This place is great. I wasnt even looking for a job as I was already working and Greg found me on LinkedIn and sent me a message. As a Army Veteran I was able to work with Greg who is a Veteran as well (and former first sergeant) so he knows how to take care of people. He found me a better paying job working less hours with the ability to grow in my field of work. Greg stayed in constant contact to let me know the progress of my application and answered any questions I had. Im currently on my third day of my new job and things are great. Its a great place to work and I couldnt be happier with my decision to switch companies. It can be extremely difficult to change careers, but working with Speherion gave me a chance to explain why I would be a good fit in a new company, and Elisa translated that to the company I ultimately wanted to work for on a permanent basis. Its a temp job now, but it already looks like I may find a permanent home. If you want to change industries, I recommend giving Elisa a chance to help.

My initial request for information was received very positively and responded to very promptly, and my first appointment was also a positive experience, with extensive conversation about how the whole staff would be working together and meeting daily to try and find the best possible job opportunities to put in front of me for consideration.However, at my first appointment, I was also told that I would be receiving further information via email within a few days. After several days passed without hearing anything, I sent an email to confirm that my contact information was correct and ensure that I hadnt missed anything.At this point, a month has gone by with ZERO contact from Spherion. After contacting them again today, a phone conversation confirmed that absolutely no effort had been made to contact me because The positions we discussed were filled internally and I wasnt sure that you would be interested in the positions that are available. Greg admitted over the phone that he had received the email I sent to confirm my contact information 3 weeks ago and simply chose not to respond, and he also admitted that he should have contacted me when the original job opportunities had been filled, but again, he chose not to.As previously stated, it had been explained to me that I would receive an initial email with further information and that afterwards, I would be the judge of whether or not I was interested in the positions that came available. As it turns out, I wasnt provided with either option, which is especially disappointing considering that I was given every reason to trust the company and that I also filled out paperwork with very personal information that I now wish I had not shared.Greg at Spherion most definitely over-promised and under-delivered. I would not recommend to anyone.

Contacted the office, went in for an interview, gave them my information and then nothing. Silence. I havent heard a thing, good or bad, in over a month. The appeal of staffing services for job seekers is to assist in finding employment, be it temporary or permanent. Thats not what youll find here. They will gladly take down your information so they can have more applicants and, thus, better advertise themselves to businesses. This is a business for business; not for job seekers. You would be better off perusing through career boards than utilizing the services of employment agencies.Avoid.

One week from that time i hit submit to being offered the job thats impressive. The people at spherion are really helpful they great at what the do. I happened to have some bad luck and my assignment was terminated early but luckily for me the spherion consultant help me get started on a new assignment the fallowing week. Spherion are realy professional and they actually give a damn about the people their helping.

I went in and was all excited. I was told what they could possibly get me for a job. I went home and did some tests that they wanted me to do. Two days later they called me up saying they couldn’t work with me anymore. I asked why and they didn’t give me an explanation.

Mikayla might just be the rudest person in the city, and that is saying a lot. For a person from Wilmot, she is very quick to review and dismiss an outstanding resume with great variety of experience and clear commitment to a career path, and she makes Spherion as a temp agency look like a bunch of unprofessional egotistical bozos who just learned how to drive daddys tractor. Avoid this company if you are any sort of a serious person.
