The people are really ,super nice !!

Oxiem did a fantastic website for our district (Dayton Public Schools), which has won multiple awards. Customer support is on the ball, and our account manager is terrific. This is a company thats growing by leaps and bounds, and is worth checking out. I believe there is definitely room for improvement in the area of training, particularly with more complicated sites; our initial training manual was too complicated for most users. Oxiem has been terrific in developing applications to go with our site (such as video and photo galleries) when we were not permitted to use third-party software. However, I would recommend using those third-party apps (such as Flickr and YouTube) if possible, as they are created specifically to work on other websites and arent as clunky. Overall, though, Im still truly happy we are working with Oxiem.

At 7am ET on July 31, 2013, Oxiems company site and their client sites all went down. I am writing this review over 24 hours later and none of their sites have been restored. There is not even a placeholder page to say that they are having technical difficulties. Fellow reviewer Melissa Fowler at the Dayton Public Schools has also been affected by this outage. A competent hosting provider could get a backup server running and update a DNS record in an hour or two. There is no excuse to have all these clients down for more than a day.Web customers need to recognize the difference between a marketing/SEO company and a hosting company. Oxiem only designs sites. You would be better off to choose a more responsible web hosting provider. And seek to maintain ownership of your own intellectual property. Be wary of locking your content into a vendor like Oxiem. All of this nonsense could have been prevented.

We have used Oxiems SEO services for over two years and have seen huge increases in traffic to our web site. They have been great in helping us understand the process and how to incrase visitors to our site. When we had questions about our service, they were very responsive. Long term, they have worked with us to improve communication, going so far as to customize a report for us.
