This place is so unprofessional lady answering the phone has a smart mouth and rude and think it’s funny to be sarcastic. Took 3 hours for a tow when I told them I had work said they’ll be there within a hour a hour and a half. Then said they couldn’t take my payment over the phone and couldn’t wait for my to rush back from work then kept hanging up the phone on me

Having you car towed is horrible. But I will say she has great customer service for someone on the towing business. I wish I would of caught her name. I gave 4 because of her skills...

Our company truck was towed there on a Friday after an accident. We were not allowed to take it out until Monday, they also restrict who can get the vehicle. Being more than 2 hours from me, they wanted an original signature on a form to release the truck. Lastly the bill was insane, they are crooks!

Ripoff!! I got into an accident that totaled my car last week. It was not far from CJs nor my house,and the car was only in the tow yard for 3 and a half days and they had the audacity to charge me almost $230 dollars just to be able to get my belongings out of the car.

CJs team was great to us when our car was stolen and then recovered in a chase by Mass State Police.

The owner is a very bad person, i had a car towed and he made me sign it to him for me to be able to get my wallet from it also i had a car accident and because the car was on my dads name he did not let me get my things either, i understand there are rules everywhere but have some heart man, they start all nice and after businesses grow they show their real colors

They broke the light on the trailer of the boat and they crushed the frame. Not happy they sent a newbie to load a boat and trailer. Glad they sent someone after the damage was done.

The worse place to do business. You will get an over rated rudeness and disrespect from the employees in the office. I called to ask a question, he did not answer me and he hung up the phone. The woman there was so mean and her language was out of this world and not being there before i didnt know what to do and she took it out on me. There is a sign posted saying dont be disrespectful etc to the employees but its apparently ok for them to do it to the customer. I know i was mis treated by them having my disabilities and it showed and she still disrespected me. Im going to file another complaint higher up and go to thr people who hold the contract for them in the city of Springfield.

These guys have no shame at all. They are not interested in anything you have to say - no compassion whatsoever. They towed my car off a street for reasons that didn’t exit. First they say that my car was abandoned, then that is was not registered, then that it blocked an entry, which were all a lies. They blamed the errors on the Springfield police and charged me a lot money still. There is a game that’s being played there - they don’t care as long as someone is cashing in.

CJ towed two of my cars citing a snow ban. My cars were properly parked and included in another small group of cars that were towed that night from the same side. However there were still many cars still on the same side of the street that weren’t. So we’re we really towing for a snow ban or for profit?When I called to locate my vehicles CJ couldn’t find them in their system even though they were towed hours earlier. It wasn’t until I contacted the police department and called CJ back that they were able to finally locate one of them.After retrieving my cars and paying the bogus total fine of 350$ (a week before Christmas) for them having my cars not even 5 hours I voiced my frustrations which were met with 0 compassion and care. When I reviewed my tow receipts I noticed they listed my vehicles being at addresses that don’t even exist!!Overall I had to pay 350$ to collect MY PROPERTY that was properly parked even after relaying this info I was told to take it up with the police department because they made the mistake but I still had to pay CJ!? Where’s the ownership how can you admit an error was made place blame with someone else but STILL collect a fine/fee for an error that was made!? How is this not fraud!?I’ve never had any of my cars in my entire life get towed but if I ever needed one CJ wouldn’t be the one to call. Shifty business tactics collecting a consumers money while referencing someone else is at fault.

Beyond Horrible They Dont Work With People and They Charge An Arm and a Leg. They just Rob People

On January 13th 2017 I was involved in a Motor Vehicle Accident while riding my power wheelchair and CJs Towing was called to pickup my now totaled wheelchair. I asked them to just tow it back to my house which was one block away from the accident and I would pay them a simple towing fee. The driver refused and towed it to their main office instead. When I got home from the hospital I called them to inquire about the wheelchair. They told me that it was the drivers choice to drop it off at my house or at the office and I would have to pay a fee to get the wheelchair back and for them to tow it back to my house. I told them that isnt possible because I was recovering from the accident and I am on a fixed income. That didnt matter to them so I told them to keep it.A short time ago I got a call from them concerning the wheelchair and the current bill on it which was almost $15,000 in storage fees. I told them again thats your problem because your driver chose to do things the hard way. I myself and my family will never use this company for anything! 😡

They towed my car by mistake. When I told them that I have a new parking label and I able to point out. They wont listen, and only keep to told me to pay.

First, the place smelled like urine and cigarettes. Everyone in the waiting area was being nice and joking because we were all in the same boat. The staff was incredibly rude. Woman about mid-thirties with dark hair was a complete you-know-what for absolutely no reason. I get it if you hate your job but don’t take it out on people whose days are already ruined. What a cash cow.

Had to get a tow from Springfield to south Hadley was told a 20-25 minute wait my driver mike was there in 10 very professional and quick allowed me and my little sister to sit in the truck to avoid the pouring rain, 10/10 would use cj again.

This is hands down the most professionally operated service I have ever called, prpt service, great rated and very nice ployees they even tow tractor trailers and heavy equipment. If you are stranded or stuck somewhere this is who you want to call!

I had to take a minute to recommend this company to anyone that could find themselves in the same situation my company was in. We needed to retrieve a company vehicle in the Chicago area and we are based in Texas. I called and spoke with Tina - they picked up our vehicle as requested and stored it overnight inside for safe keeping until we could get someone to Chicago to pick it up. This was all done for a very reasonable fee. I made my choice from a couple of positive reviews I found on them since I didnt know the area. People are not going to believe this, but every word is the truth. It amazed me too, yet heres what happen.This company was called to tow my vehicle by my insurance company because my daughter and my granddaughterwhere stranded due to a flat tire today (10/6/2017) with my car I needed to walk to the site and it took me approx. 1.5 hours. The driver had arrived 10 minutes before me. Due to time constraints, the dealer originally selected was closing and therefore we needed to go somewhere else to repair. I explained this to the tow driver but he refused to take the car anywhere else. I then called my insurance company and they told me it didnt matter where we went to repair and the driver shouldnt have refused. She also told me they where charging $52 more than the usual rate. I paid the $52 to the driver and turned to pick up my purse and the driver took off leaving me, my daughter and my 4 year old granddaughter on the curb. I was blown away! He knew we had no means to get home because my daughter told the driver this. I got a phone call 5 minutes later from my insurance company saying the towing company called them and wanted a additional $30 because the driver had to wait because I had to contact my insurance company, and if I didnt pay it they would lock my car in their lot until it was paid. I was again, blown away. This company leaves us on the side of the road and now are demanding I pay for time the driver wasted!! My insurance company was beyond embarrassed and couldnt believe what I was telling them. This was probably the worst experience to date for my family. My insurance company is filing a claim against them and I will be taking steps to make certain they never do this to anyone else ever again.

Its not a law when u get into a car accident that cjs has to take ur car. U have the right to choose any tow company u like even through ur insurance keep that in mind.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A LAWYER!!!If you get into a car accident and your car is sent here, make sure you don’t have anything in your car because they will steal it, they will not allow you to take anything out of your car unless you pay them, that includes Prescriptions and anything medical. Make sure you have a lawyer ready because everything they’re doing is extremely illegal!!! The company needs to get shut down. The police need to get more involved, even though they are the ones who send the cars there after the accidents. This is been an issue that has been ongoing And has affected many many people.

Terrible experience. The people there are rude and have no idea what they are doing.I was in an accident on the highway. My car was towed there by the state police, who told me I could take my belongings out of the car. The woman at the counter made me wait for ten minutes before even answering. Then she was very rude to me, and told me, we are not the police, and you cant have ANYTHING out of the car.There were ways to get my belongings, but she did not want to take the time to explain them to me. After I persisted, she said I could open a claim and get my insurance to fax the information. She did not explain what information and said, its not my job for you to know what paperwork you need. How else am I supposed to know what YOUR company needs? It took an hour and I was not able to get my belongings. She would not even let me take my house keys!So, after a lot of trouble for no reason, I had to return the next day to get my belongings after my insurance company and many forms were faxed. Then they managed to lose my car and have me wandering around in the cold looking for it, and they lost my keys! I had to wait an hour again for them to find out that someone had them in his pocket.Incredibly unprofessional.If you see this tow truck arrive, ask for someone else. If you have AAA like I do, do not let the police use this company.

Worst towing service they are fast picking up your car but rude and disrespectful. they placed a shrink wrap on my window cause it was open, mind you the shrink wrap had wholes in it and top layer was completely off, the had the nerves to charge me $75 for that. I claimed for my refund and they said well ill give you $40 back take it or leave it only giving you that because my guy did a poor job with that said I shouldve been returned my full amount when I spent $500 getting 2 cars out of there

I had a good experience with them. Everyone was polite and respectful and they explained everything I needed to know about the situation clearly. I had no questions after they were done. The employees that I dealt with there are knowledgeable and experienced.I noted that people came into the place and they are very emotional because theyve been in an accident, they had their car towed, or because they didnt follow the rules and now they had to deal with it. The employees have to be firm with people from time to time because they dont appear to be listening. Perhaps they think if they raise their voice and/or pester them they will get a different answer. Either way, the rudeness I saw their came from customers not the staff.

If I could give zero stars I would. Towing charges are through the roof and when 3 trucks show up and charge per attendant no honestly the ones who repaired or towed. Thats highway robbery!

My husband and I were broken down last night (3-16-18) 1020 pm. on 90 west on mass pike. Tim was the tow driver. He was Pleasant and very respectful. He had to put our F350 diesel on the flat bed. It was extremely cold and he worked with with a smile and never griped one bit. We had Tim drop us off at the Blandford rest stop as we had another truck and trailer coming from RI to pick us up. He wishes us luck went on his way.The only thing I have to say is I wish it was not A Chevy towing my ford. LOL.

Positive and negative here. Car was in a accident, brought here. I needed to sign the release for that auto shop to get it for insurance reasons, bit of a pain to do that, took forever. But they did drive me to my car and allowed me to get some personal items out of it, and drove me back without issue. The lot is kinda big so that was nice

They towed my van and was never given permission to get my personal belonging.. They basically robbed me. I had a 55inch samsung led t.v,clothing,tools, and personal papers (ssi cards date of birth etc.) When i asked if i may get my things i was told NO!!

Terrible service. Worker was rude. Paid $200 to get a terrible tow job. Car started leaking as they were trying to tow the car because the tow company wasnt paying attention to the bottom of the car. Quote We just sit here and wait for people to get towed at this one location. They knew this area that I got towed in has a lot of accidents and didnt say a single word to the town to change up the scene to make it more safe and drive-able for people. Instead, the want money and wait for accidents to happen.

Seems like they have a reputation for being horrible. To bad I have to add...I remember years ago CJs towing was so wonderful. Now they are rude as hell!! I guess they have balls because the have a contract with the police. I was trying to get information on my car that was towed and the person was rude and yelled at me and then hung up in my face.Why are they in business??

They arrived in no time at all and easily transported my vehicle after my starter failed. After some mix-up and overcharging the owner CJ called me a few weeks later to apologize and reimburse me. Kudos to him and any business owner that takes responsibility is top notch.

CJs Unlimited is right on the money with that name. Not only do they do tows but they are life savers too. My elderly mother locked her keys in the car and was stranded at the supermarket. I had no way to get to her so I called CJs. They got to her in 10-15 minutes and took care of everything. She was so nervous that she couldnt find her card to pay. They told it was ok and if she found it later she could pay them or donate the money to the flood victims in Texas. Ty so much!!!!!

Worst service ever. They have a contract with the city of Springfield so they can get away with overcharges. There needs to be an initiative made to have that contract cancelled. Someone needs to start an initiative and gather signatures and complain to the city and get many others too. Also get local and state media aware of what is going on there.

First thing to take note of: I never write reviews. Its a waste of time, and service is rarely terrible enough to warrant me taking time out of my day to write a review. Cue CJs Towing.They warrant me taking time out of my day to write a review. Of course, it wasnt all bad, One or two of the people who worked there were somewhat decent. But unfortunately, there was way more bad than good.So my car was in an accident and the city had CJs tow it. Apparently they have a contract with the city. My car was there for 5 days at $35 per day. I called them on the first day to find out the rate, and thats what they told me. Once I decided what Id have done with my car, and where itd be brought, I called them again. The price had gone from $135 (5 days * $35 per day) to nearly $400. I asked for an explanation. They led by saying there needed to be glass wrap put on a broken window....but none of my windows had been broken. Maybe a simple mistake, which after two hours they called back to correct. But then, that still left well over $300 to pay. I asked why, and they said there was a city fee.I figured to let sleeping dogs lie, agreed to pay the fee and pick up the car the next day, just to get all of this over with. But then after hanging up I decided to double check with the city. According to them, though the cost of towing was a bit more when the car was leaving the scene of an accident, there was no city fee. Even the extra cost for towing didnt account for how high CJs was charging me.So the next day, when I went to CJs, I asked them again about the pricing. The lady at the front desk gave me completely different prices (after making me wait at the window for ages before coming over to help me). But by then, I really was over it. Maybe I sustained head damage from the accident, maybe it was from having to drive back and forth there three times after not being given all the needed information, maybe it was from being made to wait AGAIN the second and third time around for the lady to come over to help, but I paid the nearly $320 and left. Suffice to say, if I never go there again itll be too soon. Getting in car accidents sucks. But dealing with CJs is even worse.Also, just remembered that I had one of those highway toll readers in my car. When I went to clear it out today...it was gone. Thanks CJs.

Do you have money to burn?Then this is the place for you! Following an auto accident in which my car was totalled, I had the officer contact whoever they usually refer to for tow service. Bad idea! They drove my car up on the flatbed, hooked it and drug it up there. Took it a whole 4.5 miles to their yard and charged me $200. Or, I could just sign my title over--which of course, being a poor person, was the only hope I had of getting a little cash out of the deal. Nope. Even tried to reason with the guy--he wouldnt budge. Told him I hope he can sleep at night because ripping off veterans whose ex-husbands dont pay child support and struggle financially every day is not good karma.

These people towed a car due to an accident and refused to let my wife get her personal belongings that were contained in a backpack and the staff were rude and threatening and police would do nothing because they have the city contract. The car was totaled from an accident with an uninsured motorist. DONT USE THESE PEOPLE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE!!!!!

We always use them and they drive all the way out to Burra and charge a low rate. they ARE great VALUE and really NICE and PROFESSIONAL.
