Spilled water all over my laptop and thought all my files were gone (which included wedding photos). Stan was able to recover everything incredibly quickly. I will absolutely be going back to Stan for any future tech needs.

Stan helped me to fix my nightmare of a computer. My brother who had built it a few years earlier couldnt even figure out what the issue was with the computer. I called Stan and gave him all the details I could about the computer and then got assistance on it the next day. Stan came to my home and quickly diagnosed that it was not cost effective to fix my 10 year old desktop. We agreed that he should buy a new one, install it and transfer my data from the old machine. He gave me a helpful tutorial on it’s use. Stan also diagnosed that the problem with streaming on my Apple TV was due to my underpowered modem. He purchased and installed another model and now the problem is resolved.I found Stan to be both professional and friendly.

Stan has been a life-saver for me... twice. The first time, we got a terrible worm/virus on the family computer. (Even with virus protection software, it became infected.) Stan took the tower to his workshop, saved all our pictures and documents onto an external hard drive and essentially re-built our computer by reformatting the hard drive and re-installing all the software, downloading updates and uploading our family pictures and documents. He then brought the tower back to our house and made sure everything was working properly... like it never even happened.The second time, my home office computer automatically installed updates that affected my settings. Stan made a house call the same evening I called him. He adjusted my computer to the way it had been previously set-up and I was able to complete my time-sensitive reports that night.Stan is professional, friendly, helpful, and really knows his stuff.I highly recommend the Tech Guy.

I have used Stan the Tech Guy numerous times over the years. Most recently my computer was having error issues and I could not figure out why! Not only did he fix it but he also helped me to set up my desk top so it is easier to understand. Once I got into my office he also remotely set up all my printers so now I am good to go and my computer is running better than ever! I had a number of programs and tons of documents on my slow running computer and after meeting and talking with Stan I fearfully gave him my PC. I didn’t need to worry. The computer is running much faster. He was able to get all my favorite programs up and running and no data was lost. Stan is very patient and knows his stuff. Working with Stan was a wonderful experience. The original purpose for meeting with him was to help me sort out what type of laptop I should consider to replace my legacy MacBookPro as I am going to go with a Windows based computer. After careful consideration and taking into account what I need, I know what to buy and what to look for and will have him help me set it up and get all of my devices synced with back ups and virus protection working properly. He is extremely pleasant and efficient. The real surprise was that he got my Apple up and running after I had not been able to log in for over a year. I had taken my MacBook to the Apple store numerous times over two months to get it to run efficiently. It was now 7 years old and was told repeatedly that it was considered a legacy but I could try several upgrades, more storage, new fan and had some general clean up, etc. Nothing worked (some of which I paid for) and it was very frustrating. Then one day it just stopped and I was not up for more visits to the store, more wasted time on the phone or the sometimes condescending attitude. I get it, they just wanted me to buy a new laptop. Stan was able to determine that it indeed had been backed up to the Cloud (which I did not know), he was able to wipe it clean, put in a new operating system and I was off and running - in less than an hour! This was an inexpensive and convenient solution to getting things done. Thanks Stan!

Stan was great to work with when we were having problems with our computer.He was very knowledgeable and prompt at getting our family computer fixed when the hard drive went bad. My printer wouldnt print, and I need this document right away. I called Stan, The Tech Guy. HELP! He did. By logging onto my computer remotely, he was able to connect my wireless printer to the new router that was just installed. And today he ousted a maleware monster that had taken over my search engine. If youre a solo business owner, even a residential customer who needs to take the SH out of IT, then call the Tech Guy.

Stan was terrific. A true professional who knows how to get your system up and running. He understands how things work, and in our situation, how to get an Internet signal throughout our house. Before Stan arrived we had no Internet on the second floor. No SONOS either. Once diagnosed, and the fix was applied, he was able to establish a strong and constant signal, and SONOS throughout the house. He also contacted me about a week later to see if everything was working to my satisfaction.Tech Guy truly cares about getting the job done correctly. He also is a funny guy and was fun to have working in our home.

I recently asked Stan to restore a MacBook Pro laptop whose hard drive had become damaged. Stan was quick to respond, professional in his communication, and he stuck to his original price estimate (even though I know the work took him longer than originally anticipated due to some complexities with the hard disk). Stan is awesome to work with. Having just moved into our new home, there were quite a few things that needed to get set up and connected such us 4 computers, AppleTV, surround sound system and syncing garage openers to our cars. What he did was far better than that.He first helped me select a new computer. He then purchased that computer for me. That way I got it more quickly without any additional cost to me. He then set up my new computer. He organized it better and made it much easier to use then my dying older computer. He then went on to synchronize the email on my new computer with the emails I receive via my iPhone and iPad.I came to Stan with a request to save my dying computer. What I got was a total solution to all the problems I had but had wrongly been willing to tolerate. His work not only upgraded my electronics, but made them all play together as one system. What a great result.I find Stan to be one of the most knowledgeable techies I know. In addition, he is prompt and reasonable in both his personality and his pricing. He is very reliable, easy to deal with and gives excellent advice. This was my first visit to Stan. From the outset of our first phone conversation, he was a great listener to my problem, providing some suggestions. I had been without a laptop, which is key to my small business, for about three weeks. One file was needed to complete the installation on my new computer. I have had Stan work with me 2 times on computer issues. Besides being a really nice guy, he has a wealth of knowledge with computers. The first time he came to my home he eliminated the causes of a slow computer. He cleaned up any internal problems, changed my email account to a free one, added suggested anti virus and malware security, and, in general, fixed anything that needed updating. While doing this, he wanted to explain what he was doing and make sure I understood the benefits and changes to my computer.Now, a year later, Stan helped me with some other computer concerns. He was able to make certain corrections over the phone with me. I HIGHLY recommend Stan to anyone whose business and personal needs require technology! I have 3 Apple products, none of which were syncing properly or running smoothly. In laymans terms, not tech talk, Stan was able to ask great diagnostic questions, explain what he could do to fix the problems and what it would take to do so. Although I thought I understood the problems, turns out there were several weird things going on with my devices, some of which I had just learned to live with over time with workarounds.
