Had been searching for different insurance company...got several outrageous quotes from so called low first payment sites. Then I tried Geico again...had them for quite a few years in another state. Geicobeat all of the other quotes by $70 a month! So I came back. Had instant insurance that day.

I wanted to pay less for my car insurance but the insurance agent I spoke with just seemed like he did not know what he was talking about and could not meet my terms. Also he just did not seem to care to help me out, so I pretty much just wasted my time with him. If you guys do not want a bad experience with an insurance agent from Geico, do not speak with some guy name Domonic.

I am an international student, not that fluent in English, but it was no problem. He explained me a kindly until I understood fully. Also, whenever I email him, he is so quick to reply. This was a terrible place it was infested with cockroaches it also cost a fortune none of the workers were professional and they had no clue what they were doing and when I called they left me on hold for 3hrs!!!!!!!! I recommend no going to this Geico agency

We had a vehicle catch fire and burn. It was a total loss. In going through the claims process, dealing with customer service and adjusters it was hard. No one told us anything- we had no idea what was going on. We would call and get told different things by different adjusters- apparently with a fire you have 2 adjusters on 1 claim- no one told us this. We didnt know the process. No one explained it to us instead my husband and I felt that we were working for Geico. We did all the leg work- reports, documents, everything we tracked down and uploaded as they requested. Okay whatever to help move things along. But then they wouldnt even access their own database to see the info we provided. Instead requesting we send it again. Sometimes the adjusters were out right rude. We asked to have the burned car removed from the policy as it burned on the 18th and the new policy started on 21st. But they wouldnt remove it. Apparently your insurance covers the rental car- you pay the insurance on it not them. Also, the CS rep said we would be getting back less than we paid because we no longer got a multicar discount so we would owe more. Everytime we spoke to someone we were told incorrect information or nothing at all. Having a car burn up while your driving it is a difficult experience but to then have the folks youve paid year in and year out not guide you, help you and give you basic courtesy when you have questions, concerns or simply need to know where your money is ( because we still have to have a car and need money to buy it) adds hurt and unnecessary stress. Would not recommend.

In my search to find the best insurance quote, I decided to contact GEICO to see if I could save more on insurance than my current provider American Family. Daryan Waldo was my GEICO agent and from the start she had this upbeat positive energy, she was patient to learn about my needs and explain the coverages to me. The rates and coverage were much better than American Family. I had a local company quote me a rate and it was significantly better than GEICO. I contacted Daryan and explained the coverage. She gave me some advice and supported me because the insurance rate was much better. Although I saved more money, if I did not care about the savings, I would have chose GEICO just because of the high level of customer satisfaction care Daryan gave to me. I have worked with a lot of sales teams and either GEICO trained Daryan well or she is just a natural and if that is the case, she should be training GEICO sales team.

Update: shortly after posting this review, I finally recieved that call back. To sum it up: I have to fix someone elses mistake. He said he understood and that things had been frustrating but just kept telling me to fix someone elses mistake. No offers from geico to make it right, no prior explenations of the issue. No contact about what the issue was until my review. Just telling me I needed to do more because somebody else made another mistake and taking more time and effort from myself and my family. Not fixing their own mistakes.Ive been going in circles with these guys on homeowners insurance. I kept get cancelation notices for errors mostly on their end and with the homeowners company they work with. Lack of communication and following through. Just tough to work with. I called a couple days ago, was told my guy was on lunch but he would call me when he got back. Going on day 3 no call back after another cancelation notice. Tried to save a couple bucks but in the end its been more trouble than their worth for homeowners.

Jason helped me out today and it was a very quick and easy process.

I have been looking into switching insurance for 3+ months but kept getting no where with various companies that would get my information then not give me a straight quote or policy. She was friendly, direct, and went above and beyond to make all the information very clear. Would highly suggest to others getting their own policy for the first time!

There is a reason why Geico is cheap. You get what you pay for. Geico is the worst at taking care of its customers and I would never recommend them to anyone. EVER. Done with Geico.

The customer service agent was quite helpful, and i have used them before- but the local agent in Springfield was not at ALL helpful- he became belligerent on the phone and when i hung up- he had the audacity to call me back moments later. His first words were, Let me explain something to you-- that is as far as he got before i hung the phone up again. If you call them, make certain you utilize the call center ìf you live in Springfield- otherwise you may get yelled at unnecessarily

Geico insurance company has really stepped up as a company during these tough times. I am a policyholder and they are giving all new and current holders a 15% discount on their policies when they sign up or renew their insurance. I am not advertising for them, I just know I have not seen many or ANY other companies offer much of a discount or any real assistance to people (much like my student loan holder who offers to hold student loans for 60 days, but still charging you full interest and extends the loan period so you still owe more when you get done with the forbearance, but offers no discount, break or real help. You might as well just keep paying it if you can). Geico is an awesome company for insurance. Thank you Geico! Way to step up!

When I called Geico here in Springfield Missouri, a young man named Erin Leitch politely answered the phone, and right away I could tell he was happy to be talking to me, he didnt try and push anything on me that I didnt want. He listened to my needs and wants attentively, then confidently suggested the most practical plan for my new car. He even went on to tell me I had a couple of things on my record that would go away within three or four months, and if I wanted to check back then it would be much much cheaper because those points on my record would be erased after the three-year mark, because I told him what kind of price range I was looking to be in, and all of the competitors were nowhere near that. Erin made me feel very optimistic about the next three or four months when I would not only purchase a car, but have a much lower rate for the type of insurance that suited me best. I definitely recommend Erin Leitch to anybody looking to save money and get a great insurance policy on anything Geico covers! Thank you Erin!!!
