My wife and I purchased a house in August, and had them come out to inspect our fireplace before the season. They were professional and friendly and even moved our appointment up to an earlier time. They got on the roof and fully inspected the chimney before cleaning our gas logs and getting us ready for the winter. We were very impressed by the quality and detail of their work. Blue Sky took on my risky repair job with a gas fireplace, rescheduled me earlier than planned, and then fixed it!

They showed up on time, and called as they were in transit. They did a thorough inspection. They dont push to do a sweep unless its actually needed. Well worth the price to have peace of mind on whether or not your chimney is in good condition.

Blue Sky was great, the two gentlemen sent out were on time and very informative. As our home is about 75 years old, we had ordered a Level 1 inspection and a cleaning for a very reasonable price. Not only were these guys very thorough, they were also very honest. My chimneys did not actually need cleaning and they informed of this fact. They could have cleaned them and made the revenue, I would have never known the difference. This was tremendously appreciated! We will be having Blue Sky back out to install a chimney cap. We highly recommend Blue Sky!

Ron Brigman professionally cleaned and recommended safety and efficiency improvements to our fireplace, chimney and wood stove. He sealed our brickwork, installed liners, and replaced our 30-year old stove. His work is excellent; he is dependable and thorough. We are now enjoying a safer, highly efficient heat source. A far cry from the chimney sweepers portrayed in Mary Poppins!We moved into our new house with a gas fire place that was not working. Ron and Evan came out and not only showed us how to run the fireplace, they also took care to clean the chimney, which revealed a large amount of creosote that had accumulated during the prior years of use. If we would have attempted to use the fire place without having it serviced, it would have been disastrous.Ron and Evan were prompt, professional, and precise with their service (friendly too!). What sets Ron apart from the others is his quiet confidence. When you talk with him, you can tell he speaks from vast experience in the area about all things regarding chimneys, fireplaces, flues dampers the safe repair and construction of it all. His knowledgable about his craft comes across without being pushy. Ron was a great listener. He took time to hear our concerns about our project and asked all the right questions to identify our goals for our repair. We had a chimney fire in an older flue as well as other problems with our fireplace, including air flow in the room and back drafting of smoke. We also suspected some hidden damage due to cracks and settling. I suspect there isn’t much Ron hasn’t seen in his time. Our main concern was present and future safety, and enjoyment of our fireplace as it is a feature we use very often. Ron offered choices of scope of repair and restoration with pros and cons and no pressure to buy or do any unnecessary work. In the end, we were so impressed with his thoughtful suggestions, we decided to do a more thorough tear out and replacement than the insurance adjuster or inspector had recommended. We were so glad we did! The long term damage was more extensive and there was actually charred wood beneath the firebox pad. Listening to Ron’s advice has ensured that the fireplace will be safe for decades to come. We appreciated how the work team kept worksite clean during the tear-out and rebuilding phases, and minimized dust in the house. We found Blue Sky Chimney easy to work with, very accommodating to customer concerns and the kind of people you are very comfortable with having in your home.
