Great place and very affordable. Dollar General carries everything from clothing to groceries. The employees are very friendly and this time I went with my mom it was not full. No long wait times to pay either. One thing I do notice evertime I go, they are always over stocked with clothing inventory. They need to better organize the clothing to not make it appear cluttered. The clothing is located in the front center of the store and looks messy. Some aisles have many boxes of merchandise in the way, which makes it hard to walk down aisles. With that said the prices and friendliness of the employees outweighs that.

Call the general manager or corporation if you guys have any issues and I guarantee theyll fix your problem. Anyways honestly just came here to use the restroom but I bought some stuff, I love going to Dollar Generals I dont want to say it but the restroom was super dirty, water on the floor I think the toilet was leaking, no cover for the soap hardly anything in there anyways,the sink was filty but as long as I can use the restroom I dont care lol when you enter the store it looks unorganized, stuff everywhere the employees where super nice, great customer service and working hard. It was busy I think they need to have more people at night

I think people here a little bit rude, instead of paying attention to customer service theyre distracted on their phones or talking about tik tok😅 Missing items or missing inventory sometimes for weeks, its sad they miss out on sales cause they dont stock up or order enough of something so theyre left without certain items. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I love the general store right now its hard to find the things u need because of the pandemic but other than that I always find what I need truth be told yes sir lol and they have very good workers here and there very nice and there always doing there job thank you general store love ya

Always get in new things, prices are fair and especially good deals on toiletries and laundry essentials with the dollar general digital savings.

Today I had the worst experience at this store. My nephew just wanted a price check and I guess it killed them to check which it’s their job! The rude manager had the nerve to tell my nephew mind you he’s only 8 that the price is on the shelf where he got it. Well if the toy is in the wrong spot it won’t have a price right there. I feel like one you don’t tell a 8 year old rude like that. Tell their parent come on. Just do your job and check. It’s the closes store to me but since they are always rude i will be avoiding this place from now on. Horrible!!

Ridiculous that you can shop here but cant use the restroom due to Covid 19.

I like going into this store because it looks a bit organized and cleaner than their competitors store. And I have downloaded their app and having sales sent to me is great especially with last minute shopping trips needed

Always a mess and weird looks when you dig through it to find the good stuff. Clean up and I wont have to dig? Managers are not friendly and I have had to call in on 2. The only guy that is nice and personable works the least hours. Go figure.

There is a guy he says he is a manager doesnt use a name tag because he says he doesnt give out his name that is very rude! I have been in there a couple of times and never greets customers or if u say thank you after a transaction NEVER says your welcome or anything. He has very poor customer service skills. If u dont like your job get another one that doesnt involve being around customers!

Sometimes the employees can be a little difficult with coupons over all i like shopping at the stop. You find more of them that are willing to help out with the purchases.

It fast and simple has things on hand when i need it.

Im not sure what happens at this store. I come here all the time but not for service only for convenience. All the managment are always in a bad mood , people working here seem exausted and unhappy at times rude they never welcome people in the store and when they do it seem forced, there is ALWAYS one cashier im always waiting more than 10 mins to check out .

Cashiers are slow they generally only have one cashregister open which makes it even slower employees dont want to help you locate anything unless they feel like it and other than that its a clean kept store

I do a lot of price-comparisons -- to save money, in which this particular Dollar General is Shafters own proverbial little Wal-Mart. A lot of items are actually priced cheaper than Wal-Mart and theres always item-sales available. This is my go-to grocery store before going to all of the other grocery-stores.

Horrible! Rude customer service, messy, unorganized, just bad period! This dollar general is the worst in kern county.
