Kelly Rice provided haircuts of both of my boys, and she was very precise and the perfect balance of calm and friendly for my guys!

Don’t appreciate a barber tipping himself already by charging me extra. Normal haircuts are 25 dollars but he was charging me 30. Nice to know this place cares about just taking your money.

I never leave reviews but am so upset with the service here, I feel the need to provide one. I took my son here to get his haircut. We just moved to Santee and I needed to find a new barber shop for him. We walked in and they said two people in front of us. I didn’t have an appointment so was fine with waiting a bit. We had been waiting for about 25 minutes and another guy walks in behind us. The one guy let him know there was one in front of him but they would be with him shortly. One guy gets done with the person he is cutting and talks to the other barber who is still cutting his customers hair. No one says anything to me or acknowledges us but just takes the other guy who walked in 25 minutes after us. Had they said he is almost done and is going to take your son or acknowledged what was going on, I probably wouldn’t have been upset but we had been waiting for now 30 minutes. Just disrespectful and will not be going back here and urge others not to as well.

This was my first time going to Mooses and i have to say the service was GREAT!!!! I was taken care of as soon as i walked in the door By Jennifer who did a great job cutting my hair.Jennifer was definitely easy on the eyes but Dont let the good looks fool ya. Not only does she do a great job cutting hair, She also seems to be a very intelligent young Lady with a great mind for business.I will definitely be a return customer.

I would love to add a picture of my sons bald spot on top of his head. I gave these guys two more chances and they still can’t get it right. Never go there again

My second haircut here and again I love it! This is the place to go to, I’d just recommend calling ahead because the wait time can be a bit long.

Came in to get my undercut redone, the first girl couldnt do the design so she got me to the girl who could. She was wonderful! Clean lines, nice, and quick!! I just wish I was better with remembering names!

The barbers set their own prices, so it can be a little more expensive than a generic haircut place, but its a much better vibe and customer service experience. The individual barbers also offer different services (e.g., straight razor shaves, steam facials), so ask about what you want and who can provide it. Much better to schedule your visit. If you walk-in, you still wont wait long, but the barber may not provide the service you want.

If you want a high quality intricate haircut and shave this is the place. A little on the pricier side, but very high quality and talented barbers. This place is my first choice in San Diego. They shaped my hairline and beard perfectly despite the fact I am a self proclaimed wolf man. Go here before an interview or just for a confidence booster.

Never been to this place and decided to give them a try. I called at about 10:30 AM and spoke to a Hispanic lady with a thick accent who booked me for 4:45. I show up and two guys are all thats inside cleaning their tools and tell me theyre closed and dont know why the appointment would be booked. I pointed to my name and the 4:45 time on their appointment book under the name ayman(?) on the counter and they just told me they cant do it because theyre closed.Thanks for wasting my time. Glad I didnt waste my money here.

Great value for a quality experience! This is a professional well staffed operation. My friend and I were seated immediately even though we didn’t have appointments (3:45 Friday) Jarrod (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) took care of my haircut and shave. Jarrod is friendly, personable and very talented. From what I observed, this would also apply to the other barbers but I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Unsanitary, dirty, and unfriendly!!!This place has definitely tanked. I used to like the barbers and the atmosphere. No longer can I recommend this place. SAD.Now it’s DISGUSTING! When I enter I had to step over piles of hair. When I was offered the chair it was COVERED with multiple past guys hair. All the barbers think cleaning the station, tools, and chairs is with a hair blower.I was completely ignored, I got a low quality cut that I could get at a cheep chain CHOP SHOP. I was over charged and treated like cattle.

I used to love this place and would always get solid haircuts, but lately I’ve had nothing but bad haircuts. There’s this one barber who works there, an older woman, who I always seem to end up with, and everytime she cuts my hair it ends up nothing like what I show her. One time she nailed it so I decided to give her another chance but yesterday I went in for a little something different, and she seemed to be sort of fighting me on how my hair should be cut. It sounded like she thought I still wanted the same haircut I was getting before. As we got further and further in, she just kept making my hair look worse and worse. The photos I showed her and what I got looked nothing alike. Should probably ask for a refund for the haircut, but either way, I’m no longer doing business with this place. Worst cut I’ve ever gotten.

Been taking my son here for awhile now. Weve been extremely pleased with all his haircuts and prices are totally reasonable for the quality you get. Glad to have a good shop close by.

I’ve been going to Moose’s for years. I’ve also been to about eight different barbers there. I have never had a bad haircut. I’ve never been to a barbershop that is so consistently good.

Mikey is an up and comer. dont sleep on his skills just cause he looks young. he can do a mean fade. best haircut i have had in a long time. he understood what i was asking for and i left smiling.

Went here to try a new barber shop, It was amazing, Britiny did my haircut and shave, she did a wonderful job. She was super friendly and helpful, her service was on point, I couldn’t ask for more. I’ll definitely be back.

ADRIAN! is the best barber by far in this shop. Never had a barber like him, he takes his time, and does exactly what you imagined in your head. He cuts your hair according to your head shape, and doesnt do anything out of the ordinary, he keeps it clean, simple and thats what makes the best haircut. I never leave a review but I know a good barber from the first cut... hard to find excellent barbers like this.

Adrian is a great barber. I am not sure of the rest of them. I usually go for the younger guys because they are fresh out of barber school and still do what they were taught in school. The older barbers tend to just try to do what the customer says but still has a similar cut. If you dont like it then try a different barber. Dont have to bash the entire shop.

The worst place ive ever gotten my hair cut. The barbers were more interested in talking to each other then taking care of the customer. I got a straight razor shave and got nicked twice and was left with like a 5 oclock shadow and the girl completely missed edging up one of my side burns that i had to fix myself when i got to the venue for my wedding. What a complete waste of money and time.

I walked in was actually attended to quickly , i only cut the sides, and lined up my beard and ended up paying 40$ for a haircut and experience I couldve easily paid 20$ for elsewhere and gotten a way better haircut. Id understand if the value was there but its just not. As much as I wanted to like the place it is not worth 40$ for such a basic task, especially if theres nothing more for my $ besides a supercuts style haircut

I dont know how this location runs most of their seats but it appears that its ad hoc for their barbers.If you go and get so.wonw you want to see again, get their information, no guarantee they will be there.I had a bad experience with waiting, but it could have been an abnormal night. I brought my daughter here, she has a boy cut and ethnic hair. They had NO IDEA how to fade or cut ethnic hair. She hates her cut, the person that cut it wanted to fix it but I just wanted to cut my losses and move on.

Whelp, just received the worst haircut Ive ever had in my life from this place. I went in for a hair cut and beard trim. The first thing my barber did was trim my side burns. Yes, he trimmed my sideburns and I have a beard...For my hair, Ive been trying to grow it out, so all I ask for was to have it cleaned up. Apparently clean it up means give me a military/hipster cut with really short sides and a long fro-hawk on top. After he saw my displeasure with the cut he asked if I still wanted to have my beard trimmed, so I asked well how are you going to do it? To which he replied I dont know, I guess just run clippers down your jaw. So I declined the beard trim. This guy had no idea what he was doing, and really needs to find a new profession. I cant think of a nice way to say this since I now have to shave my head just to fix his mess after 8 months of growing it in.I dont know how the other barbers are, but if their willing to hire this guy Id assume their quality is low.

So I took my son for a cut, on a Tuesday at 230 in the afternoon. I waited for 25 minutes and there were 3 barbers done during this time. One had been done for 14 minutes, and sat up front talking to his friend for the whole time, the other had been done for 9 minutes, and the last one 5 minutes.I stood up to leave and they dismissed me when I expressed my dismay with the fact that one person was done for 14 minutes, and we were still sitting there. My time is just as important, plus Im paying and tipping.Not going back there again.

Stephanie has been my barber going on 1 year and is the best barber I have ever had and im in the military. I have been at that shop for 2 years now and have only had a few bad cuts but those barbers are now gone. Its a great shop and a great atmosphere.

Hands down worst cut Ive had. The barber Alex had me in his chair for an hour and 12 minutes and was nothing of what I wanted or asked for. I encourage you to pass this up.

Adrians the best barber Ive ever had and Ive bent several barbershops around SD.Most of the other barbers are good as well, but Adrian is a tier above the rest.

I called ahead and asked if there was a wait and the guy said there was none. So I went in at 1245 and signed in. An hour went by, they took 4 people ahead of me who I guess had appointments. They took roughly half an hour for each hair cut. I just left due to the fact I didn’t have time to wait.

Worst place to get your haircut.Ive been here twice and both times I had to go home and fix my hair myself. Its not like I ask for a difficult haircut either (2 on the sides 5 on top). You can have all the big screen tvs and make the place look as cool you want. All that wont really matter if your barbers cant cut hair worth a damn Im not going to come back. The owner should be ashamed of himself for running a place like this. There are so many more better places around here like raymonds. Or you might as well go to supercuts if you want a crappy overpriced haircut

My go to barber shop in santee. Everytime Ive gone in I have yet to meet a barber there to provide a bad haircut.

Walked in right at one oclock signed in and took a seat as 7 barbers cut hair. I was the second person in line and through out the next hour was skipped over 6 different time while the barber cut hair and left or took 15 mins to clean there station and called someone else. Will not go back because they favorite there customers and will not take new clients if they dont know them.

Came in not long before they were about to close. They still took me as a customer. Got a hair cut and a beard trim. Left looking like a new man.
