Im conflicted about making such a bad review because after AWHILE waiting to get a face to face Interview the people who work at the Greenville/Simpsonville branch were nice and polite. So as far as the staff goes they are personable people. Im sure like with everything some people have good experiences some are bad. I was lucky enough to get the bad one. I went in for an orientation they had me hired on to a job within the day, they gave me a start date. The details over the job were few and far between (little to no information), also never got to talk with a recruiter over anything because they were all busy, they said I would receive a call back once a recruiter opened up... never heard from Phillips Staffing. I called back but no one ever answered, I left a few messages.. still never heard back. So I just sort of brushed it off and decided that someone at the job would more than likely tell me what to do. So after driving about an hour at around 10:30-11:00 at night I finally get to the job. Not having anyone to meet me at the door I had to catch one of the employees and ask for some help getting to talk with someone in the building. They were helpful and told the manager that I was there as a new hire. So the manager came out looking about as confused as I was.. basically put..... she had no idea why I was there...she hadnt heard anything about me starting... then the manager told me that they werent sure why I would have been told about a job.... because the company wasnt even hiring at this time. So I just decided that calling back Phillips Staffing would be pretty much pointless. Then about 2 days later I get a voicemail from Phillips saying that they wanted to let me know ahead of time that the job decided to terminate my employment... making it seem as if they were letting me know ahead of time. So I called back and after a few try calls later I got ahold of someone told them my issue they said they will let a recruiter know and they will try and find me another job.... so after a few days .. and still no call back... decided that Im pretty much over this Branch. But hey.. maybe someone else will have a better experience than I did. Just go to..... PRIDESTAFF STAFFING AGENCY..... they will actually do their job. Better than any other staffing agency that Ive seen so far.

Best place to work!! Got me a job that I love and I just got hired on making more than I ever have. The process was easy and the people in Phillips staffing was always helpful and friendly. Thank you for everything!!

Awesome staff, very attentive and professional. I was hired within one week of inquiring on a position. Another family member was also hired immediately and still works for Phillips Staffing after over 1 year and is very happy with Evelyn and the entire staff...Keep up the Great Job Phillips..

The staff is nice and all but dont waste your time going here. If your looking for a job I suggest you go somewhere else. Theyll make you take a unnecessary test and if you fail you walk out looking like a complete idiot. So please dont waste your time. Go somewhere else.

Ive had great experiences working with Phillips Staffing, especially the branch in Simpsonville SC. The negative experience stated here is one I cant relate to. Sorry If you got the wrong person over you. May not hurt to try again...I recommend them. In fact Ill be seeing them again soon myself

I gave one star because of my experience at the job site. My wife and I landed a job together out at cpi. At first everything went fine. On our 3rd night my wife got injured due to high temperatures aswell as unrealistic expectations. We decided to return and stick it out together may the 3rd 4th and 5th. I realized on the 5th that both our timecards were missing with our punches for the 3rd and 4th and nobody knew anything about it Ofcorse. When I contacted the greenville/Simpsonville office about it rather than help us they expected me to make it to them on not enough gas just to tell them the dates of concern. I will be talking to a lawyer aswell as the better buisness beuro if this is not resolved. We have gone on to better jobs now. I strongly advise anybody to look elsewhere for employment unless you enjoy working for free and having to fight a system to get due wages. This has just been our experience.

These people are not professional. The recruiters have you to do everything. Then lies about jobs, when the starting, & etc. Then you call to check on things or ask for recruiter. There not there or they will call u back. Just over all terrible service. Nothing like there services in the 90ths.

This must be a joke. I am new to the area and needed to get back into the workforce so I decided to use Phillips Staffing. Huge mistake, I went through Lori Morgan who has little to no communication skills.I literally had to track her down via e-mail and phone, never receiving a call back or any other contact. It wasnt until I left a pressing message that I received a call from her simply stating that she could not help me. Thats it? Unreal. I would recommend using another service and if not, definitely another agent.

At 1st when I came here the recruiter Evelyn was so nice and helpful and si nice. My 1st week working at D&W where they placed me was okay until the machine operator started harrasing me because of a medical issue I was having . You think that the Phillips team Evelyn , Maria or any of them helped solve the problem !! Hell no!!! They made me write a statement and did not do any further action!! DO NOT DO NOT I REPEAT GO TO PHILLIPS STAFFING IN SIMPSONVILLE SC , THEY WILL ALLOW YOU TO GET BULLIED AND NEGLECTED AT THE PLANT THEY PUT YOU AT. ALL THE NICE FAKENESS THAT THE WHOLE STAFFF PUTS ON DO NOT BELIEVE IT AT ALL. AND YOU WANT BELIEVE THIS PART THE FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST WILL ANSWER THE PHONE AND TELL YOU NO ONE IS THERE THAT YOURE LOOKING FOR AND WILL PUT YOU ON HOLD FOR NO REASON!!!! I applied, shared my resume and talked with a recruiter who said she had a placement for me and that she would email me all the details. I never heard anything else, I never got any email and no one is ever available to answer my calls. I dont understand how they stay in business. Maybe thats why all there job listings are in the boonies. Very disappointed.

Im not from here as well everything started off good. I knew I wasnt going to make the money I was use to making but I atleast wanted a job I was happy at ,sure enough they placed me Mrs Anna was taking care of me,I loved the job was there mane three weeks they offered me a promotion really good people at this company ,loved everyone then two days later Anna called and kelp calling me by someone elses name so I went to office thinking maybe they were going to up my pay due to the promotion,nope she kelp asking me about stuff going on at the job that I knew nothing about.pressuring me to say something and I told her over and over Idk what shes talking about I love this job and the people I work with she said there doing a investagation because something I said and I told her please dont be throwing my name around there because they are good to me but she was persistent so I said Im not going back tonight,so now I cant work there because she said no call no show and its not right Idk the owner there but your buisness is only as good as your employees ,why cant you make this right,Im not saying your company sucks but your staff can use a change....

I applied back in March and was told they would have me a job within two weeks. It is now May and I havent heard a thing. When I call I am put on hold and sometimes when Im put on hold they just hang up. If you are seriously looking for work try another service dont waste your time

The first time I went to PS (Phillips Staffing) I was just looking for information on a new job because I was working part time and I needed a full time job. I didnt realize I was actually applying for a job until they said Can u could start Monday?I was at the 1st job with PS for abt 4 months. That job didnt work out so I went to PS and said I needed a new job. What really surprised me was I went back to PS Tues., had a job interview for the new job Wed., and started Thurs. Each time I was looking for a job it was a quick process. MAU was not quick abt getting a person a job. String you along and would not be able to get in contact with the person that was supposed to take care of you for weeks. PS understood I needed a job, helped me look for a job I might be enterested in and scheduled the new job interview ASAP.Thank you Phillips Staffing

Every job I was placed in, I was told they were temp-to-hire. No one ever got hired. I was laid off three times from the same placement. They use you for a few months and throw you away when theyre done. I was last laid off due to Bad performance even though I was never out or late and always kept up with others. A few weeks after they laid me off, I received a call from Phillips Staffing asking me to go back to the same placement again.

Horrible staffing. Especially Andrew hes super smug and rude aa can be . I dont recommend them at all.

So I found this place hopefully to get a good job, a professional job, BUT, it took forever for them to find me one, and when I get the job , I go to it thinking alright this is gonna be good, but as soon as I walk in everything goes downhill, I got dirty looks from everyone, I try to find someone to see what I’m supposed to be doing cause it’s my first day, and everyone I tried talking to was rude and smug, but finally talking to someone who is trying to find out why I’m there, then I find out they don’t know who I am why I’m there and basically told be to sit in the break room, 30-1hr later just waiting I got up and left , cause this is so unprofessional, like McDonald’s is way more professional than this staffing company, I do not recommend going here to try to find a job you’ll waste your time, just like they wasted my time and my gas, find something els cause you won’t find anything here.

Horrible place ! These people will waste your time ! They will call you into their office on short notice, then tell you your all done for today, get you get an hour down the road and call you to come back ! This place is a Joke

Ive used phillip staffing twice and both times I was hired on to the company they placed me at. The Simpsonville branch is very professional.

Keep looking else where. Phillips staffing is a joke! Hti, Hire Dynamics, Trace staffing and other temp agencies will really take you into consideration regardless of your past.

Havent heard back from them. And thats not professional.

They are fast and friendly, the best.
