The ladys in the office are friendly ND professional. The rates are less than the transfer station and mutch better than their competitors. The place is well laid out. Most of the time its clear where to dump, but you can always ask someone and they will direct you.

Came here for the 1st time to throw out some boxes and was initially yelled at by the lady in the booth to move my car. Not knowing if I was supposed to be in that line I drove to the side parking lot where I saw a dumpster and I proceeded to throw out my three empty boxes( Not the right thing to do I admit but I was unaware). I was immediately yelled/belittle at by the original lady in the booth and an angry old lady. I attempted to tell them I was confused and all I was told was that I had to pay 62 dollars as some sort of punishment.Again I know now I was in the wrong for where I threw my empty boxes out but the way they approached me and yelled at me was unprofessional. Yelling at me like an animal telling me I’m gonna pay 62 dollars is probably not the 1st way to approach someone. Dangling a 62 fee as some sort of punishment for throwing away three empty boxes instead of them talking to me like a human is plain old wrong.

I called for help with what to do with a pick up truck load of yard waste. The lady was extremely nice and helpful on the phone. $75 flat rate for anything you can fit inna p8ck up. if you have just yatd ckipppings one way and yard cliping plus or only other another way but same price. The dump signs were very easy to read and tell what to do. The man at the entrance taking the money was nice and funny. Everyone needs a hatd hat that will be getting out of the vehicle. they sell them there for about $7 or yiu can wear your own. I brought my motocycle helmet and it worked great. There was no smell like at many dumps. it was fast an efficient. i brought my own take and broom to empty out my truck. No one rushed me. several vehicles can line up all at the same time. i will definitely go again when i have a truck full of items.

Watch them dump trash and spilled in the street and they just left it there. Drove off and did not clean it up

Place is a scam. Overpriced. Then you have to buy a 6$ hard hat or bring your own. But Mirimar was closed so instead of a quick 35$ dump, I had to come here and pay 82$ to dump and get a hard hat.

Way overpriced ... scam really. No logic or consistency to their charging. Charged me 70$ to dump yard waste... free to dump at convoy.... worth driving and waiting a little bit longer, sadly as this POS is less than a mile from my home.

This rating is for the STAFF ONLY. I had great customer service experiences from the person (sorry, can remember his name) I called last week who gave me rate and general info... to the lady working the front gate Saturday morning 12/29/18 (again, didn’t get her name, but she was very nice). The attendant who guided my truck to drop off point, I believe his name was Orlando, was excellent. You guys need more people like Orlando. He saved me from almost driving over a very big nail, and treated me with kindness & respect. It’s very rare to go anywhere nowadays and get great customer service from every employee you make contact with. But today I did. Now.... I do believe $70 to dump a small pickup load of household refuse is way to much. But that is not the employees fault, so I did not factor it into my rating. Thanks again to Orlando and the rest of the Sycamore Landfill staff!

Employees are nice and if youre a Santee resident you get two coupons per year to dump stuff up to 1 ton each trip for free ( 2 tons total). Its important that you clarify what types of things you can take there to avoid a trip in vain. When going to dump stuff if youre the resident, you need to be in the vehicle driving there ( you cant get the coupons and then send someone else by themselves to dump stuff). I was just told that now you have to bring your own hard hat otherwise youll have to buy one for 6 dlls. Also use closed-toe shoes. If youre bothered by smells take something to cover your mouth.

Way overpriced! Pulled up to the weight scale and they wanted $80 for a 5x10 trailer with green trash I was hauling + some logs I had in the back of my truck. I decided to drive 13 minutes down the 52W to the dump on Convoy and only paid $20

They charge each vehicle load based on their own personal opinions/ likes for the day. I was told by one member of staff upon entrance to just lie about your load and you will pay less.

They take anything you bring. Very helpful people.

Wanted 80 bucks for metal to be dumped. So I went to convoy dump and they paid me for the scrap metal.

Never againThey charged a ridiculous price for a small amount of Capet reminants they did not weight out load or ask just looked and the back of the truck and charged $75We also had to purchase a hard hat
