Nice cardio work out equipment! I love everything about this place! Get the black card membership and you wont have to have a contract. With my black card I get access to massage chairs, red light therapy, and the hydro massage bed any time I choose. You cant go wrong with Planet Fitness!

Check in process is easy. Great customer service with my drink purchase. Entire gym is very clean. Equipment is in good shape. Showers and locker room is clean and well kept. 5 stars for sure. Semi truck parking available. See you next time, Sioux falls. ✌️👍

When I wanted to start working out I checked out almost every gym in town. And honestly just felt most comfortable here. Make you feel welcome and the hours just worked for me. Plus I can bring a guest everytime. And the amenities alone with the black card membership pay for themselves.

Gym is clean and well maintained. Showers could use some work though. Plenty of equipment.

Quite a few were broken in men changing room. Also Incline bike foot peg was broken too.

I like going to planet fitness. it is comfortable and very clean. I would tell anyone who wants to start working out about it

Great for beginners and my trainer Nancy is knowledgeable, professional and really helped me get started with weight training. You see all ages and ability levels, I feel comfortable being new.

Im loving PF. I havent been in a gym for over a decade and couldnt be happier with my experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love the trainer Nancy! She has great advice and gives you the motivation you need. I also love that PF is so affordable and always clean! I highly suggest.

Terrific workout experience. Clean facilities, great machines, friendly, helpful, hard working staff. Careful and diligent sanitizing efforts. I can’t say they’re the best because I’ve only visited a couple other gyms in Sioux Falls - but there’s none better for sure!

From the beginning, my experience with Planet Fitness is excellent. From online registration to each visit, their efforts to provide a safe, friendly environment for all, can be seen and felt.

I have been traveling the south over this winter and have gotten a Planet fitness memebership to stay healthy and have access to showers. It has been very convenient for me to go from town to town and use their facilities, some of these towns like Ocean Springs have populations of 17,000 people, and there is 3  PFs in the surrounding area. Which brings me to Sioux falls, why is there only one facility here? And better yet why is there only 3 in the entire state. Even Wyoming has more Planet fitnesses than South Dakota. I have been to towns the size of Sioux Falls (ex: Layfayette, Lake Charles, Shreveport) and they all have multiple PFs in the area. The planet fitness in Sioux Falls is always crowded and it isnt even open 24/7. Why cant we open another in Sioux Falls or maybe in Brandon? Or even start by having the Planet fitness we currently have open 24 hours? Im sad to say that when I am done traveling and am back in Sioux Falls I will be canceling my membership for the reasons stated above.

Just recently returned back to planet fitness after a long break due to the covid 19 pandemic, surprisingly I felt very comfortable as staff went above and beyond with cleanliness and mask regulations. Happy to be back!🙂

Ridiculous hours and ridiculous staff who post a sign at check-in saying when they close, then they shut the music and TV’s down at 15 minutes before close, and then they walk around giving people looks and tell people when they close. I know when you close, and I’m working out until you close because of your ridiculous hours!Also can be extremely busy at peak times with no benches available, and often people will move the benches around, and no one — not even staff — will move them back.It’s either this or pay over $40 somewhere else. God bless Sioux Falls.

Ive been a PF member for about 2 years, and have probably used 30 locations nationwide. So, Ive noticed some things about each location which make them unique. As for Sioux Falls, here are some highlights:1) The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the workout floor. As some of you know, this isnt always the case at other gyms.2) Well-kept. Staff goes on regular rounds to ensure weights are where they should be, equipment is clean, sprays/towels are stocked, etc.3) The staff is great. Ive interacted with most of them and am impressed with the team as a whole. Josh (Manager) is an exceptional young professional, and has a bright future ahead. Always friendly and helpful. He greeted me by name on my 2nd visit, which is remarkable unto itself. Kudos to whomever hired him. As a 20-year Recruiter, I know what talent looks/sounds like.4) The clientele at this location are good about wipe-downs, and are courteous gym members. Ive yet to observe any mirror-flexing weight-droppers intent on showing their fellow gym-goers whos boss. Even at busy times, Ive never had to wait for equipment. There is plenty to go around.5) Large parking lot with plenty of space, and a great location off a main drag. And there are plenty of nearby post-workout refueling spots nearby for a post-workout snack.6) The Black Card upgrade is worth every penny. As someone with chronic back problems, I almost always end my workout on the hydro massage tables. And Im sure Ill probably use the tanning equipment come February, when my body is crying out for Vitamin D.Overall, I give them an A. Otherwise, Id sweat somewhere else.

Planet Fitness cares about all its members. Planet Fitness greets us by name and cares about our efforts. During COVID, they have had to implement challenging restrictions, but have strived to keep our visits fun and functional.At other gyms in my community, there are big egos and machine domination and you just try to avoid these conflicts.At Planet Fitness, it is like family. And we all keep the machines very clean.

Great facility. Plenty of exercise equipment for free weights, cable weights and cardio. Definitely a plus that you dont have to wait for equipment.

Horrible! The bathrooms appear to be clean but are falling apart. Very low water pressure, took 5+ minutes to warm up and then when someone flushes a toilet it’s down to a dribble of water and then lost all water within 2 minutes. The shower heads are falling off the wall and rusted. One tiny cheap hair dryer. The only plus about that visit was the nice man at the front who checked us in. Wish I took pictures. That’s not what I pay for!

Great variety of machines. For black card members they offer massage chairs, hydro massage beds, and tanning beds. Staff is for the most part courteous. Sometimes it is hard to get a staff member up front and sometimes they dont answer their phones during business hours.

Clean, nice staff, its a bigger gym so you arent bumping into people. They offer a lot of free classes and amenities as well. Best price. :) Wont add photos, because I respect peoples privacy.

I haven’t been yet to work out due to COVID, but the environment is very friendly, doesn’t seem judgmental at all, and everyone that works there is very nice and helpful.

Really nice gym with all the amenities. I have been to planet fitness gyms across the country and this one is definitely in the top in terms of cleanliness staff friendliness and equipment selection. The Rowing machines are a big plus for me as a majority dont seem to have these. Also several of each machine so youre rarely waiting for a machine.

Clean, never too busy or over crowded. Clean showers and locker room, the water in the showers are hot and stay hot which is very nice. Friendly front deskers and instructions at most machines so youre not guessing if you want to try something new. Personal note: I can be extremely shy and anxious in public situations alone. I have never felt threatened or bothered here, especially being a female that is a nice benefit. If I were bothered, I would feel comfortable enough to approach the front desk about it & feel confident they would escort me out or assist me however they can. Never needed to do so here. I enjoy going by myself here and not having that anxiety.

I got my black card almost two months ago and i havent really had any issues!!! Most of their staff always greets me when i walk in its always clean. I just wish that were 24 hours on weekends. I come everyday and weekends are sooo hard for me. Im so happy that I signed up!!!

Well I have been there a few times now, and I love the staff Kylie I think her name is answered the phone when I first wanted to get more info and she was very kind, informative, and judge free. She explained in great detail and made me feel like I was welcome even over the phone. I went in three time this far, and each and every staff member that has been there was very kind and informative, I love this place I feel comfortable there and welcome, and that right there makes the whole motivation to keep going so possible.. the Tanning and massage beds are a plus too!

Excellent facility! The tanning beds are comparable, if not better (due to price), than a tanning salon. Massage table and chairs, and enough equipment for everyone! Clean and spacious locker rooms. Bring a friend free everytime! Im not sure why I ever paid to go anywhere else!

So far, so good. The atmosphere is nice as well as everything being well kept. Any of the membership options are affordable and I enjoy the perks of the Black Card Membership. The location also happens to be in a prime location for me.

Regional manager didnt know how to verify my account and HE made me call my gym in Denver to clarify that my account balance was paid and the manager gave me his permission to workout. I paid my membership to workout I dont need anyones permission. Nobody WEARS MASK.

Joined planet fitness last year. Its a great place to workout. The gym equipment is well arranged and the atmosphere is really good. The cost is much less when compared to other places. The staff is friendly and ready to help when needed. They provide one to one guidance as well. The place is top class and would be recommended for anyone who wants to be part of a great gym.

Totally happy with my experience at Planet fitness. A good place for the ordinary person that wants to stay in shape or get to that point. Has lockers (you provide your own lock) and showers. Really like the 30min workout area step up. Lot of tredmills. Very clean. The place does get a lot of use. Very affordable, with a $15 month to month option.

I guess the only thing I dont understand about this gym is why they offer bagels and free pizza every other week or something along those lines. other than that... the staff were really friendly and very helpful its the best place to go to for the value $10 a month you get a lot of bang for your buck.

I joined this gym about 2 years ago and found it to be a pleasant place to work out, even if youre not a fanatic about it. This gym is a well kept up place as far as cleanliness and the machines go. There are many types of machines, some I have no idea how they work, but, if I wanted to know how to use them, there are friendly employees I could ask. There is also massage tables and chairs, tanning beds, lockers, and showers. Once a month they offer free bagels and cream cheese to their guests. The price per month is either $10 or $20. The $20 price you get free use of the tanning beds and massage chairs and beds.

I love it! Stuff is wonderful, sometimes you can see them training;) everything is clean, nice organized yes there are no free weight bars- but you can use barbells instead or work in different machines. Highly recommended

Moved from Sioux falls to rapid and forgot how small this one is compared to Sioux falls planet fitness and also others I been to but its understandable because its in the mall so they didnt have much space to begin with. I love their machines and their locker rooms look clean and new. I love their 30 min course and massage beds. Tanning is a plus as well.

My husband and I recently just signed up for the Black card membership. It just sounds awesome that with it you get access to everything in the gym. You also get a personal trainer. The staff was friendly and very helpful when we signed up. We have plans to work out starting Monday morning. We will continue to keep working out. During our vacation in August, we plan on going to the one in Virginia Beach. We both cant wait to start working out.

I love how the staff greet you every time you come in and when you leave. They keep the place very clean and ready to use. Lots of variety for weight and cardio machines. They definitely need another location because the current location on 41st can be very busy during peak hours (after people get off work). Always a great experience when I go!

If youre looking for an affordable, low stress place to work out, Planet Fitness is a great option. Their status as a national chain make it easy for people who travel. This location has a large variety of machines, and doesnt often feel very busy. The only draw back is that the stretching area is much smaller than at some other locations, and gets crowded fast.

Nice and clean, machine weights arranged nicely. Friendly staff greeted me as I checked in, and directed me to mens locker room. I also like the new design.

They are as advertised: a judgement free zone with great workout equipment. Ive only been there three times do far in the last couple weeks but am planning on stopping by again today after work. Probably the only person to be excited about working out in the history of ever.

I am a black card member and everyone here is always very helpful, I have noticed they dont have a personal trainer most of the time to keep me going which I would like. But, besides that its always clean and everyone there his nice!

Just a decent place to run and work out. No amenities, but cheap. Just remember that if you dont go... dont pay. That count on you to not go. Tanning and message machines are good with upgraded memberships.

Decent selection of equipment. The lady workin the night or early mornin shift could probably have a little better attitude. I’ve been to a lot of planet fitnesses across the country and her personality is that of a styrofoam cup.
