Jeff is a rock star. Trying to get ahold of 13” M1 MBP (with 16fb of RAM, so non-standard) for some video editing. They didn’t have any in stock so Jeff offered to take a look through their extended network to see if anyone might have the build I needed.He said he’d “call me back” which I could only roll my eyes at because, you know, we’ve all heard that before.But you know what, he did call me back, in short order as well. He said he couldn’t find the exact build in stock anywhere, but he had found a couple builds that were very close. He then walked me through those options and we proceeded from there.Super impressed by the attention to detail and the quick turn around. Definitely would recommend this place, and Jeff in particular, if you need to get a Mac in the Springfield area.

NEVER COME HERE!!! Horrible customer service and they lie to you! Dropped my computer off due to a backlight problem, told me the part was not cover under warranty and it would cost $600 + service fees. (More then the computer is worth) I call apple to confirm and they notify me that the computer is under warranty and to get my computer back IMMEDIATELY!To top it off, when I call to notify them I’m going to pick my computer up due to it being under warranty, the technician Cut me off and hung up on me.I learned me lesson, and hopefully I can’t prevent you from making the same mistake. Stick with apple trusted service providers, not these frauds.

Ive had a Mac desktop for 2 years, and it just has never been right. For rarely being used and being high powered, it was always super super slow from the first time I used it. Brought it to Database-Everything Apple and I was very impressed by the time they took to make sure it was fixed. First couple tries they said the issue wasnt resolved with what they thought it might be, so they kept trying. After another attempt they said they found the solution, and I was very happy when I got back home, plugged it in, and it acted like it should and was fast and running smooth!

I took my MacBook in because I was having issues with the keyboard. I had a diagnostic done same-day, and was able to keep my laptop while we waited on parts. When it came time to actually get the repair done, it was complete same-day as well. Overall, my use was not interrupted by an extended repair time, like Ive experienced with other computer repair places in the past. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Sadly I ordered a battery here, but was never called about replacing the battery. I called several weeks later to be told that everyone is out of batteries, well this is a certified apple store and this is not acceptable business practice. They could not give me an ETA and put my name on a list, then never contacted me - but said they did when I spoke with them on the phone. Maybe contact someone and LEAVE A MESSAGE?! Maybe Apple should find a different provider in Springfield, waiting 6 months on a battery and then not getting notified when its in will not work for me or any Apple customer.

Took my macbook pro in when it wouldnt boot. The tech confirmed the issue by trying to reset it several times at the desk when I took it in. Im in IT myself and only took it in after an extensive amount of research.A few days later the tech called me and said that he finally got around to working on it and that it had booted on the first try magically and he was ready to give it back to me.I went in and they tried to charge me $119 for letting the thing sit on the shelf for a few days. I argued with them and they reduced it down the $59 since that is their minimum service charge.The next day the issue started happening again. After spending more time on the issue I was able to diagnose it and fix it myself.Dont take your Mac into this shop, theyll just waste your time.EDIT: Ive emailed Jeff and have been waiting for his response.

Rick has saved my life at least twice. The technician in service dept( shes a lady!) is the absolute queen of computers if you ask me. I always feel like Im freeloading when I call with questions so I never ask more than one unless I am out of my mind with frustration like whenI get a spam message that tells me my computer is preparing tocrash or give my personal data to the entire pirate world. I took a Mac class that did nothing for me, but then I reserved an hour of private instruction and got everything I needed at the time. Wish I could getsome help with Scrivener and digital picture storage. I have heard from i phone users that the I phone instruction is a must do. And so I must, since my I phone is clearly smarter than me. I hope this place and these people NEVER go away.

Database SAVED my MacBook! My cats dumped some water on it and then the fans were running at maximum speed, and it was taking FOREVER to load anything. Unusable at this point. My husband first took it to Simply Mac at Battlefield Mall, and without even looking at it, they told him that if there was any water damage, it would most likely cost at least $900 to repair, and then tried to sell him a new Mac. He then took it to Database, and they found that a fan needed to be replaced. Thats it. Between the parts and labor, it was only $150 to fix. I am such a happy customer. Thank you SO MUCH Database!!

Awesome service that was very quick and painless! I had a part replaced after my 6 year old mac died in the midst of several important deadlines. They had my machine back to me in less than 24 hours. Due to the nature of the repair, they said Apple would cover it (even though my laptop was no longer under warranty), therefore I was not charged a dime. I could have been charged labor and probably wouldnt have known the difference, so I greatly appreciate their honesty!

Highly recommend. Staff member Jeff Baird bent over backwards to get an irregular MBP in from New Jersey before I had to leave on a business trip. Not only did it arrive in time, but he also took the liberty of updating the system for me and installed a few system applications that I use on a regular basis. I was very disappointed in our service by Database. My husband and I welcomed our sweet daughter in February, so you can imagine my dismay when our hard drive crashed on our relatively new iMac. I was terrified we had lost all of those PRICELESS pictures of my pregnancy, her sweet little squishy face immediately following her birth, newborn photos/videos, etc. When I heard that Database could likely retrieve all of our data and transfer to a new hard drive... I was elated. We agreed to pay for the data recovery and transfer (HAPPILY), and Database was supposed to work on it. We didnt hear anything, didnt hear anything, didnt hear anything, so we finally called them to see if it was done. Not only had it been done for quite some time (no phone call), but they had shipped off our hard drive to be disposed of WITHOUT transferring ANY of the data. So, YES, I did lose all of those precious moments we had captured at not at the misfortune of failing technology, but at the hands of a careless and unprofessional staff. I was extremely disappointed in this companys attention to detail (obviously), professionalism, and service. I will not be going back, and I strongly discourage anyone else from doing so either. This totally bums me out to type considering I am huge supporter of small, local business, but I do NOT want anyone to have to go through that same heartbreak I experienced.

Great place to buy a Mac. However, at one point, I took my iMac in for repair. When I got it back, it still had problems so I had to erase and reinstall OS myself. The tech guy was nice, but having to do what I just paid $99 for was not a good value. No refund or concessions were offered on my payment. But great place to work with when considering a new purchase.

I’ve been a customer since Mac OS 9 days and always look forward to checking in with them. Back when Mac OS X (ahem, macOS) was brand new and still required CD-ROM updates I would buy them here, along with all things iPod/Mac. A fantastic store and highly recommended.

I should have went to Database Systems first.After having a hard drive die in our Mac Notebook on a Saturday evening, I made the mistake of taking it to Best Buy and signing up for their Tech Service Subscription program. When I tried to restore the last back up from our Time Capsule, it wouldnt work, so I went to Database Systems at the recommendation of a tech support person who was helping me. Best thing I ever did. The folks here are second-to-none at customer service, especially Curtis. They were able to determine that Best Buy had installed a defective hard drive in my Notebook, and had a new one in within an hour. I will NEVER use Best Buys tech support again.

I used to take all my apple products here but service seems to have dropped off some and the younger gentleman doing the repairs seems to be a little overwhelmed. I had to call 3 or 4 times before being told that I could come up and pick up the computer. They never notified me when the computer was done being repaired, it seemed that it was up to me to stay on them about it. I had also asked to replace the battery on the computer and when I went to pick it up the technician told me I could just buy it online and do it myself even though I had asked for the repair to be done (in his defense, I think he was trying to save me money). All the workers here are very friendly and maybe they were just having a very busy couple weeks.

Everyone in the place is so helpful & smart. No pushy sales, just practical folks that want to help you not only get what you need, but solutions to solve your computing issues. We were thinking of switching from PC to Mac and just couldnt take the plunge. After visiting the store, we purchased 2 minis & a macbook pro in less than a week. Thats going on 2 years ago. If I have a question, I still can call and they tell me what to do on the phone. If they cant get me fixed on the phone, I can bring something in. Ive had them set up stuff at the house & it was very cost effective.I should say I would have bought a higher end laptop, but when I told them what I was doing with it, they told me I didnt need what I thought.If youre looking for a place that really knows the product & what it does & will not forget your name once you sign the credit card receipt, go here.Oh, and if you are thinking of switching over, yes, its true, you will spend your time doing what you want or need instead of restarting your pc every time it jams, buying antivirus that interrupts you all the time and swearing at the pc because it wont do what you want ... go mac, youll never go back.
