I needed my 2013 iMac repaired, but neither Apple nor Best Buy would look at it since it was vintage. I took it to Hyperion as a last resort and was immediately wowed by the staff.Everyone was professional, honest, knowledgeable, and transparent throughout the whole process. They called with updates and laid out next steps clearly and without any sort of upsell.From drop-off to pickup, it probably took about 4 weeks, which was no biggie for me since I wasnt in a rush. I was just thrilled they saved me $2,500 by not having to buy a new computer. Highly, highly recommended. I will definitely come back with any future tech issues that arise!Thank you, Hyperion!

My hard drive failed and I hadn’t backed up my work or my photos in almost a year. I took it to Geek Squad and they said they couldn’t retrieve anything and I would need to send it out and pay $300-$1200 to recover my documents. Called Hyperion. They were very kind and understanding. He asked us to bring it in so he could look and see if he could try anything. Before we left he felt confident he could do something for us. Sure enough he was able to recover every single document and picture for me!!!!! I was so grateful and I now back everything up. Forget Geek Squad - Hyperion is far superior! Thanks so much Hyperion.

I highly recommend this place! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I took my gaming pc in and they diagnosed why my pc was running so slow and when I got it back it was running better than ever.

I took my ps4 to them to get the disc drive fixed they held it for two weeks and gave it back worse than it was before now the controller will randomly disconnect and not do what I want it to but when I tried it on my brothers console it worked perfectly fine.

Very help staff. Always pull through for me when I need a part fast. I recommend my customers to them for screen repairs on tablets and phones.

I had previously been to Hyperion for an iPad repair, and they did just fine. Today I went back with a new IPad and needed assistance with setting up the iPad. Being a senior citizen, Im not sure on how to do some of even the simplest of tasks. These guys assisted me in completely setting up the iPad plus helped me set up my hot spot. They never charged me a dime. Thats service! I fully expected to pay something, but in what was difficult for me, was a simple fix for them. I will send all my fellowship their way.

The folks here are friendly.When I took my daughters phone in to get a cracked screen replaced, the part they received was faulty. Thankfully, they have a good 3 month warranty on their service and replaced it again at no cost.Mostly happy with their service.

Great service from knowledgeable staff. My desktop DVD player was stuck with a DVD inside; it was totally destroyed, not just a stuck DVD.. Mike diagnosed and was able to install the new DVD player in a few minutes while I waited. He plugged the desktop in and I was able to ensure all worked well. When I logged in, Mike identified malware on my PC and took the the time to remove all bits of the app from my hard drive..... more than just an uninstall of software! The staff at Hyperion have always been helpful and competent. Also, today I noticed they have some refurbished laptops and IPADs at awesome prices....I noted for future purchase. Recommend you use this business for your tech needs!

Long story short: they sold me a 150 dollar hard drive and charged me installation for a repair job that didnt fix my computer then refused to stand by their work (by refusing to take a return on the hard drive I didnt need).They demonstrated a lack of technical ability and an absence of integrity. I will never patronize Hyperion again.

If you break your phone get it fixed at Hyperion! I cant say enough about how pleased I was with their service and extremely fast turn around. They fixed my iPhone 6 while I was out shopping and now it looks brand new. I had it fixed once before someplace else and the part they used had a lower quality image and just looked terrible. It looks brand new now after Hyperion replaced the screen.

One of the few local computer stores left in the Springfield area Hyperion offers rebuilds repair and some parts and cables for those people with an interest in computers.there are a lot of different model computers for you to choose from if youre looking from a Chromebook to an iPad new or used there is lots of hardware and smart people to walk you through the process of buying a computer that fits your needs.

Great Customer Service and PricesIve been building custom gaming computers for my children for many years which has been tons of fun. Recently one computer went south and I narrowed the problem down to either the motherboard, processor or power supply. I had no spare parts to swap out for testing so I took it into Hyperion. They do not charge for trouble shooting and found my problem right away and sold me a top shelf power supply at a very fair price. I enjoyed my visit and realized they also build very high end gaming computers with all the newest components. The one on the showroom floor was about as good as you can get and a great price. These people stand by their work, are very friendly and attentive to your needs. I highly recommend visiting them, even if it is just to check out all the cool stuff in the show room.

These guys are awesome. They gave me an excellent price for a gaming pc. The customer service was awesome as well. They explained everything in a way that I could understand and they taught me about what the graphics cards ram and processors were good for and what all of it meant so when I devide to upgrade my pc in the future I have a little more knowledge on them now. Overall had a very good experience. They didnt seem rushed or annoyed about me asking questions they were glad to help me it seemed. I recommend this place to everyone. Zero/5 . Theyre fools at best and crooks at worst. They treat anyone who discovers their incompetence with open hostility.I heard about this place on the radio and I wanted to support my local business since I moved to Springfield for school. These people know the bare-minimum about computer repair. Ill give you the bare bones of my story:-A single hour of research narrowed it down to 3 different possible causes for my problem and solutions.-I take my computer and they offer to check it out for free. I tell them what I found.-4 Days later they still arent done checking it out.-Finally they want to try reinstalling my Operating system, which I lost the CD for or Id do it myself.-Says it will cost $145 for an OS and another $150 or something to backup content and install the new OS. (Windows 7 runs about $100 to $120)-They say it will take FOUR DAYS to do this. I built my computer. Depending on how good a computer is, it can take 2 to 6 hours to install an operating system. Its the simplest thing you can do, just start it and walk away.-They dispute this with me over the phone. I demand my computer back-When I arrive the owner is aggressive with me and gets in my face about about being rude to his employees and about how Im wrong about the time required to backup and reinstall an OS.(I admit I am rude to people to try to rip me off)-He was angry, very aggressive, and tried to intimidate me with his size.EpilogueI took it to the computer repair guy I know in Decatur. It turns out I just had too many video games on my computer, many of which were BETAS and thus, unstable. He fixed the problem under an hour and spent another hour running it through tests to make sure it was fixed. Only charged a little over $100. When I described what the other place claimed he laughed and said, That sounds like a bad joke.Since then the computer has actually run HOTTER and I cant run the sames games I used to. HYPERION ACTUALLY MADE MY COMPUTER WORSE.I suggest you take it to Tony at Tampasis Computer Systems in Decatur, IL. Its worth the small drive. Hell fix it right there in front of you.-Posted on my girlfriends google account.

Recently had a computer bug, and didnt know it. Best buy wanted me to essential write them a blank check because they were going to send it off...hyperion looked at it right there and called me the se day to tell me what was wrong amd exactly how much it was to fix! So much better! I also got a year Warren free and all update done by them! I love these guys !

When I took my iPad there to get the screen fixed, they fixed the screen but messed up something else in the device which made it act like it was hacked doing stuff on its own, typing up stuff with me even touching it. I reinstalled the software from the cloud and even made it an all new iPad and it still had the problem and they wouldnt fix it

I have a 1TB Western Digital external HD that is encrypted from the factory. The USB connector fell off the PCB board and I could not establish a connection to my computer to backup the data. After several quotes from professional forensic services, I was looking at spending at least $1,500 on the recovery of my data and upwards of $3,000 because of the encryption. Long story short, I spoke with everyone at the wabash location and they seemed optimistic about re-soldering the usb piece back onto the PCB board. They were competent, professional and courteous throughout the experience. My data was successfully backed up and I saved thousands of $$ by starting with Hyperion. I highly recommend their services!

They lied to me about my dead laptop. They said it is the charging port and itll cost $150 & will take two hours to be done. I waited for TWO DAYS and when I called them, they said Sorry it is the motherboard and it will cost over $300 & will take two months, Oh by the way, the $75 you paid -half of the $150- is non refundable!So basically I paid 75 dollars and got NOTHING!
