I had been an Equity Green customer for about 2 years. Initially had no issues with their fertilizing and weed spraying service. Approx 5 weeks ago, when they sprayed my lawn for weeds, some of the spray landed on the very bottom of my two spruce trees and killed large areas of needles.On 06/16/21, I texted James photos of the damage and requested he call me to discuss this….crickets.On 06/18/21, I emailed him the photos and again requested telephone contact. He never called. He physically replied to my email, but completely ignored my issue. Instead he discussed my lawn and what he could do to improve it. Over the next several emails he dodged the issue by suggesting expensive upgrades and services to my lawn. James eventually acknowledged the fact my trees were damaged, but never accepted responsibility for it. He then offered to service my trees in an attempt to make them healthier, but (even after specific questions) would not say at who’s expense these services would be.I tried to cut and paste the entire email chain between James and I, but Google limits how large their reviews can be. This is unfortunate because the email chain is almost comical due to the complete disregard for my concerns as a paying customer. I understand you are busy running around getting things done, so I figured giving you the opportunity to call me when it was convenient for you would be appreciated by you. In the end, James stopped replying to me, never called me, and never accepted responsibly for the damages. I see James tends to reply to Google reviews. I suggest he instead uses that time to call his paying customers and actually correct his company’s mistakes.*

We are selling our home and needed some quick lawn attention. Called Equity Green and explained the situation. We had our lawn mowed and trimmed the next day. Awesome! Thank you!!

Some of the worst customer service Ive ever dealt with. I inquired about some crabgrass concerns months ago. I provided pictures of the problem areas twice at their request. I was repeatedly told someone would be out to treat. My lawn still has crabgrass and has not been treated. No one has apologized or shown any accountability. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Go somewhere where customer service and responsiveness is a priority.

Save your money. Sleazy car salesmen disguised as lawn care technicians. They’re no experts. Go somewhere else. Don’t walk, run!!!In response to their response : It was definitely Equity Green. The guy that showed up was driving an unmarked car but definitely left equity green information. I felt “educated” enough to run the other direction. Sleazy car salesman. Seriously. Run away.

I would not recommend these guys. It had taken me 7 phone calls to stop coming out and they still keep coming out. We just got a 95.00 bill for services never requested thats on top of the bill we received a little over a month ago. Never again! !!!!

Hired Equity Green this spring to help thicken up our lawn, help with weeds, and assist with keeping our lawn healthy. They have done a wonderful job for us. Our lawn looks great. Equity Green turned a sad looking lawn into a beautiful, lush, healthy lawn. Our original sod turned out to be of poor quality but James was able to slit seed and treat it and what grew over time was amazing. Equity Green continued to care for our lawn until we moved, and now they are providing the lawn care at our new house. James is helpful and knowledgeable and his company has been dependable as well.

Excellent service, owner James is very responsive on the phone and always friendly and professional. They get my yard ready for winter by trimming back the plants, getting rid of the leaves, and mowing the lawn and it looks fabulous!

After several years of spending too much money with a nationally advertised lawn service we had enough of their poor performance, strong arm tactics, and downright badgering, we said, Enough!We called Equity Green. They looked at the lawn, listened to our complaints and suggested a course of action. They came and did all they promised and in 3 weeks we had grass growing where the other company reps told us wed never get grass because we had poor soil.1.5 months later we have a lush green lawn throughout. Finally. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and worth every penny spent!

Grub control application has greatly reduced damage due to lawn insects, and the lawn stays green throughout the August dry spell. I scheduled a spring cleanup, aeration, overseeding, and spraying in April and was told it would be a few weeks before they could get to my me. After 2 weeks, I called asking when I could except them, and they stated due to rain delays it would be another week. Then every few weeks thereafter I called and left messages asking when the work would be done--and none of them have ever been returned. It is now June 26th, and Im pretty confident that the only reason the owner answered was because I didnt call him on my cell phone. He stated it is now too late in the season to seed and it would need to wait until fall. Incredibly disappointed.

I tried about everything to take care of the weeds in my lawn. They were really bad. Clover, oxalis, violet, thistle, creeping jenny, crab grass... I figured it would be an ongoing process to get rid of them. Equity came in and took care of almost all of them on the first pass. Treatment throughout the season took care of the rest.
