advantage of people who no nothing about cars and try to upcharge ridiculous prices. I highly recommend you avoid this place for any basic service, and i will definitely never return again.

When I was referred to NE Autotek, I had just had an awful experience with a dishonest mechanic. I was $1000 in the hole and my car was in awful shape, and I didn’t realize how bad. Luckily I dropped it off with Jacob and his team and by lunch time I had a diagnosis. We prioritized repairs as I was on a tight budget. Throughout the process I was updated and informed on the extensive damage the previous mechanic caused. By this point I was frustrated and just over the whole process. Jacob kept a positive attitude and continued to work on my vehicle. After 2 days he let me know that I was good to go and my car was 100%. I almost didn’t believe him. I came in to pick my car up and Jacob met with me and showed me everything he repaired. He went above and beyond my expectations and I can honestly say I’ve never been more pleased with a mechanic. He is a trustworthy professional with loads of knowledge, certifications, and experience. I will always take my vehicles there and I recommend everyone else do the same. I went in and asked for an oil change. I was told it was backed up and would take a few days. No problem for me as I own a few cars, do I said sure.The owner or manager was very appreciative and took out time of his own and actually finished the work the same day. I needed my battery changed for my Dodge Journey (a lot more difficult than you would think). I came in at 5:30 no appointment and the guys stayed after an extra hour to solve my issue. Great service all of my lights went out after my service thanks guys!!!

Ive been going to NE Autotek for over six years and have taken a variety of vehicles there, foreign & domestic. When comparing prices, I dont find NE Autotek to be any more expensive than repair shops in the area, but I have found the repair work to be far superior. They have repaired the repairs that were previously done for me in other shops and Ive never had to return for the same problem once they diagnose and fix one. Also an excellent place to take a used car before a purchase, theyll go over it with a fine tooth comb and give you a printout of defects and potential problems as well. Highly recommended, check them out.

These people are completely incompetent and dont communicate pricing on anything. I dropped my car off because I had a warning light and asked them to just see if they could tell me generally what was wrong. I was never told that would be a specific price and never called to be told that some in depth diagnostic test would be needed. I come to pick up my car and they decided that I owed them $140 for a test I never approved. They wouldnt give me my keys until I paid the $140 that i never approved. It was a horrible experience.

Been using NE Autotek a couple years now primarily on an older Honda Accord. The team has been great (my primary interface is almost always Rob) - never pushy on optional work and always very clear on what should be done asap vs can wait. Ive never had issues that weve had to return for. Courteous, professional and Ive found pricing to be better than other locals.

I would like to say it was a fair place and it was I brought my car in to get a simple oil change and they seemed fair. So as an experiment I went back for a radiator flush . Again it seemed ok but I was noticing things by listening to others and how they were treated which raised some flags. So me and my wife decided to do an experiment. We first got our car looked at our trusted dealership and another trusted service on a simple brake job. All that was needed was a basic brake service since we already had new brakes put in a previous year. We got a very fair price at the dealership and of course a cheaper price at our other service. However I told my wife to take the car to these so called fair NE Autotek individuals. I told my wife to let them know that she just got brakes last year and just needed a basic service nothing was wrong. However they told her the whole system needed to be overhauled and it would cost 3000.00 Really..She immediately called me amd i told her to put the service individual on the phone. I told them i was appalled. You seemed to treat me always fair but i noticed you treated women and the elderly at a disadvantage. I was told that they recommended a complete rebiuild of the brake system . I told them to put my wifes car back together exactly as it came in cause i was going to take it immediately to the place that diagnosed it before i brought it to you. I should of brought the local news team in. You guys should be ashamed of yourself. If i find that you did anything to that car other than look at it i will sue you and cause so much headaches for you. The public will know about this i guarantee that. Obviously you didnt notice the car you were servicing for me but when my wife brought it in you tried to take advantage of her.

Pretty good service. Seemed a little expensive, but thats with any repair. Jacob was a little pushy to not let me keep him on the phone for too long, but all the other technicians I talked to were very thorough and provided great customer service.

Went to have a new Xenon HID headlight installed. I actually had the bulb, which I ordered myself, but assumed the installation would be a bit complicated from what I had been told. They told me to install the headlight would cost at least $140 because of the extensive amount of labor which would include removing the bumper.That didnt sound right to me so I left, checked online and found a video on YouTube. Was able to install the light myself, with NO tools in less than 5 minutes. And no the bumper did not need to be removed.Do your research, saved $140 this day.

My abs light was on all the time and my mechanic spent hours trying to figure it out and then recommended taking it to NE Autotek. they gave me a diagnosis within a reasonable amount of time (a broken wire inside the harness) I had them do the repair. Thanks guys I no longer have to look at that light and my abs brakes now work!

We used to be loyal customers of NE Autotek. But over the over the past year i have learned that these guys are as crooked as it gets. Jacob and his team are out for blood. Doing your homework will save you thousands of dollars. Me and my family will never go back.

I will never be back. They promised my vehicle would be ready Saturday afternoon. It is now Wednesday and no car?! They also called to verify new work and labor cost. I verbally approved ( always ask for a paper trail with these guys ) then the added 200 dollars over what was approved. RUUUUUUUUN ! I THOUGHT I WAS SAVING MONEY AND ENDED UP PAYING WHAT I WOULD HAVE PAID AT THE DEALER WITH TWICE THE WAIT!!!!!!!

Ive brought my cars to NE Autotek for years now...At first, I found their parts prices high and they allowed me to bring my own cheaper parts...Now having said cheaper parts fail and having had to pay to re-repair, Ive grown to appreciate the guarantee that comes with the parts NE Autotek supplies.These guys are not cheap, but they consistently get the job done right the first time and this is priceless.

This is hands down the best auto shop in Gwinett County. I have been taking my car here for 6 years and am always happy with the service. They are honest, fast and fairly priced. There have been times where I thought something was really wrong with my car, took it to NEautotek, they opened the hood and turned a few screws and told me its no big deal. Fuel pump cost $485 at NE Autotek? I got it brand new across the street on Autozone for $234! Read this experience that happened to me:Please, dont take your car to this auto repair shop ever.! I took my Ford Explorer 2001 because I couldnt start it. They said that I had to pay $99 fee for diagnosis witch is find, fee that supposed to be avoided when the work is done. But they didnt!They diagnosis test said that fuel pump wasnt working and they try to do other jobs related to it, but I only accepted to replace the fuel pump and fuel filter. After a big discussion ( I was amazed how he couldnt manage his anger), with a man that said he was the owner, he charged me $70 for diagnosis fee because I hadnt accepted to let them do the hold suggested repair. They argument that was a corporative policy. I asked to him to show me where was written on, he said: is not written, just Im saying. This is my policy! Finally I paid almost $350 to get the fuel pump and fuel filter replaced and the hard time to confront a person like him.Definitely is not a friendly auto repair shop. I wont return!, how he said...

I bought a Jeep Wrangler from a young lady that had this shop do some work on it. She gave me the receipts on the work she had paid these guys to do and I couldnt believe what all they charged her for and the amounts! Ive been a car guy for a long time and Im amazed they are still in business if they treat all their customers like they did this lady!

I took my wifes Acura MDX here to have her brakes worked on after initially taking it next door to their competitor, Japanese Auto Repair. JAR quoted me over $1,100 for all of the work, but N E Autotek did all of the work for around $550! They did a great job and had it fixed within 3 hours!!!

Rip off, needed to get starter fix wanted to charge arm and leg. 99 dollars to breath on your car for a test, that never helps them understand the true problem. Been going for years and after several compared quotes i finally figured out they were sinister in all jobs where service was provided. Greedy owner and slick workers. One worker had come back to me with bogus repairs needed, the owner look at him and shook his head behind me as if to say, not him, he knows better, and the tech changed his story. If your car is not on fire... keep driving.

Awesome shop. Jacob and his staff treat you well and are very knowledgeable. I have been taking both my truck and Jeep as well as my Harley to them for the past 3 years. WORST experience of lifetime and complete RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!Completely misdiagnosed to charge the most and actually PROBLEM was very minor which I found out later.I got estimate to fix a/c for almost $4K, while actual problem was only a alignment of A/C sensor which I got fixed in $100 from his very close competitor Bremen Autowerks.SAD part is I have been his customer for YEARS and was recommended by kauffman tire suwanee for the A/C work. Now I kauffman tire probably lost me too.I rarely post reviews however I had to this time.
