Wow! I made an appointment to meet someone to tow my car to the dealer because we had been unable to jump off the battery. Not only was the driver right on time, he fixed the problem without having to tow it. He just said well let me see if I can get it to charge and just like that my car was running! He was friendly and kind and very matter of fact and I could have hugged him. I was so relieved and so happy. On a scale of 1 to 10, Affordable gets a huge 10 and kudos to the driver (whose name I didn’t get).

My car was stolen and Mike Phillips was the tow truck that showed up to the location it was left and did everything he could to get it out. He was able to get it out of the massive mud rut that it was left in.

Our driver, Ryan, is a true pro and went out of his way to make us happy. Dispatch made an error that would have delayed our tow for another 2 hours, but Ryan worked through the problems and got our car home safely. We would highly recommend Affordable Towing to others. Just make sure you talk with the driver about any mechanical issues your vehicle has before they begin work; dont trust that the Dispatch system has accurately relayed that information beforehand.

They were supposed to tow my vehicle from my fiancé’s work place to our dealership mechanic and we went to drop off paperwork and my car simply wasn’t there. They sent us on a wild goose chase to find it. Which thank god we did. I called up there and the guy basically said they can’t do anything but say sorry and talk to the driver. Our car was left unlocked with the keys inside at a random dealership across town. This company needs to be reported to the BBB. the guy on the phone also said that this has happened before and I asked so this is a reoccurring problem? And he said no and changed the subject.

I called at 1:11pm to get a tow from highlandville to Springfield and was told that it would be approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. At 5:00pm I called again cause I had heard nothing from them and I was told oh Im sorry I forgot to send the call in. So had to give all the info again and was told we are very busy. I was finally called at 6:00 pm and was told a driver is picking up your vehicle now. I would have left zero starts if that was a option. Will never use affordable towing again.

Terrible. we called to ask for a quote and then we told them no don’t get the car we have another towing company getting it. without us knowing they went and got the car. mind you, they had to search for my keys because we never told them where we put them for the other company. then since we never wanted them in the first place and had no idea this was going on we never paid so they impounded my car. when the towing company we actually hired went there and the car was missing we filed a stolen car report because my car was missing from the highway. a couple hours later we find out they have it and have impounded it. the next morning they say they won’t make us pay for the impound but still charged $85. they then tell me they will have my car at the shop at 11 am. i was stuck at the shop with no car for 4 hours because they came 4 hours later at 3 pm. we are seriously frustrated. we tried to talk to dennis and multiple other people and we were rudely hung up on. absolutely unprofessional and i would never recommend them to anyone.

The man who changed my tire, Gary Snidler gave me awesome service. He helped me get a new tire and he changed the tire in a matter of seconds. He gave me a ride and the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend affordable towing to anyone who is stuck on the side of the road.

I get it. We parked in the wrong spot and got towed. $150 to get the vehicle back. Could have been worse. Im a reasonable person. But, Im being kind giving 2 stars here.Communication and, most importantly, personal safety are the areas lacking in our experience. At 7:30 am we were told 9:00 am is the earliest pick up. No problem, we can wait. Got an Uber over there. Called on the way, we were told it would be 1 hour before anyone could meet for us to pick up, and that I needed to pay over the phone right then. Great. Just waiting in the cold rain now. Meanwhile the area is less than desirable. Abandoned buildings, and homeless people, who may have been very kind, but who knows. Finally, nearly an hour later, wandering around and notice an open gate. Walk in there to find a guy sitting in a truck, says hes been sitting there 40 minutes. No contact from the company. I suggested he let the other guy, whos super friendly and has been on his way from Republic to help me out, know that Ive retrieved my car. Guy says, hell figure it out. Real nice dude.Wouldnt count on them in an emergency.

Ruben had towed my super low car and it was the best experience I’ve had with getting my car towed. He was super friendly and made sure to use wood blocks to make sure the bumper wouldn’t scrape. Not the first time I’ve my car towed from Affordable but always use them! Highly recommended

I was in a car accident with my son and we required a tow. I wasn’t sure who to call and I said Affordable because we had used them one time before with no issues. Apparently, if the police dispatch a call for the tow Affordable charges you a fee but fails to tell you that. I wish that was this extent of our issues. When our car was being pulled onto the flatbet we heard a loud snap and they got back under the vehicle and hooked it back up. At the time we didn’t think there was an issue we trusted they knew what they were doing and if there was an issue it would have been addressed. We were undecided on a body shop to have our car towed to so we requested it be taken to our house, exactly 5.9 miles away. We were charged $167. For 5.9 miles. We weren’t told about the additional fee for the police dispatching them out until our vehicle was on our property. To add insult to injury when our car was picked up by another tow company they refused to touch it because Affordable had busted my exhaust hanger...the snap we heard. I attempted to contact affordable about the situation and they make it very clear and give you the run around regarding availability of people who can handle the situation. I emailed pictures of the damage and was told I would hear back from the manager. Christie emailed me blaming the accident and the age of my vehicle as the reason for the damage. All of the damage to my vehicle from the accident was isolated to the front passenger fender the damage they caused was on the back end where they hook up the chains to tow my vehicle. She had no clue what she was talking about she stated my vehicle was a 1999 Chevy S-10 and I drive a 2017 Ford Escape. Not even remotely close. Christie was EXTREMELY unprofessional to say the least. I asked to speak with Dennis and she tried to avoid that as well. She would not let me speak and when I addressed that she had a problem letting me talk she yelled at me and hung up on me. I’ve since been informed by numerous reputable resources that unfortunately they’re not surprised with my experience with them and actually surprised it’s not worse. I was told the information will be passed along to the owner. Something tells me that won’t happen. 100% guarantee I will make known how Affordable treats their customers and the quality of service they provide.

Roadside assistance through my insurance set me up with a tow from them tonight. My driver was very professional and got me took care off as quickly as he could in a safe manner. I would definitely use affordable for all my towing needs in the Springfield area!

People are very friendly but IMO far from affordable. $310 to tow my vehicle approximately 3 miles. In their defense they did knock off $50 for 1 day of storage and charged me for only 1 day, but my vehicle was there less than 24 hours. I was also charged $60 for debris pick up, there was one fiberglass piece about 1 foot long, hardly worth $60.

Having to call for a tow truck generally, is a dreaded decision. After numerous tries at getting it started, wed come to this point. We called around for a ballpark cost and Affordable Towing was reasonable, within our budget, and the person on the phone was the nicest person wed talked to. The tow truck operator moved it out of the parking space to prepare it for tow, then offered to just try to jump start it. We told him wed already tried of course, but with his big truck...and it started!! Were cheering like its a Christmas miracle and hes grinning from ear to ear. He didnt have to offer his help, but he did and he lost a tow because of it. Their company has gained a customer just the same. If we ever do need a tow, theyre getting our business and Im recommending them to everyone.

I had ordered this service to tow my car to a local garage. The receptionist had told me it would be about an hour wait until the tow truck would arrive, which was fine seeing as they now had me on their list. I proceded to wait not one not two but THREE hours and still no tow truck in sight. Had to resort to having some stranger tow my car to the garage. If you ever think about using this service, dont its not worth your time to wait for hours for no one to show. I will be telling people as well by word of mouth about how poor the quality was. I had attempted to contact them twice about the location of the service. Once they just completly hung up the other they didnt even answer the phone. Worst tow company ove ever had the displeasure of using.

Best pricing in Springfield, super easy and fast having our car that broke down towed back to our house. The driver was even nice enough to make sure the car went under our carport far enough so we can pull into our driveway with our other vehicle. Great company!

I would not use this company for towing. They returned a car to my neighbors house and damaged my yard. Per Sean says that it was not them when I have witnesses including the owner of the car they towed. 6 days later after numerous calls they come to repair the big truck tire marks in my grass. Very poor repairs to my yard and no apology for what they did

The website was easy to use, but didnt provide an estimated cost, so I called them. The woman who took my call was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman who arrived was terrific!! He managed to get our truck started and was polite, clean, fast and efficient. Their prices are very reasonable and they dont skimp on customer service to do it.

I got into an accident and my car was towed to affordable towing for some body work. I was charged almost 4K to get my car fixed. And they said everything would be fixed and running like new. After 3 and a half week my car was finally finished. I go pay the 4K to get my car, I get in my car and my car won’t start. They said I had a bad battery. I explained to them the car was new so I’m not sure how that could be, they said the accident had nothing to do with the battery (when clearly it did) and if I went and got a new battery he would put it in for 45 dollars. So after paying 4K to get my car completely fixed like it’s brand new I had to go get a battery for 180 and have them put it in for another 45 bucks. Well they took their sweet time getting my battery fixed, didn’t put it in the same day after I paid 4K to have my car working. The weekend came and then went, finally today, Monday February 22nd, it’s been exactly 1 month since they’ve had my car and I finally went and picked it up today. I get in my car, my seat belts in the front seat don’t work at all. Their completely useless! Also my car gas tank was completely on Empty, like it was under empty. Which I never drive that low, I feel like they took my gas out of my car as well. Anything to save them a penny. Costumer service is terrible, I was in the main office for over 5 minutes, looking at 3 workers in the office doing other things before one person helped. All and all, a trash experience and I wouldnt recommend!

I got in a car wreck last week and I asked if they could tow my car to their lot. When I went to their office the next day with my parents, they wanted to charge an extra $100 for street clean up. The employee we were working with had horrible customer service and said the person who picked up my car had to clean the debrief. They did NOT do street clean up. The person who picked my car up threw my bumper through the window, and the police officer kicked the rest of the debrief with his feet. My window was also left open through the night, and when we got there my entire seat was wet and ruined by the rain. I would never recommend anyone to come here. They tried to take advantage of us and make us pay for a service that never took place!

I will always call this company first if I need any kind of roadside assistance. From the people who answer the phone to the drivers who come out to help you just know they are all good people. So reasonably priced it takes the worry and stress of right out of the predicament. Good good people.

Was told 1 hr wait turned into 4 hours but they got it done eventually

They quoted me a 30-40 minute wait on a tow, it took them 2 hours and 40 minutes to show up. We called for an ETA, they said 15 minutes, and an hour later we called again, they hung up us. They left me waiting for almost 3 hours after someone hit my car and I needed to go to the hospital. 0/10 recommend them.

Lady was very rude when I called. Put me on hold in middle of me answering a question. Asked for address of where to be dropped off and because I was broke down on side of road I didnt have it. Driver was great, that dropped car off second time. First time service left much to be desired. How do you loose a car? Two hours and many calls later found car. I was not treated respectful it was not my fault that car was taken to wrong place. Keys locked in car because no drop box at the wrong place. Police called on my car because it was at the wrong place. Courtney in the office was not respectful at all. It was dark she said no lights to read sign but car got to the correct address. Excuse me but several businesses down in front of a door that had the wrong business name on it that showed up in your picture, is that enough light enough to read a sign?I have always used affordable towing in the past. I have always before recieved excellent service untill today. Courtney probably has never seen the parking lot of the business so the explanation that it was dark and late at night(approximately 10 pm) and only available parking spot to put car in, was like she was lying to cover her business.

Well they took my cash and never delivered me my parts and when ive asked about my money I get told to call back and tgen the owner tells me that he won t refund me what he has stolen from me and won t even make it right with other parts

Got a flat on 65 today. Spare was flat also. Affordable sent out a very friendly and professional driver. Was able to fill up the spare and help me change the tire. The time estimate for arrival was right on. The repair was quick and easy. Glad these guys were so good. Will happily recommend in the future!

I would seriously not recommend Affordable Towing they told my 98 Chevy Silverado to my apartment and the driver ripped off my front bumper and I contacted affordable in-person which was Dennis Cleveland the owner and he threatened me that if I show up back on his yard he was going to have me arrested by the sheriff his driver done $2,800 worth of damage to my truck then I had to take out of my own pocket they do not stand by their word at all and making threats like that to a customer a paying customer never ever again I would use both Towing

We have roadside assistance with our vehicle insurance. They sent this tow company to get our stranded vehicle home. The tow truck was there exceptionally fast. The good ends there. He was very cold and rude refusing to interact much at all. Which I put off as part of the virus. Speed ahead to him reaching our house except he went past us. He calls me telling me my house doesn’t exist and I told him it does that I saw him he had simply passed us. He then shouts that I was a waste of his time and he was losing money. I know we all have bad days but this was just so very rude. I had just BARELY made it to the side of the road when my vehicle died going 60mph on the highway. Please show some kindness!

They allow the staff to use the vehicles, to illegally tow peoples car. As in a father who isnt done abusing his daughter, and went to go steal her car. So this company is not worth it.

Ive dealt with multiple tow truck drivers and never once has one treated me as good as Mike. He made jokes with me to get my mind off the fact I wrecked my car, he made sure I was okay, he looked at my car and told me roughly what happened and why it could’ve happened. He got there within 30 minutes of reaching out to me, I’ve never waited less than an hour and a half for a driver before the other night. Where we were going to put my car he needs there was legal problems with those spots and gave me an idea of what to do with it. Very professional.

There are Towing companies that have 4.9 out of 5 Stars. Even if you feel stranded and they claim to be there quick, they left my Fiancé in a left turn lane for 2.5 hours, because they sent a standard tow truck instead of the rollback we requested for the trailer she was pulling. The wait was not worth it. The damage they caused was not worth it. The first truck was sent so we wouldnt call a Reputable company that would have done the job right. Check Case-net for Dennis Cleveland the owner, you will see how many times he has been to small claims court where customers have to sue him to recover damages. You will also see where he has a habit of selling cars before verifying ownership. Check their Facebook page, you will see where they ran over a ladies fence and have not taken responsibility for the damages. Do yourself a HUGE Favor, look at these reviews and check other companys reviews. Any positive reviews for affordable towing are the result of drivers receiving $20 for their name being dropped in a favorable review. You can imagine how many of the 5 star reviews were left by friends and family.
