Chad and his crew are phenomenal! Most of the reviews on here are for tree removal, but dont sleep on the landscaping part of this team. My lawn had grading issues; they pulled up my patio, corrected the grade in multiple locations, and put the patio back even better than it was before. The crew was also friendly and professional. I have already hired them again for removal of a dead tree, and I know that their work will be just as thorough and careful. Thank you for the excellent service, Chad!

Chad took down two scary big ash trees that were very close to the house. So close, in fact, that when the wind blew, the porch creaked. They took down the trees without me fainting and cleaned up great. Best price by far. I like that Chad prefers to save trees if possible and can recommend replacement trees and provide landscape design

I called to get a plowing service done went to voicemail. 10 minutes later got a call from the owner and he got to my place 20 minutes after our call did a pretty decent job. Very satisfied. ( one other thing I loved is that after he left I saw something I needed to get done and he took his time to come back again and do it for me.)

Chad and his crew were here yesterday to remove a tree and trim & prune another that were between my house and my neighbor. It was tight space. They handled it. It took no time at all. I contacted CPL Landscape and Tree Service with several other positively reviewed tree companies that either didnt return my phone call or failed to keep the agreed upon appointment. Chad at CPL came out the same day I called and gave me a fair quote on the removal of a large dead maple and trimming of a large pair of elm trees. Chad and his crew showed up on time on 1/17/21and did a great job. The warned me ahead of time that there might be some scarring of the lawn from the removal. There was some but its nothing that a little dirt and seed wont cure once spring is here. They had the chipper on site and did a good job of cleaning up when they were done. I would recommend CPL Landscape and Tree Service to anyone looking for a reasonable, reliable, and professional tree service company.

I called Chad and they gave us a very fair quote to remove three old, large cedars that were between iron hand rails and some fairly tight houses. We used CPL to cut down four trees and prune one. It was a major project. When we first met Chad, he was one of the nicest and down to earth guys. He made me feel comfortable with all my questions so I can narrow down everything we wanted done. Chad worked with me daily with all the weather nuances until we were able to get a good schedule in.They came on the promised day with a GREAT crew and went to work right away. These guys are top-notch!! They do everything safely and efficiently until all is done. What impressed me most is the meticulous efforts they all made spending more time cleaning up then cutting. From the moment I met Chad until the last leaf was taken away, Chads crew was quick, efficient and thorough. Chad himself is responsive and a pleasure to work with and his price was very reasonable. We had a huge infested, compromised tree that needed to come down completely. The stump grinding isnt even completed yet - I was eager to get this very positive and unsolicited review out there as people are dealing with storm damage. They also trimmed an overgrown holly and cleaned up every last twig.

Im planning a solar panel installation and needed the neighbors tree tops trimmed back. Chad was very helpful and made recommendations for the tree trimming to last significantly longer for my needs. Chad came out the next morning after I called and gave an estimate on the removal of trees lining the back of my property, which I was very happy with. One of the other companies I called said they wanted no parts of the job bc of trees behind my shed and how difficult it would be to get to them. CPL was great. They had a great price, were responsive to my needs and made quick work of my old beach tree while trimming two others. They left me the pieces for firewood as I asked and they even went back to take one more branch down I noticed after they were done and packing up.

After a windy storm I had a large branch from a very tall pine tree crush my shed. The remaining tree appeared unstable. I called several tree businesses and everyone was backed up because of this storm. Chad was able to adjust his schedule and get his crew to remove the large branch and the tree. The crew was fascinating to watch! They were quick and thorough, leaving my property spotless and ready for me to mow!

Did not honor commitment. Agreed to do work at a specific price. My mistake was to pay in advance. Half the work not done, after weeks of sending unheeded reminders. I amnnow doing g the work myself. Extremely disappointed with a local business not honoring commitment.

Chad was absolutely amazing to us this past week. We had horrible storms come through the area on Monday and a tree fell on our car. We called Chad on Tuesday for an estimate and he came right out. On Thursday the tree was completely removed off our driveway. My husband (Anthony) did all the communication and had nothing but positive things to say about Chad and CPL. Great company and really took care of our customers!

Just had Chad and his crew trim all of the trees on my property. They did a great job thinning out the canopies on my oak and poplar trees providing much needed sunlight to my grass. Clean up was so thorough that you could not even tell they were there after they finished. I have also used CPL in the past to remove a dead tree and put in an EP Henry walkway and they did excellent work.

Great quality of work, responsive, best price in comparison to competitors! Left some ruts on the lawn from the trucks, but I suppose that is normal when you are dealing with tree removal. Very happy overall!

Chad and his crew recently took down two really tall trees in our backyard. He has taken down about three or four trees over the 20 years we’ve been here In Springfield. Has also done work pruning and cleaning up the trees over the years as well. Just wanted to let everybody know that these are the guys to call. Impressed how he took the time too really figure out how to get this job done since it was such a difficult one. I feel like Chad is a great problem solver. Had another tree service come out and they just didn’t know what to do. The one thing that always impress me through the years is that Chad gets back in touch with you almost immediately if you have questions or concerns. These guys are the best! I first used them on a recommendation from a neighbor. A large pine tree was knocked down in my front yard during Hurricane Sandy. Chad was at my house within an hour of my call. The price was very reasonable and the tree was removed within 24 hours. Since then, I have used them numerous times to clean up trees in my yard.
