Kyle did a great job of keeping me informed on the issues with my car.. fast and professional service! I feel they are honest and don’t take advantage of unknowing customers.

Service was a lil slow but I understand cause dealing with cars you run into unexpected issues which is what happened to me but overall good service. I will be returning.

We took our sons car in for an oil change. After a couple of weeks, we noticed an accumulation of oil on the ground where he normally parks at night. We took a look under the truck and could clearly see oil dripping from the pan. We took the truck back in to Midas where they told us it was simply extra oil that spilled over from the change. As you can see from the pictures, the truck is still leaking one month later. I would avoid this location at all costs.

I had issues with my alternator. I live 45 minutes away but work in Solon. I was afraid I wouldnt make it home. Jesse was who I dealt with the most. They were able to get my car in and out in 4 hours. As a female, dealing with mechanics can definitely be difficult, but they were Amazing to me. I definitely recommend this shop! Took my brothers car for an oil change yesterday @5 because he couldnt make it. Went to workout while his car was worked on. Not knowing that it closed at 6, I walked back at 6:30 to find the car/place locked. Luckily the manager was still in the parking lot and let me in to get the keys. I was told to come back the next day to pay because the systems were shut down. I returned home for my brother to find his Apple Airpods were stolen, as well as an electric hand drill. Both were most definitely in there before the appointment. Been going here for years and this has never happened! Well see where this goes this afternoon..

Amazing shop with incredibly helpful people. My car broke down in the middle of the freeway and I was towed to this Midas (Im not from the area). The car is totally dead and Ive been dealing with an extended warranty company who is being really difficult. Kyle and Jesse (the assistant manager and manager) have been working overtime to help me, patiently explaining the process and fighting on my behalf. Im really grateful to them for their help and I cant recommend this shop enough!

When I called to inquire about an oil change cost and if the could fit me in they said yes. When I got there I ended up waiting almost an hour bit the oil change was worth it. Because they believe in good service they comped my oil change since i had to wait so long.

Today was my first time going to Midas, my brother recommended this place. It was a great experience, I was there for oil change and was waiting for my car to get finished, person came to me and did not charge anything because it took little longer than usual. I was surprised, I wasn’t mad or upset and was ready to pay but they took the responsibility and didn’t charge me anything.I think it’s a great way to treat customers. The best auto mechanic service in NE Ohio, by far!! I go here frequently to have these guys service my motor vehicle. I do have some relationships with these mechanics, as personable as they are. I walked in early on Saturday for a break check when they found that the rear disc and path need replacement immediately so they gave me a better price than others and performed the job in a good time. Im very satisfied with the service and price.Midas Solon Auto repair shop is for sure the best place to bring your car. Theyre professional and offer you with the best services and prices. That is my car repair place now on, I been there several time after my first visit and they have been consistent with a great service and even better. Last week I got a flat tire at work. I had purchased my tires at Stow Midas and received great service. So the first thing I did was look up Midas in Solon. I spoke to Kyle at the store and he allowed me to have my car towed to the Solon Midas shop. Within an hours time I was able to have the car towed to Midas, Midas repaired the tire, and Kyle called me with an update. They were very accommodating to the fact that I couldnt leave work, allowed me to pick up my car after hours, and pay over the phone. I will continue to take my car to the Midas shops, they are efficient, quicker than the dealership, and more reasonably priced.

I have been going to this Midas for years. They are always easy to work with and very helpful. Will tell you exactly what your vehicle needs and offer competitive pricing. They don’t try to push repairs, etc that you don’t actually need just to make more $ off you.

The service is prompt and courteous even when I am late I am given great service I trust them which is a big deal for me because I have had anxiety about where to take my truck for work it always seems like I have to worry about whether or not I’m getting a fair price The places by me I go are always like blah blah blah you have the big 5.7 L engine so your oils gonna cost more or you got bigger tires and 20 inch rims so you are going to have to pay more for breaks or blah blah blah it always goes on at places by me local I don’t feel like that at the Midas in Solon that’s why I drive over a half hour to get there they’re always very friendly to me and they’re good at their work I would always recommend this to friends and family and I would never think about going anywhere else anymore finding a place like this I can trust that I’m getting a fair price and good service is Rare ,Jessie is great all the technicians are.

Provided great service! We arrived slightly late but they still took care of everything in a quick and timely manner. All the employees were very friendly and nice to talk to while we waited for our cars to be checked. Its not always easy to find a reliable car mechanic, and there was an instance a couple years ago that my car was improperly checked before a long trip which nearly caused an accident. After that I was very distrustful towards any car mechanic that wasnt the manufacture. (Which was disappointing because its a very far drive from my home) Which is why Im glad I found Midas, they are trustworthy, efficient, and close--- now I dont have to make the far drive to my manufacture out of worry anymore. Excellent service and very nice employees. I made an appointment on my lunch break to have them change 5 bulbs. They had it completed in about 10 minutes and didnt even charge me.

I wanted to share a positive personal experience we had with the Midas in Solon Ohio. We had been there a couple of times to fix our Honda Civic in the last 6-9 months. The first time my muffler went out and they were able to get me in and help the very day after it happened. Several months later, as I started up my car and began to drive, my car was making funny noises. I didnt even call, I just drove it straight to Midas. No appointment, but they were very understanding and willing to take a look at it while I left and went to work for the day. Again, they were able to fix it by the next day (there was a leak in the power steering). Both fixes were minimal, painless, and very reasonably priced. They were quick, kind, and knowledgeable.As if this wasnt enough to make me want to come back...fast forward to just a couple of weeks ago. On my way to work my car (a manual) suddenly would not go into gear as I tried to change gears. I coasted into a parking lot, called roadside assistance, and again made a call to Midas explaining my situation. My biggest fear was confirmed just under an hour after the car was towed to Midas...the clutch had given up and would need to be replaced. This was a 2007 Honda Civic with the original clutch (yes...Hondas are wonderful and the original clutch lasted 13 years!). Because the cost was going to be about what the car was worth we needed some time to think about our options. We had been debating getting a new car for some time so that thought came into play. Midas didnt have to be kind and give us time to think. They could have said, not our problem, have your car towed somewhere else, we dont want it here. Instead, Kyle at Midas WAS kind and did give us the time we needed to make the best decision for us. I kept in contact every day to let him know what we were thinking our plans would be and each time he said, its okay, just let us know what you end up deciding. In the end we did end up getting a new vehicle and sold the Civic to a company that would come and tow it away. When we went to clean it out and spoke to Kyle once more his exact words were this, we are in the business, not just to make money, but to make sure that each customer is doing the best and right thing for them at the time. We support you as our customer and if this was the best thing for you then we are happy we were able to help in making that decision a little bit easier with not having to worry about what to do with the Civic in the mean time.Bottom line: Kyle and the team in Solon Ohio truly care about their customers. And as much as we dont necessarily want to see them often because that means theres something wrong with one of our vehicles, you can guarantee that if something does happen, Midas in Solon will be our very first call/visit to figure out whats going on. They quoted me labor and an alignment on the phone, but failed to complete the alignment. Now my tires are ruined and refused to make it right. Store manager Jesse can’t be trusted.

Was my go to for typical maintenance and repairs. In last year or so prices have been unjustifiably and unreasonably high. I left and completed repairs myself. I previously sent daughter there for minor maintenance, they were fair and reasonable. Not any more, something and someone changed.

I got new tires and they gave me my car back with low tire pressure so now I have to go out of my way to fill them up somewhere myself. Im curious to find out how low the pressure is.

So my family and I have been coming to Midas in Solon, Oh for 10+ years now. They have always treated my family with the up most respect and have always done an amazing job on all of our cars we have brought in here. People always ask where to get their cars worked on and I always recommend Midas in Solon. They people that work there are very friendly and work very fast and hard on our cars and get us our cars back in a timely manner. Only way I would stop coming to get my car worked on here is if the place closed down and I doubt that would happen. I am happy to say Midas in Solon is a great car repair shop.

Just left this location, Never go there again ! They completely lied about everything . They did not drive my car not once the entire time that I left it there (6 hours ) and I understand if they were busy and couldn’t get to it and they could’ve just said that versus lieing and saying they drove it twice.But it wasn’t the first time they were wrong I went a few weeks ago about my headlights and they insisted that I needed a whole new headlight but I went to auto zone for something else and they offered to change out just the light bulb and once they did my light where back on .Save me a couple hundred dollars , I’m done with Midas sticking with CONRADS!

Id caught a flat is what I thought, but after checking the initial tire I had wire hanging from my tire with bad alignment causing the tires to blow. I took my car to Midas in solon and Kyle provided great service even getting me access to finance which was super since I didnt have$500.00 at the time to pay for service. Just came back from Midas and decided to write a review. Windshield fluid didnt spray on the glass, so I made an appointment. When I came, I was welcomed, and my car was pulled in within 2 minutes. Mechanics told me that the rubber pipe that carries the fluid, has melted and that caused the problem. In 10 minutes my car was fixed and I was told there wont be any charge for the work. Indeed, they dont charge for the small things. And if a serious repair needed, I know that the job will be done right. Thank you, Midas guys. I really appreciate your hard work.

Total waste of timeBrought my car there because it was had a leaky exhaust. They look at it and said bring it back tomorrow at 1 and they could weld it. I brought it back at 1. At 1:30 they said they had no idea how long it would take. I complained and at 2pm they put it on a lift. They then said it needed new parts and could not be welded. They said it will be very expensive. They couldnt give me a price.What kind of business is this? Very unprofessional and seemed like they just wanted to get rid of me. Will never go back.

Midas in Solon is a great place. Really knowledgeable people, experts in car repairs. I completely trust them. If something goes wrong up to 1 year after repair work was done, they will fix it for free. They take care of my family cars for the last 10 years, and I was never disappointed.

Have been their customers for years and was happy with their service. But recently two incidents made me think twice whether I can still trust their service. One is my Toyota Sienna oil change, I found the engine oil was over filled and color was still dirty. The day I went the shop was under staffed. I even offered them that I can come back another day. I went back 3 days later spoke the manager, so he did oil changed again. Now yesterday I decided to change my 2010 Pontiac Vibes oil myself, which got its oil changed in Midas Solon in the past few years. Here is the problem I found, the shop did not put the crush washer on the oil drain plug and over tight the oil drain plug to prevent the oil dripping. And they over tight the canister oil filter cover so much that I can not even remove it. Now the car has new oil with used oil filter.As the techs were trained and certified, they should follow the right procedures to do the things right. How can them not to replaced the crush washer and not follow the manufactures torque spec is unbelievable.

Most excellent experience! I had work done on my 2005 Subaru Legacy Sedan and they had the work done quickly and at a very reasonable price. I felt like a valued customer, not a mark, which I cant say for some other establishments in Solon. They did what I asked without heinous up-sells or ridiculous products. Great Folks. From the time I called for an appointment until the moment I walked out the door, everyone I came into contact with was friendly, knowledgable and efficient. Midas was recommended by a friend and I definitely will tell others to come here for service. The waiting area was perfectly clean and organized too, which is always a bonus when you choose to wait.

They did a great job on the oil change/ tire rotation (fast, no issues, reasonable cost) and the lady working the front desk explained everything they did to the car and was just lovely. Great experience!

Just ahead of this first winter storm 2019 Jesse & Kyle saved the day! My brakes locked up, I was scared out of my mind! I was met with assurance and exceptional service. Great service and honest people. I was a customer of Jesses (the manager) when he was at Mr. Tire in Solon. I was always pleased with the service that I got from him so when he moved to Midas, so did I. I have been to Midas multiple times now and they have been fair, honest, friendly and fast. The most recent time they even gave me a ride back to work so I didnt have to wait while my car was being worked on.

I come every month to make sure my car is up and running without any problems and the people here are great! Theyre kind, friendly and do not try to rip me off, which I appreciate. I definitely recommend coming here to all friends and family.

The service at this Midas is excellent. My car overheated and I limped it into Midas. Jesse was very helpful and friendly. He got my car right in to be looked at and they were able to repair it quickly. While I waited I watched the staff take care of multiple customers, most of which they knew by name. Very reasonable and professional service, store manager Jason is very courteous and polite. Mechanics know exactly what they are doing. I have done all my car repairs in Midas for last 6 years, never had any problems. They tied to certain parts companies, so parts sometime may cost more than on open market, but if a part fails within warranty you do not pay for labor again to replace it. Overall is very positive experience.

Have used Solon Midas for a few years, great service and friendly staff. They have fixed things on our van that other shops in the area could not, even after several attempts. They can price match parts, you just have to find them and ask. The manager Jason has been very helpful in going over any issues and options available.

I was looking for wiper blades and this was one of the only places that even had the sizes I needed in stock. I pulled in and they got right to work by the time they brought my receipt back to me they had the new ones on and filled up the fluids for me.I know this is not a major service by any means but the quality of service and speed was enough for me to go back for other services that they offer.I will up date this review after a few more visits (2.15.15)
