We worked with Scott on our refresh and he and his team were excellent at focusing on the details, correcting anything that may have missed expectations. They were great at provided shipping updates based on the COVID impacts and for coordinating the smaller details. I would recommend them based on both service and price!

We have used South Sound Appliance for purchasing new appliances as well as repairing old ones. Ken is honest and upfront about the cost and whether it makes more sense to repair or replace. Prices are competitive, deliveries happen as scheduled, installers are kind and knowledgeable, and all with the small business feel you cant get from big box stores.

My wife and I were worried that our new fridge was working right so I contacted South Sound Appliance. It turns out they serviced our dishwasher a few years ago but I had forgotten that.And an important note here: before you schedule an appointment with an appliance repair company, make sure they require all their service techs wear face masks. The first company I had scheduled to come out told me that the owner wont wear a mask due to breathing issues and all his service guys wear their masks below their noses due to breathing issues. With South Sound, every tech is required to properly wear a face mask when inside a customers home.And thats exactly what Scotty was wearing--and wearing it properly--when he arrived for the service call today. He was very friendly and answered every one of my questions. He even threw in important info about ensuring the back wall was clear of obstruction so that cold air could circulate easily. He also showed me why the water coming out of the water dispenser can be warm. Just a really great guy. He said he thought he was the one who serviced the dishwasher that time.Turns out our fridge is problem free but Scotty did give us peace of mind. Both my wife and I highly recommend South Sound Appliance. They truly care about their customers. And I gotta say the feeling is mutual.

Bought 4 Appliances from them in Dec. 2020 out of them had issues with 3, they did fix the stove and Refrigerator. But when it came to fixing the Washer I was told that it hey could not come out, reason being? My Place stunk…… right it did and I explained the cause of it, rat infestation and that we were fixing it.Did not matter,

Terrible Customer serviceLady on phone wouldnt accept my correct purchase date.! Was very condescending and absolutely ridiculously RUDE. I had correct information. She then tries to ask for more proof of purchase,then she did in beginning of conversation. She asked me to give her a copy of a receipt when she first only asked for purchase date. Gave her purchase date number she WOULD NOT ACCEPT it. Then puts me on hold to Google the same information I gave her. Told me I needed a copy and told me yea the one you get at a store when you buy something. That actually came out of her mouth. She needs a lesson in CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING!ZERO STARS.! Dont call them. They charge for every 15 mins and they take hrs to even complete the task.

Top notch. These are honest folk ( which is so important ) -- They did everything they could to fast-track a difficult warranty repair in the midst of Covid-related delays ( i.e. getting parts from overseas ) - I would do business with them again in a shot.

Our Subzero freezer drawer is somehow offset on the tracks and it protrudes outward more on the left side than the right. I was afraid it would get worse or somehow stop sealing so I called Subzero and based on location South Sound Appliance was scheduled to come out. The repairman came and left in about 5 minutes. He did not wear a mask or take any other precautions but did take his shoes off as I requested. He used a level and said Its not crooked. I asked Are you sure? He insisted it wasnt even though he did not even try to inspect from the viewpoint in which it is most obvious. I didnt want to argue with him, because how am I supposed to get someone to fix something he doesnt see as defective? So I took a risk having someone come into home during a pandemic and the problem was never fixed. It wasnt a complete waste of time because I made sure to ask for some other helpful tips re. our unit and he did say I could extend the life of our water filter by pressing the button in front. Replacing them can be pricey and if we dont notice our ice tasting funny he said its fine to just reset. Ill have to confirm with Subzero but this is why I gave 2 instead of 1 star for a rating.Updated June 11, 2020: Just had Thompson Appliance come and he confirmed the defect I was seeing and pointed out other areas that made it obvious there was something wrong with the tracks. Apparently it is a common problem with my model fridge so I am even more puzzled why South Sound Appliance did not recognize the problem.

I got a speed queen washer delivered, it was dented from unloading off the truck which is understandable; theyre heavy! Terry, the delivery driver ordered me a new front panel to replace the dented one before he left my house. He just came by to install the new front panel, he was so quick! It was done in a matter of minutes. South sound appliance knows how to take care of their customers! I will purchase a dryer from them when my old one dies. Highly recommend!

Staff at store friendly and knowledgeable. Ordered a new range and was done inside of 15 minutes. Offered delivery same day but I was unavailable. Arranged delivery at my convenience. Upon delivery Everett and Colby courteous, made sure blankets down on floor to protect from scuffing, and they set up and checked all systems. Decided to buy extended warranty- no problem done over phone in 5 minutes. Overall great experience.

After messing up my 20 year old Jenn Air range trying to fix it myself, I was afraid I was going to have a massive expense trying to repair it. I called South Sound Appliance. The repair tech, Dale showed up right on time and did a very professional job with the repair. He quickly diagnosed the problem and everything works like new. From start to finish, this was a five star job well done. The price was very fair and I highly recommend them.

I scheduled an appointment for a repair on my built in microwave and the communication and customer service were terrible. I ended up canceling my appointment. The representative was rude and unprofessional. I will take my business elsewhere.
