I had an appointment at 10am this past Friday for an oil change and to have my rain guard reinstall on my front driver side. My rain guard (previously installed by Springfield Ford) fell off as I was driving on West Chester Pike. Anyway, Steve did a great job of checking me in and recommended the 15,000 miles service. I respectfully declined. First and foremost, it took them over 2 hours to complete the services. I understand, you have to heat up the old residue in order to remove it and wait for it in to dry in order to reinstall the rain guard. I had no problem waiting at all. But the result of the installation was sub par. I don’t know if the technician was having a bad day or he just didn’t feel like working that day, but he totally didn’t pay attention. If corporate or manage want to email me for pictures, please feel free to do so. Granted, they didn’t charge me for the installation, I would have been even more upset if I paid. It was a rainy day so I didn’t feel like going back inside and bringing the issue to Steve.The pictures below show the driver side vs. the passenger side rain guard.

I am pleased with the service and inspection. However I feel that taking Lincoln out of this dealership was so wrong. I feel the salesman Tom Devito was excellent and knowledgeable. So if we want another Lincoln in the future we can’t work with Mr Devito. Doesn’t seem fair and I feel we are taking money out of his pocket.

I was very pleased by the time the 60,000 mile service that was performed. The car was done sooner than promised. Matt Anderson my sales consultant was very thorough and said job wold take about 3 hours , it actually took about a little over 2 &1/2 hours plus I got an oil and filter change and I needed front and rear wiper blades. Worst service ever. Took my car in on the 3rd. Told I needed wiring. $500+ later wires replaced. Told I had an issue with timing chain. OMG. Told my repair person I was going on vacation. He says no problem. Pick up car Saturday, bring back after vacation. I specifically asked if car was safe to drive to Ocean City MD. Told me of course. Saturday go to pick up my car (Expedition) its smoking from under the hood . Which it was not doing when I dropped it off. And the mechanic informed me car was not safe to drive at all. Now they have had the car for 4 days. Wiring, timing chain. Now they tell me I have a bad gasket. How can you take an engine apart to see timing chain. But not notice a leaking gasket, that is causing profuse smoking. My car is still there. But I have decided to take it elsewhere to be fixed. I do not trust SPRINGFIELD FORD at all. Oh and called corporate. Absolutely useless. The corporate level either cannot or will not help in anyway. I love my Expedition, had planned to buy a new one. Forget about it. I will be looking into a Tahoe or Suburban or something. Definitely not a FORD. A company is only as good as how they treat the customer. And they treated me horribly.

For starters, I wish this car dealer would refer to itself as Springfield Ford LINCOLN instead of Springfield Ford. It seems they can’t be bothered to update anything “Lincoln” in this place. Customer service has deteriorated immensely since 2015 when I purchased my vehicle. I felt I was genuinely treated as a luxury car owner.I thought I had to deal with the Lincoln service representative but Anthony did not respond to my messages. Fortunately, I was handed off to Donovan McLean who proved to be an excellent adviser. If it weren’t the only Lincoln dealership near me, I would surely go elsewhere.

Again for the 3rd time they did not reset my oil change percentage or put a sticker of next oil change due, sounds petty but how am I suppose to know my next oil change? And also you use to get a report of all the items they check during the works service, they use to top off all fluids and give you recommendations.....nothing now. Less attention to detailed service and more money.

I had the usual annual inspection and a few other things done. The service manager who handled my car was very polite, friendly and helpful. Also, everything was finished when he said it would be and with a reasonable price, so Im happy with the service.

My 2013 F150 was affected by the transmission recall requiring parts and service. Springfield Ford got me right in to diagnose and order parts and has kept me updated twice a week so far on parts status. So far so good. Also Ralph in service is phenomenal to deal with.

I was able to bring my car in first thing in the morning at 7a. I was greeted at the door by Anthony who was very friendly and walked me through my process. I was then given an opportunity to get a nice and safe ride back home. I was then called when my auto was done and given a nice safe ride back to the building. My detail was perfect! I had almost forgotten how nice my car looked underneath of all the dirt and grime. They did an amazing job. Everyone who served me were friendly and I would use this facility again for any of my Ford services for the future.

My Appointment was Friday at 10:15 AM. When I called at 2:30 PM, I was told, my vehicle had not been brought into the sop yet. I was informed that the appointment was with the service writer only; they will get to my vehicle sometime before the close of business thats the way we do business here. My business closes at 4:30 PM. I wouldve had to pay two employees overtime on Friday night to pick up my company van from a 10:15 AM appointment. The way Springfield Ford service department does business is unacceptable and I will take my business elsewhere.

The staff was courteous and professional but could not find the cause of my concern. There seems to be something causing a metallic jingling when the car goes over certain divets and such in the road but it would not make the noise when the mechanics drove it. Unfortunately it is intermittent and they couldnt determine what was wrong but when I was driving home it did it at least ten times and its frustrating. I wish I had pushed to drive with the mechanic cause I know I could have gotten it to make the noise. I just hope it doesnt become more serious. I do appreciate the time the staff took and understand their concerns too.

I made appt for inspection and other maintenance service. When I arrived the power was out and had to come back on a Saturday.I came back, waited for my service to be done and I knew the receipt wasn’t enough for all I had done. No inspection on receipt. They pulled the car back into the garage and found that the inspection was completed but two invoices were generated. Straightened that out, paid my bill and left. The receipt showed my old blue Edge not the newer brown Edge. Two months later Ralph called to say I hadn’t paid for the service on a black Edge. I explained about the two invoices and the more patronizing he became the more annoyed I got with his condescending attitude and told him this was his problem and I had indeed paid for my service. I did call back and gave the invoice number. Still waiting for an apology call.

Service was OK good detail for a diagnostics just need better customer service skills myself and two other customers waiting on service acknowledgments with five openl Service windows in a room full of people me and the other three felt as though we were invisible for almost 10 minutes of waiting or someone to just acknowledge we were even in the room normally they would do a courtesy cleaning of your vehicle with service mats on floor on this visit none of that was done or acknowledged at all!I’ve been in the service field for years myself doing one on one with clients and customers it’s just certain things you do and other things you don’t do!All companies needs customers and clientele to return and refer their company or services to others at the end of the day!

Recall campaignService desk was very professional Repairs where done in short time, since I was waiting for the car.I did not particularly appreciated having the car parked in a large, deep, soapy puddle!!! The car could have been parked 3-4 feet forward or backwards without any problem given the fact that I was waiting for the repairs to be complete.!

Was totally dissatisfied with the amount of time it took to perform state inspection and oil change(two days) when I called to inquire about the status of my vehicle and why it was taking so long all I got was voicemail and no one returned my calls.I made an appointment and dropped my truck off the day before and they still took two days perform routine maintenance.Workmanship was fine,service sucked

SFL contacted me about a safety inspection that needed to be done and asked if I could bring the vehicle in for inspection stating that it would be a 20 minute process. They were good for their word and everything was ok with my vehicle.👍😁

Dropped vehicle off for an inspection to be done the next day. They were able to do it within 2 hours if dropping it off, and got the car back same day dropped it off. I know that can happen occasionally, but this time, it was very beneficial for me. Good service as always.

Fantastic experience with Springfield Ford. I had 3 open recalls on my vehicle. I was able to call and have it repaired within a week at no cost. Steve in service was very helpful and honest in answering some questions I had about my car. Charles was very helpful in service, he called the parts supplier for me during their hours since I was not able to during my work day. Mariann at the desk was also very helpful and friendly in getting my paperwork done. Would definitely come back again

Im very disappointed in our recent service done there, rather the lack of customer service from the employees. Prior, we never had a bad experience but this one just left such a bad taste in my mouth that Ill never go back here.Last week, my wife had her car in for an oil change, one of those packages. This weekend as we are driving on I-95 doing roughly 60mph, the bottom cover of the car drops down and it is LOUD and dragging! At the time, we had no clue what it was. All I knew is that I had to get over 4 lanes quickly to get to safety (wide enough shoulder to pull over on) while I had my wife and toddler in the car. We call Ford Service Center and they tell us to bring it in before they close so we do. I understand its policy but it was just added frustration at this point that I had to wake up my daughter to wait outside in the heat for 10+ minutes. We were also going to now be over an hour late for a surprise party - bad timing. So the guy brings the car out and is ready to just walk back in until I ask what happened? How did that bottom cover drop out of no where? His response was someone must have just forgotten to put some screws back in but it shouldnt happen again, youre good to go. Im sorry but thats not acceptable. That could have ended much differently for us. Someone needs to be held accountable.I spoke with 3 people, not 1 person apologized, offered a credit, offered anything! If anything, they seemed more annoyed that I brought this problem to them since it was close to closing time. In my opinion, thats unacceptable. To have that happen to us on the highway was scary and beyond an inconvenience. Things happen, I get it. Own it, though. Dont back up with poor customer service and a lack of ownership. Had it been a family member of an employee, Im sure the apologies and compassion would have been flowing.

I find it odd that auto detailing and interior vacuuming is on the list above, yet whenever Ive asked for it, Ive been told it doesnt exist. More time was wanted trying to talk me into getting their credit card - still not a contactless process. Why doesnt fordpass have true contactless payment options? Doesnt Ford know there is a deadly pandemic ravaging the US population?
