I would use literally any other pool contractor in Missouri rather than this business. It’s clear that they use day laborers off the street who have no idea what they’re doing. The owner was also incredibly difficult and straight up lied about pricing and what services were necessary.

We needed pool closing & my wife called them. The woman said they charged $119.00 an hour. They required us to come by & give our credit card & fill out a form of what we needed done. 3 days later a man parked in our cul de sac & he walked into our yard. My wife went out where he was & simply asked some questions. He said that they would put in 30 gallons of antifreeze & we know that in the 25 years weve had the pool we never paid for more than 1 or 2 gallons. Some red flags came up & we decided to call & cancel their service. The woman said our service for the closing would be $500-$600 dollars & if we canceled they would charge a cancellation fee of one hours service $119.00 even though NO service was done at all! I called back & told that we were notifying our credit card co. to void the charge. I looked online at our charges on the credit card & she put another charge of &119.00 on our credit card. When our credit card co.investigated the woman said we had 2 different invoices & actually we had no service done at all. This is FRAUD & no one should ever trust this company!

Superior Customer Service:One the most helpful and friendly staff I have had the pleasure to do business with. Lynkin went out of her way to help me get a pump for my pool, even agreeing to meet me when they were closed. I will definitely be giving them my business.

Would not recommend. The owner is obtuse, to put it politely. He’ll tell you he’s been in business for however many years, but that doesn’t make him a good contractor. Also they have political stickers on their business vans, so make of that what you will.

I have been dealing with these guys for years they have always pointed me in the right direction when it comes to setting up, taking down, and maintaining! Super friendly staff with great knowledge. I highly recommend.

We contacted Doug with a long-distance question about our pool. He responded immediately and gave us very good advice. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

The shorter, dark completed worker, shows up everyday with an infectious smile & an incredible work ethic. He seems to out work everyone despite being twice the age and half the size of the others, and does so with a positive, helpful attitude. It’s great to see a pool company with such dedicated, hard working, knowledgeable people.

I cannot vouch for the quality of work that Indian Summer Pool & Spa does but I cannot recommend them based on our experience. We scheduled an appointment to get an estimate for patio work. The appointment was for 1:30. We received a Google calendar confirmation for 1:00-2:30. At 11:54 we received a voice message from the office that the rep was delayed and if we needed more info to call him. Having not received any additional updates, my husband called the rep at 2:30. The rep said he had an emergency but should be at our house in approximately an hour plus drive time. He showed up at 4:30. In an email later that evening the rep inferred that the voice message from the office and our call to him were “ample proof of reasonable communication and effort in meeting our appt. time.” We disagree. We understand emergencies; however, we do not appreciate a disregard for our time. We expect contractors to be punctual, good communicators, and professional. We did not experience this with Indian Summer Pool & Spa.

Great selection except no above ground pools unfortunately

Indian Summer Pool and Spas have renewed my faith in people that do exactly what they say they will do, when they say they will do it and for the amount of money they quote. For a reasonable price, we were able to have our pool repaired and renewed in a very reasonable amount of time! The employees are all very helpful and answer all questions. Friendly and respectful! I have and will continue to refer this amazing company for any pool needs!

Doug Fender and his staff have always taken such great care of us and our pool. Every time an issue arises they are very timely in dealing with the situation. Doug works very hard to make everything right and go smoothly. I highly recommend them to take care of any pool or spa regularly or fix any issues that have been pre existing or due to a bad pool company in the past!

Love the job and appreciate the challenges and rewards it offers. Doug Fender is an amazing boss who recognizes the needs of others and is always first to lend a helping hand.

Horrible customer service

What impressed me most is how organized this company is. Everybody knows what everyone else is doing. I know that sounds standard but trust me -- its not. Ive tried many pool companies where everyone but the owner is clueless as to whats going on.Another aspect of the company is they communicate with you when any delay happens. Again, many dont even bother to call you or just blow you off over and over again because they are busy with another project expecting you to keep up with them.Finally, these guys really know what they are doing and clean up after themselves and dont charge you an arm and a leg. Ive had three different pool companies and two of them were awful.1) Overcharged for everything (Vaughn Pool)2) Did $2000 dollars worth of work and all of it had to be redone since the paint peeled and the tiling that was promised was just a bad strip of plastic covering the tile. This place is BAD, BAD,BAD, (Aqua Associates)Anyway, high praise and feel good about your choice.

Doug personally came out and gave us an estimate on a pool we wanted done. After comparing prices we decided to go with him and couldnt be happier with the results. We told him exactly what we were looking for and what our budget was and he was able to work with us on everything and it ended up costing less than we initially thought. Ive already saved his number in my phone in case we need any services done in the future.

This summer we had a new liner, Heat Pump, cover and our deck refinished by Indian Summer. Everyone was great to work with and the quality of the work excellent. They styed in contact wth us on any problem or delay and stuck to the bid prices. I would recommend them without a doubt for any pool work to be done. Doug L

I called Indian Pools to schedule for someone to come out for a quote for a pool.Doug Fender shows up unannounced and I had no time and told him I only do appts. He then rescheduled 3 different times always cancelling to reschedule the hour he was expected, giving excuses over a month!This last time he preceeded to argue with me of his excuses and talked over me!He is unprofessional and I told him that his behavior only showed what I would get doing business with him. No thank you!

Doug went out of his way to explain the ins and outs of buying a pool and also what to look for when buying a house that already has a pool. He knew that I was not going to be in the market for his services in the immediate future, however that did not stop him from taking the time educate me on the process as a whole.
